I'm honestly pretty disappointed that Chat Blanc was not mentioned nor tackled in Ephemeral cause it was a good opportunity to do so. Mari had a lot of time to think over stuff when she found out Chat's identity. Instead of mulling over her feelings for Adrien and Chat Noir, she could've used the time to think of how Chat Blanc happened. Mari knows that this happened because Adrien found out her secret identity. She knows that it would lead to the destruction of the world so it really baffles me why she hasn't thought about it. Gabriel was quick to connect the dots just cause Adrien said M'lady during their late night call so how come Mari can't figure out that Chat Blanc can be related to Gabriel? I also wish she confronted Adrien about Chat Blanc and explain to him why she was hiding stuff all the time. It would've been a good opportunity for all misunderstandings to be cleared and for them to be more cautious as well. I mean, how could they been caught so quickly. They can hide going out on late nights but can't hide late nigh calls? Thomas, we had enough what if episodes its about time for the reveal to happen.

So since the spoiler that hawky will end up getting the miraculous came out I did some thinking and wanted to talk about it. The show always mentions that there would be a great price to pay if you merge the ladybug and cat miraculous. In the episode robustus, Master Fu states that if Markov where to wish that he becomes a real boy, someone will lose their humanity in exchange. What if the cost of Gabriel's happiness is Adrien's happiness? When Gabriel gets Emilie back, Adrien loses Ladybug. This will make Adrien break down and perhaps turn into a villain leading to the destruction of the world. Idk much about theories but this idea kept bugging me and I just had to rant about it lol
