Thought #201.3
I added pronouns. Feel free to change them.

Hero sprinted through the trees weaving this way and that before finding a log to hide behind.
"Hero. Where are you?" Villain yelled.
Villain had been wandering around the woods, switching between yelling Hero's name and threatening her.
Hero held her hand over her mouth and closed her eyes.
Villain's footsteps were getting closer.
Villain's footsteps stopped. He smiled. "Oh Hero. You never change."
He jumped over the log and grabbed Hero's arm.
"How did you find me?" Hero ground out.
He motioned around. "Anytime you've tried to hide from me. You always go for the logs. The walls. The stuff on the ground."
Hero glared at Villain and kicked at his legs.
Villain blocked the kick and angrily threw her over his shoulder.
"Let go of me." Hero hit Villain's back and squirmed around.
"You're lucky I found you. Otherwise, you're friend would be searching for her baby."
Hero continued fighting. "So help me if you so much as lay a finger on her baby-"
"I know you'll kill me. But in the end it would be your fault if anything happens to them." Villain arrived at the car and dropped Hero to her feet.
"So now you have three choices." Villain leaned in close to Hero. "Either you sit in the passenger seat. Get thrown in the backseat. Or..." He smiled. "My favorite option. You get to ride in the trunk."
Hero swallowed. "I... I'll take the front seat."
He grabbed her arm and opened the car door. "Good choice."

Thought #245
"Stop being such an asshole." Hero said crossing her arms.
Villain laughed and picked her up. He set her down on the couch and threw a blanket over her.
"Stop trying to move while you're hurt."
Hero stood and pushed past Villain.
"I'm fine." She grabbed the front door handle.
Villain rolled his eyes and picked up Hero under her armpits. "No, you aren't. Supervillain shot you and broke a couple of ribs. So stop acting like a child and rest."
He set her down on the couch and put the blanket on top of her.
"You're an asshole." She said, crossing her arms.
"I know. What audiobook do you want to listen to? Fourth Wing of A Court of Mist and Fury?"

Thought #244
"You're such a bitch." Villain screamed at Hero.
She rolled her eyes and punched him in his stomach. "Don't talk during a fight. Your voice is grating."
Villain huffed and grabbed her wrist. He pulled her close and glared at her.
"You smell. When was the last time you actually used deodorant?"
She glared at him. "Oh now you think you can..."
"Would you two just kiss already." Sidekick yelled. "I'm sick of watching you guys dance around pretending to hate each other." They threw up their hands. "I'm going home to feed my dogs."
Hero and Villain looked at each other.
Villain let go of Hero and stepped away. "So... so do you want to go get food."

Thought #243
"Are you still texting that person?" Sidekick asked Hero.
"Yeah. We've had a good conversation." Hero picked up her vibrating phone.
Sidekick rolled her eyes. "So a random number texted you one day and now you are bffs?"
"We've just talked about what we do for work."
"And..."
"And he's rich." Hero smiled.
Sidekick grabbed the phone from Hero. "You totally want to sleep with him."
Hero grabbed at her phone. "No."
Sidekick put Hero's phone in her purse. "You need a detox. No phone for the rest of the day."
Hero sighed. "I was just resp-"
"Nope. We are going shopping and you aren't going to think about this mysterious man." Sidekick stood. "He could be a killer. Or even an enemy."

Thought #242
"Don't leave." Hero grabbed onto Villain's leg and wrapped their legs around it.
"I have to go. I have to go make money." They laughed and drug Hero forward. "You know to supplement your spending."
Hero glared at them. "I do not spend a lot of money."
Villain laughed and pinched Hero's side, making them let go of their leg. "Oh yeah."
Villain walked to the front door. "How are your six stained glass kits working out."
Hero lay on the ground with a sigh.
"Haven't opened them yet?" Villain opened the door. "I'll be back tonight. Go test out your new 3d printer and let me know how it goes." They waved and shut the door.

Thought #241
Hero walked into their apartment. They sighed as they dropped their keys in the bowl on their entry table.
"I told you to stop coming here."
Villain groaned. "I need your help."
Hero rolled their eyes, walking to their kitchen. They grabbed the first aid out of their cabinet. "Let me guess. You were practicing your teleporting, and you ran head first into a wall."
"No..." Villain dropped their head down. "I messed up my timing and ran head first into a bus."

Thought #240
Villain punched at Hero, who dodged it gracefully.
Hero ran away from them and froze. "He did not just do that to you." They yelled.
Villain looked at them confused. "Who-"
"No." They yelled, throwing up their hands. "What a bastard."
Villain walked up to them. "Are you talking about me?"
Hero waved them off. "Girl, get out of that relationship. He doesn't deserve you."
They threw up their hands again. "I have some stupid thing right now, but I will be over after this."
Villain pointed to themselves. Hero nodded and waved them off.
"You better have broken up with him by the time I get there." Hero nodded. "Yes, I'll grab ice cream."
Hero said goodbye and turned to Villain. "Can we hurry this up. I've got a friend in crisis."
"What did he do to her?"
Hero rolled their eyes. "He cheated. Multiple times."
"Oh hell no. Let's go help her out of this relationship. You get the ice cream. I'll get the wine."

Thought #222.2
Warnings: talk of abuse, swearing
Previous
Hero sighed and wrapped a towel around herself. She stepped out of the bathroom into her room.
She slowly got dressed and wrapped her hair in the towel. She sighed again and sank into her bed.
Her room was magnificent. A large king bed sat in the middle of the room with the softest sheets. There were large windows lining one wall. The view was stunning.
Apparently, Villain had a safe house high in the mountains.
Hero rolled to her side, facing the windows.
It had been a month since Villain had brought her here.
A soft knock came from her door. Villain walked in with a tray of food.
"I brought you some breakfast." Villain sat the tray down on her sidetable and sat on the bed.
He touched Hero's shoulder. She sat up and wiped her eyes.
"What's going on?" Villain said fast, grabbing her hand.
"Has Superhero even tried to find me?" She asked softly.
Villain took a deep breath. "No. I've been tracking him and he's been..."
"Partying. Sleeping with prostitutes. Drinking until he blacks out." She rolled her eyes. "That's normal."
Villain huffed. "Even when he had you?"
Hero scoffed and undid the towel on her head. "I was just a trophy."
She stood and walked to the bathroom.
"I would be locked away in my room during the parties and expected to stay there."
Villain stood in the doorway.
"I only left one night." She took a deep breath. "He beat the shit out of me and put me back in my room. No pity. No apologies. Just the silent treatment.
"After that I never left. When he would get paranoid he'd-" she took a sharp breath. "Tie me up. He didn't want me to ruin his fun."
Hero turned to Villain. He stepped forward and grabbed her arm. He pulled her into a hug.
"You don't have to be around him anymore. I will protect you from him. He's a piece of shit who doesn't deserve you."
Hero grabbed on to Villain's back. She buried her face in his shirt. He stroked the back of her head.
An alarm sounded in the house. Villain checked his phone.
"Shit."
Hero let go of him. "What-"
Villain rushed out of the bathroom. "I need you to hide. I'll take care of this."
She froze. "Don't lock me in here."
He turned and grabbed her shoulders. "I won't. And you don't have to stay here, but just trust me. Please hide."
Hero nodded and wandered around the room.
Villain turned to the door and ran to the living room.
Superhero was standing in the room. Surrounded by guards.
"Where is my wife. I want my property back."

Thought #239
Villain walked into the office.
"I have an appointment at 5." They said as they got to the front desk.
Receptionist nodded and motioned for the chairs. "They will be right out to get you."
Villain nodded and sat down.
A few minutes later Hero walked out to the waiting room.
"See you next week." They said to the patient behind them.
Hero met eyes with Villain. "Come on back."
Villain followed Hero to their office. Hero sat down in their chair as Villain closed the door and sat on the couch.
"How has-"
"They know where you are." Villain spit out.
Hero met eyes with them. "They as in..."
"Superhero and Supervillain."
Hero set down their notebook. "How soon?"
"I don't know. I just know that they are coming. You have to get out of here."
Hero stood and started pacing around the room. They ran a hand through their hair. "I can't move again."
"I know." Villain stood. "But they will kill you and you know they will."
Hero turned fast. "You don't think I know that? So what do I do now? Change my name again? Move to another state? Again."
Villain nodded. "That's all you can do."
Hero shook their head. "Thank you for the suggestion, but I'm done running. I'll just stay here and let them find me."
Villain grabbed their arm. "What about me? What about-"
"You'll take good care of them." Hero looked at the clock. "Our time is up. I will walk you out to the lobby."
"Please."
Hero opened the door. "You can talk to Receptionist to schedule another appointment."
Hero walked down the hall to the door that led to the lobby.
Villain followed slowly. "Hero. You're making the wrong decision."
Hero froze. "I just can't anymore. I don't want to make you move again."
Villain took their hand. "I will go wherever you go."
Hero chuckled. "I'll see you when you get home."
Villain sighed. "I'm not leaving here until you're done."

Thought #238
Hero walked to his apartment building, humming a soft tune.
He arrived at the door and pulled out his keys.
The window at the end of the hallway shattered and Villain tumbled through it.
"You took forever to get home." Villain stood and grabbed her side. "I need your help."
Villain collapsed.
Hero ran to them. He grabbed Villain's wrist and felt for her pulse.
"I'm still alive." Villain said softly. "I just need a few stitches and I'll get out of your hair."
Hero chuckled and swept Villain up in his arms. "You aren't going anywhere for a while."
Villain grabbed at his shirt and sighed. "Fine."
Hero opened his door and set Villain down softly on the couch.
"I'll only stay here if you provide some ice cream, a warm blanket, and all the pain medication you have."
Hero laughed and shut his door.
"How about we start with you telling me what happened, and I'll look at your wound." Hero took off his jacket and knealt by Villain's side.
She scoffed. "Ugh you're being so needy."
Hero chuckled and pulled up Villain's shirt. She winced and moved away from his hand.
"So what happened?" Hero asked softly.
Villain put her hands over her eyes. "I learned a secret about Supervillain. He decided he valued his secret over me, so he attacked." She winced as Hero touched the gash in her side.
"I got out by the skin of my teeth. Luckily, I'm pretty good at hiding and moving quickly. You're the first person I thought about. I don't have anyone else."
Hero sat back and ran his hand through his hair. "I can help you. It won't be easy and it won't be quick. But I can provide you a safe place to stay and recover. To hide out."
Villain sniffled. "Thank you." She whispered.
He nodded and stood. "I need to run to the store for some supplies. I'll be back soon."
Villain sat up and opened her mouth.
"And ice cream."

Thought #237
Hero ran through the theater and dove backstage.
Villain laughed. "You think you can hide from me?"
Hero smiled and ran into the costume room.
From there they ran under the stage.
They could hear footsteps on the stage above them.
"Go find them. They went that way."
The footsteps got quieter.
They sat behind a set and took a deep breath. They closed their eyes and listened.
After a few minutes, the footsteps came back.
"What do you mean you can't find them?" Villain shouted.
"We went that way, but it led to four different places to go to. We didn't know what to do after that." A henchman said.
"Oh, so you're stupid." Villain said angrily. "Go look through the rooms and find them."
The footsteps ran off again.
Hero smiled and got out from behind the set. They had grown up in this theater and knew all the nooks and crannies.
They laughed and ran to the other side of the stage. They popped out to the left of Villain.
"Sad you don't have good help."
Villain turned fast and glared at Hero.
Hero shrugged and ran off stage towards the catwalk. "Have fun trying to find me."

Previous
Hero sat in the corner and watched Sidekick snore.
She rolled her eyes and looked down at her wrist.
If only I could get a splint on this it would make my life so much easier.
She sighed and looked around the room.
Nothing. Not even...
Her eyes landed on Sidekicks clipboard.
Hero moved slowly and quietly.
Creeping around the room she made her way towards Sidekicks nightstand.
Slowly. Move slo-
Sidekick stopped storing and grunted. She froze. Sidekick mumbled and rolled over. He resumed snoring.
She continued on and wrapped her hand around the clipboard. She slowly pulled it off of the sidetable.
Now, how to break this thing without making a sound.
She looked around the room again. I need something sharp to saw at this.
She looked under the bed and at the sidetable.
Nothing.
She crawled silently to the dresser and stood up. Opening the top drawer slowly.
Undies and socks.
She opened the next drawer.
Wallet, keys and...
A pocket knife.
Of course, he has a pocket knife.
She grabbed the knife and slowly closed the drawer. She sat back down in the corner and opened the knife up.
She smiled and started etching a line into the clipboard.
It must have taken hours for her to get the clipboard thin enough to snap. She grabbed the clipboard and stepped on the other half.
Hero waited for Sidekick to snore before snapping the board in half.
Without the use of her other wrist her arm was burning. Hero wiped the sweat from her forehead and continued splitting the smaller section in half.
The sun had risen and Hero had finally gotten the two pieces to be the right size. She took off her sling and laid it on the floor.
She grabbed the two pieces of clipboard and set them by her wrist. She grabbed the sling and wrapped it tightly, pinning the pieces to her wrist.
She took a deep breath and moved her arm around. It felt good.
Well better than it had.
She sighed and leaned against the wall. Closing her eyes she drifted off to sleep.

Thought #236
Hero sighed as they rode the elevator up to their office.
Their day job was not what they wanted to do right now. They wanted to be at home researching Villain and coming up with a plan to stop them.
"You need the money. You need the money." Hero repeated to themselves.
The door opened and they plastered a smile on their face. They walked into the front doors and froze.
Someone stood at the front desk talking to Receptionist.
"Oh, Hero." She said brightly. "Perfect timing. Someone is here to see you."
Hero looked at Villain, who had a huge smile plastered over their face.
Hero took a deep breath and plastered the smile back on their face.
"Hello. Follow me to my office and we can meet there."
Villain nodded and followed Hero.
Hero let Villain into the office and closed the door behind them.
"What are you trying to do?" Hero whispered harshly.
"I thought you would be happy to see me. You have put in so much work in finding where I go that I thought I would throw you a bone." Villain smiled and sat down in one of the chairs.
Hero glared at them at sat at their desk. Villain rifled through some of the papers.
"I also thought I could save you from this dreadfully boring job."
Hero snatched the papers from Villain. "I don't want to hear it."
"You sure?" Villain stood.
"Yes I'm-"
"Cause I could double your salary. And give you time to do whatever you want. Just under one condition."
Hero stood.
"You have to do one mission with me." Villain laughed. "And come live with me, but we can talk about that bit later."

Thought #235
Hero threw a chair at Villain. "Get out." They screamed at them with tears in their eyes.
"I'm not leaving you alone." Villain said catching the chair and setting it down.
"You already did." Hero said picking up another chair. "You left me to die."
They threw the chair at them again. Villain caught it and jumped forward.
They grabbed Hero's arms and pulled them close. "That wasn't me. Supervillain did that. They don't like how close we've gotten."
Hero pushed away from them. "I don't believe you. That's what you said last time."
They pushed Villain back again. "I don't believe you anymore."

Thought #234
Hero laid on their couch grabbing another tissue from the box by their head. The blew their nose into it and dropped it into the large pile by the couch.
Their phone started ringing again. They grabbed it and looked at the caller ID.
Villain. Again.
They denied the call and turned on a show. They coughed into their dirty sweatshirt and got comfy.
Their front door slammed open. Villain walked in angrily pushing the door back.
"Where were you? I robbed three banks hoping you would show up. But you..."
Villain's eyes landed on the pile of tissues.
"I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the fight." Hero said weekly trying to sit up.
Villain rushed towards them. "Don't be sorry." They sat Hero up and sat down on the couch next to them. They laid Hero back down on their lap and started rubbing Hero's back.
"What are we watching?" Villain said grabbing the remote.
