Wherem'st did you get so talented
The god's honest answer is circumstances in my life that started about a decade ago (severe agoraphobia caused by untreated OCD) ultimately led to me having a lot of time to explore several different hobbies and crafts, drawing among them. The same effect can be achieved in a way that is less detrimental to your life by becoming obsessed with something (a TV show, a video game, even your own original characters) and drawing it over and over. That's advice you hear echoed a lot online, but people say it because it's true
As a treat, here is the oldest image in my "ART ARCHIVE" folder, from February 2014

If anybody's curious, these are the other lineart brushes in my usual rotation:
Krupuk Dry Permanent (I usually apply the CSP binarization effect to drawings I do with this to make coloring easier)
SU-Cream Pencil
Kaze_Fude
Also sometimes I just draw stuff in MS Paint (it usually is not refined enough to end up on this blog though lol)
hi! I hope it’s okay to ask, but what program/brushes did you use for your latest splatoon post? :]c i love the texture and lineart!!
Thank you!
The majority of it was done with a brush called "The Pixeliest" that appears to no longer be on the Clip Studio Asset store, but as far as I can tell it's just a basic round binary brush with the "post correction" setting set to 2. (If you don't use CSP, you can get the same effect from any round binary brush with no pen pressure or stabilizer.)
The fluff on Pearl's robe is the default CSP tone scraping brush, and the hearts/diamonds are from this brush set (one of my favorites, it's so cute)
