Incest ships can effect reality

So around the beginning of the year I was dating a guy we will call Joe. At first Joe seemed like a pretty chill guy. Him and I would hang out a lot and just enjoyed eachother being around. After this point, things started to go down a dark hole. I found out he liked incest porn and ships. At first I didn’t really know what to do with this kind of knowledge. Obviously I was grossed out. For some dumb reason, I didn’t break up with him for the simple reason of “It was fiction”.This is the reason I war all the time of why it’s ok to ship incest ships. After some time, he comes to me crying. As a caring girlfriend and shit, I obviously asked him what’s wrong. He admitted to having a crush on his SISTER and COUSIN. He admitted to watching them change often, watching them in the pool, spying on them in the shower, even touching himself to the thought of them, HIS OWN FAMILY doing things to him. He only apologized for thinKIng of other women. He thought NOTHING was wrong with liking his family members. I made sure to ask him if he even thought it was ok that they were his family. He said he didn’t think it was wrong. He said “if incest is wrong, why is incest porn and ships so popular?” Of course ended it then. I wasn’t about to be cheated on with his own family.

My point is, if people continue to normalize incest and make it popular, people are going to think it’s ok! The argument that “well it’s fiction, it’s not real” does nothing. Fiction can effect reality. Fiction can effect a person’s morals and belief, especially at a young age.
