Hob’s an absolute shit priest. There is no genuine worship or offerings involved, he’s really just forwarding thoughts and prayers like emails to Dream and getting the followers to make more and more feast days.

And Dream is 100% done with it. Lucienne’s Library is piling up with increasingly ridiculous submissions like “Dreamy boy, Morpheus my man, if you’re there Katie thinks Jason is cheating on her with Brittany so if you could confirm that he’s still having monogamous sex dreams about Katie that would be great, but personally I think he’s just gay and my money is on Trevor”, to “yo yo Murphy, calling in a favour as high priest - could you lightning POTUS’ brain to lower gas prices, I can’t afford to drive and have Starbucks thanks”

And maybe one day Morpheus just snaps, and just appears in front of Hob in a whirl of sand, furious, and growls: “I care not for the whims of the mortal realm, stop telling me about the Met Gala looks.”

So going off the idea that the New Inn is an accidental temple dedicated to Dream, it follows that Hob is an accidental high priest, yes?

I feel like there's... so much one could do with the idea of a deity (sort of) and his high priest. And a lot of it is not in my main wheelhouse as a writer so, you know, open season on it if anyone wants to play with it.

Netflix Morpheus has sexual tension with almost everyone he meets. It's hilarious.

Gotta give Tom Sturridge credit for doing a hell of an acting job in the premiere when his job is to give a convincing hour-long performance while 1) mute, 2) naked, 3) in a fishbowl 

Having never read the comics and coming into the series with fresh eyes, I literally gasped at this shot. Utterly beautiful. They perfectly cast this creature in an ethereal light. My favourite frame of the show
