Wait, wait, wait! It could be that we were wrong all this time!!
After listening to that heroic Episode closing music, something clicked in my mind.
A question first: Why would the music be heroic and uplifting if Ezra is being pulled to the Dark Side?
THAT IS NOT WHAT IS GOING ON THERE IN THAT FINAL SCENE!
EZRA’S EYES DID NOT BECOME YELLOW, THEY WERE RED BECAUSE THEY REFLECTED THE HOLOCRON’S GLOW
DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!?
EZRA FOUND OUT THE WAY TO UTILIZE HIS EMOTIONS TO OPEN THE SITH HOLOCRON, WITHOUT TAINT OF THE DARK SIDE.
And the FLASH when the Holocron opened… IT WAS WHITE.
Remember what else is white? And the meaning of?
AHSOKA’S LIGHTSABERS WERE WHITE… AND AHSOKA IS NOT ALIGNED TO THE JEDI NOR THE SITH.
Ezra did not get tempted again by the Dark Side.
That had happened in the temple, with Maul.
He had gone through the Dark Side… his Master had paid the price for him, ever being Ezra’s protection.
Ezra is now UNALIGNED, just like Ahsoka was!!

So what are your opinions on the crossguard lightsaber then? *Collin ignites his fathers dark red lightsaber to show her* You think they're cool? Ugly? Practical/impractical?
I think like most things it has its pros and cons. It lessens the threat of getting your had cut off. Which seems to be a problem with the Skywalker family tree. But it also increases the threat of hitting yourself.
