Idk who needs to hear this but bisexuality includes trans people. Not "it can" include trans people or it "sometimes" includes trans people. It does. It always has. Any bisexual who says there's doesn't is just a transphobe and doesn't fucking represent what we're about.

saying “you are a burden on society” is just such a weird framing of priorities It’s like saying “wow, think how much better gas mileage your car would get if you weren’t sitting in it” or “think how dry that umbrella would be if you weren’t holding it in between you and the rainstorm”. the things we create? they’re for us. they are meant to carry us. they are meant to protect us. we are meant to hold them up to keep us dry.

Here’s the thing about shows like South Park and Family Guy that make their money off of being edgy and offensive. They fundamentally reduce their viewers’ capacity for empathy. If I found a joke funny, and you found it offensive, you’re just too sensitive. This is directly related to the ride of the alt right and the election of trump. In this essay I will

One thing to keep an eye on in Europe is how the coronavirus has impacted Romani communities. Given the rise in authoritarianism in response to the pandemic, and disparities in income, sanitation, living facilities, and healthcare due to systemic anti-Romani racism, things have not been looking great. (warning: directly below the text for this article is a slideshow about the Romani genocide during the Holocaust which contains content that may be triggering to some). Here is another article on the situation.
I haven’t seen anything yet about fundraising to help these communities, but I figured it would be a good thing to raise awareness of this issue, since the problems faced by Romani people in Europe (and in the rest of the world, tbh) frequently go under reported.

i have never felt as mature as when i finally understood (through therapy) and internalized (through emotional work) that you cannot connect and communicate with some people no matter how kind, compassionate, understanding, articulate, eloquent, or smart you are, and that sometimes a person not listening to you does not reflect on your communication skills or ability to connect or straight up intelligence. in a way, it’s letting go of the belief that you have the power to make people understand you. communication is a two-way street, and needs two willing participants. some people are just walls, and it has been unbelievably helpful for my mental and emotional health to let it slide and know that it does not affect me or my self worth.

The concept that opposes universal basic income and other life necessities being received for free is completely based on the idea that humans are inherently lazy and won't produce anything of value outside of being forced to.
If this pandemic teaches us anything, please let it be that this is a boldfaced lie meant to keep the powerful in power by robbing the working class of access, energy, time and ability to reach their potential as human beings.
