Don't do this, don't do that. This is nothing but another way to try to guilt-trip people. You could put literally anything there because it would be "offensive" to that group: the police, nurses, princesses... No one thinks the costumes shown in these photos define these cultures. In fact, most people belonging to these cultures don't wear these things. Stop victimizing yourselves.

BLM now MF
If you still think that “Black Lives Matter is a decentralized movement advocating for non-violent civil disobedience”, you might want to think again. BLM is nothing but a black supremacy hate group equivalent to Ku Klux Klan. The only difference is that KKK admits they’re racist, whereas BLM pretends they’re just a peaceful civil rights movement. The following article proves otherwise, and is definitely not just an “isolated incident”, because the hatred and racism against whites is real. And before you say white people can’t face racism, I suggest you look up the definition of “racism”, because nowhere does it say what color you have to be to face it.
'Lean into it until death! You saw the video': Georgia teacher resigns for writing 'do it right' in comments under a photo of a man kneeling on a crying child's neck in scene reminiscent of George Floyd's killing
Dekalb, County, Georgia teacher Brian Papin resigned after making comments on a social media post reminiscent of George Floyd's murder
Papin had been under investigation after commenting on an image of a man kneeling on a child's neck, saying the man in the image was 'doing it all wrong'
His comments continue with detailed instructions on how to perform the knee press and reminds the person who made the post that he 'saw the video'
The reference was to footage taken by a bystander of when Floyd died under a police officer's knee during an arrest in Minneapolis on Memorial Day
The man in the post was identified by police as Isaiah Jackson, 20, of Clark County, Ohio, who faces charges for taking the image
The picture which circulated online had the caption 'BLM now MF', in a reference to the Black Lives Matter Movement
A Georgia teacher resigned after he made comments on a social media post of a man kneeling on a child's neck that was reminiscent of George Floyd's murder.
Brian Papin, who taught special education for the Dekalb County School District near Atlanta, was being investigated after his comments were reported to the district's administrators, a spokeswoman told Dailymail.com Friday.
'Again! Your (sic) doing it wrong!' Papin wrote on the social media post with the image. 'One knee on center of the back one on the neck and lean into it until death! You saw the video!', he added, in reference to footage taken by a bystander of Floyd's slaying.
'Get it right or stop f****** around!' Papin also remarked in the post.

Even if this was some sort of provocation made in counter to the idiotic and disrespectful “George Floyd challenge”, it’s made in incredibly bad taste and with great lack of discretion. That is a small child. And what’s even more disturbing, is a Special Education Teacher making comments like that. I’m sure BLM activists and other SJWs will find a way to justify this, but it will only show how much they don’t care what happens to white people just as long as they’re in the right. If the roles in this case had been reversed, this would be all over the news. But because this is a white child, who cares, right?

“[P]ublic figures must be held to a different standard because of the power they wield.“ No. Public figures are people just like anyone else, and they are allowed to make mistakes. The best thing to do is to own up to your mistakes and only apologize if you’re truly sorry. Otherwise it’s just unnecessary virtue signalling.
You also don’t own anyone anything. Don’t let anyone tell you how you should think and act or that you should be “actively” anti-racist, etc. You’re being manipulated and demonized for trying to focus on and live your own life. To these people your problems don’t matter, even when most people have enough on their plates without being gratuitously guilt-tripped.
a lot of people will say things like “we all said stuff we don’t agree with now when we were younger” and i agree to an extent, many of us did have some level of ignorance before but here are a couple thoughts –
1.) not everyone was virulently, violently racist. yes maybe many people weren’t educated on the nuances of systemic racism, said things that were far far from perfect, etc., but if you really think EVERYONE was out here thinking blackface and slurs were okay??? i have questions about your childhood??
2.) we are not all public figures. public figures must be held to a different standard because of the power they wield. a platform is a PRIVILEGE not a right.
3.) if you are a public figure and your early videos were racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc., you effectively built your career off of that. that is where your career took off. you have directly profited off of bad behavior. many of these apology videos are filmed in million dollar homes bought in part by these videos.
4.) not posting blatantly racist things is not the same as being actively anti-racist. same with sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. I am white, so this is not for me to determine what counts as effective anti-racism, but it’s for sure not an ABSENCE of action

I just read that the The Simpsons is going to stop using white actors to voice non-white characters. This is actually smart and fine.
But at the same time it’s somehow okay to cast a black woman to portray Ariel, who is white? Oh, the double-standards.
And don’t even get me started about female James Bond...
If you want diversity, why don’t you come up with something new and exciting, instead of hijacking and remolding old characters.

This is my very first post here on Tumblr and I’m aware that I’m probably about to get a lot of hate.
Trying to normalize being overweight is not a good thing. Trying to normalize being underweight is not a good thing. Body positivity is quite a toxic concept, which happily disregards all the health issues connected to weight problems. It’s also interesting how people advocating for body positivity most of the time promote it being okay to be overweight, but seem to forget about being seriously underweight. You can be proud of your body if you’re fat but not if you’re thin? What double standards.
Obesity, anorexia, et cetera are dangerous and real illnesses. I’m not here to badmouth anyone. Of course everyone is entitled to feel comfortable in their body, but it does not change the fact that being seriously over- or underweight is not a good thing.
