I made a (2nd) Terrarium!
Or would you call it a vivarium...?
Either way, it's plants in a glass. It's fun to make these and it's exciting to speculate which ones will thrive. And how it will develop in there over time..
This is my first one, a couple months old. It's a little murky but it's in good shape, with "new" plants popping up now and then.
Here's another angle for the new one..

So I saw the cat and dog mercs have you thought about bird mercs?
Also your art is amazing I love it
Thank you!
I have actually made bird mercs before, but that was like 3 ago and I don't think I've posted them.
I might do some more animal doodles eventually but I have some other tf2 fanart ideas in mind rn.

I like drawings huge posters with explosions in them, and I really enjoyed Eyezayar's Arthur becomes series.

Second analog piece: car ride with passing lights
oil and acrylic paint
I wanted the focus to be on the background so I did that part with vibrant oil paint! First time using that type of paint, took a while to get used to.
Progress shots and Inspo fotos i took below cut
Car parts are pretty much a foto study but the lights are improvised

Good luck with the uni! What course qre you planning to take? (No pressure if not comfortable answering!)
It's uhh fine arts. I wanted to get the basics of everything cause I couldn't decide.. I'd like to steer towards animation and design.
Edit: turns out that what I'm looking for is actually visual communication - oops!
Luckily most unis I looked at also offer that and I don't have to change the portfolio much, either.

This may not sound like much, but I just made my first analog art piece! Like, on paper!
And it's not even fanart!
I'm speedrunning my art portfolio right now to get into uni and that means experimenting with different media...
For this I used acrylic paint and then went ham with these 8 dollar glitter makers..
I don't really love how she looks but I'm glad the shiny effect worked!

I just watched Nimona and I don't think any movie has made me both laugh and cry that hard, ever.
Blown away, did not expect that at all. Watch it.

CARNAGE 💗
Progress shots
I made max first and then the rest, part of the reason that it was difficult to do the scene. It's also because I had like 4+ light sources in this and couldn't decide on a direction for the flow
It's beautifully chaotic 😅 max would approve right
