Faery Symbols

Holey Stones

A stone with a naturally formed hole though it. When peered into with one eye closed, you may see through glamours and obtain faery sight. Carry as a connection to the fae, good luck, or as a protection stone.

The Faery Star

The seven points of the faery star represent earth, air, fire, water, above, below and within. It has been used for protection, dreams, opening portals to the faery world, and a symbol of faery land. Be careful what you mark with it as it is very powerful, and sacred to the fae.

The Faery Cross

Said to be faery tears that fell to the ground and crystallised into Staurolite at the news of Christ’s death in one version, and faery tears caused by the destruction of nature, and an omen that iron machines and weapons would be used against the earth in another version. Carry for protection, dreamwork, grounding and anxiety.

The Faery Triad

Oak, Mountain Ash and Hawthorn. Three sacred faery trees, these plants have strong magic qualities. When bound or grown together they form a powerful protection, and when separate they attract fae and may aid one in opening a door to faeryland. Carry as an amulet, or for faery blessings and connection with the fae. Plant by your home to invite fae and provide a strong ward.

Change is coming, whether you like it or not! Fate has stepped in and is now calling the shots, moving you into a critical, new phase of your life. You may be feeling like things are outside of your control, and they are. You can choose to complain or you can choose to adapt. There is comfort in uncertainty, even if the unknown feels intimidating. Everything happens for a reason, so have father that these changes are happening for your highest good. Life is full of cycles, and it’s impossible to have the good times without the bad times. Contrast is not only necessary but inevitable. Just because events feel like they are outside of your control, doesn’t mean you have to take a back seat. Remain active and avoid complacency. Trust that this is exactly where you need to be right now.

Savasana, the yoga pose of deep restoration, is the ultimate act of conscious surrender. Doing absolutely nothing is harder than it sounds, but that’s exactly what the Four of Swords is asking you to do! Facing challenges becomes easier when we give ourselves a moment to breathe. Use this time to recharge that engine, so that you have enough energy for the next challenge ahead. This period of pause is the perfect time to reflect and course correct if needed. Silence is more than welcome, as it gives you space to be present with your intuition and the messages it has for you. If you’re off your trajectory, use this space to align yourself back to your values and core purpose. Regenerate your power so that you can show up fully in your relationships, activities, and life.

Five of Cups (Future)

△ Disappointment, Setback, Perspective.

Is the glass half full or half empty? Disappointing setbacks have got you in a rut. This downfall is regressing you back to painful memories where expectations fell short. Bitter and broken, you are filled with resentment over what has happened to you, taking the loss personally. It’s okay to give yourself a moment to feel bad, but it is your decision how long you wallow in it. Forgive the people who have hurt you in the past - including yourself - for believing that they have the power to hurt you. Instead of thinking how much this sucks, reflect back on the lessons you learned. It may take some time for the sting to go away, so let yourself heal through this process. You’ll come out of it a much wiser human than when you started.

Serendipity

Essential Meaning: Opportunity allied with readiness; the awareness of synchronicity; luck and good fortune appearing as signs and symbols; a magical alignment of events.

The Oracle’s Message: You’ve stepped into alignment with the greater good, where your dreams and the collective dream resonate in exquisite harmony. Now is the time for luck and preparation to meet and create miracles that you could never have planned all by yourself. Keep in mind that you are a channel for providence right now, as a higher energy uses you as a force on behalf of the whole world. Your fortune becomes everyone’s fortune. Everything you bring into being now will leave a wondrous legacy for others in the future. Your service to the world is being supported at this time. Expect the unexpected. And smile, for Spirit loves you so very much.

Relationship Message: Spirit has a plan, and that plan is to place you in front of the right person at the right time. You have met or are about to meet someone vitally important to your journey, someone Spirit wants to bring into your life. Only Divine forces can plan this meeting - it is out of your hands. Pay attention to the signs Spirit presents.

Prosperity Message: You are in the right place at the right time. Be grateful, for the stars are aligned in your favour and fortune is smiling on you. Victory and success are yours. The choices you have made in the past have prepared you for the opportunities now before you. This is your lucky moment. The timing is perfect.

Protection Message: Perhaps you felt almost certain that serendipitous events were meant to lead to something better. It was supposed to the perfect business, or that person you gave your heart to was supposed to be “the one” - yet it all fell apart! Consider this: Sometimes synchronicity and serendipity come together to lead you directly into difficulties in order to deliver an important lesson you need to learn before you hit the jackpot. Don’t get caught up in the drama of disappointment. There really is a silver lining in this cloud. Spirit always knows what you need and is guiding you to where you are meant to go. Orphaned

Essential Meaning: A sense of loss; an identity crisis; recognizing that you don’t fit in; the need to belong; uncertainty about your place.

The Oracle’s Message: We were all meant to have connections with other people - within our families, society, and the larger culture. No man is an island, and it’s important to recognize when being “a part of” rather than “separate form” is essential to your well-being. The issue at hand is the need to find where you fit. Be true to your core truths and values. Perhaps you no longer identify with a group or community the way you did before and nee to find a new situation. You might be feeling a deep sense of loss or confusion. Address the need for belonging, and know that you will find your place with others of like mind and spirit. It’s okay to let go of pressure to fit in. Not everyone will understand you. It’s time to move on.

Relationship Message: As you shift and evolve and commit to your own growth, you long for support but may be disappointed and hurt by others who are not providing what you feel you deserve. Perhaps you are drifting away from this relationship because you’re in a different stage of personal growth. Perhaps you are in a new relationship and discovering that you don’t share the same values and beliefs, so you feel left out, unable to get to that intimate place of safety and belonging. Take heart, as Spirit knows you and loves you and will steer you in the direction of those who accept you as you are without artifice or agenda. Don’t compromise yourself to belong. It won’t be worth the price.

Prosperity Message: This card reminds you that you can’t be all things to all people. You are not going to be popular with everyone, and that has to be okay with you. Be clear about your mission, your brand, your work persona, and your contribution to the world, as these must be based on what you authentically have to offer, m not something you think will sell or you perceive “they” may want. You will attract abundance by being completely yourself. Stay in your own lane. That’s where you will shine and where you’ll experience prosperity.

Protection Message: The shadow side of this card speaks to the essence of abandonment. Perhaps you feel a need to remain apart because intimacy is to threatening. It also warns against creating inappropriate family structures in order to conceal old wounds. It’s time to address the unhealthy alliances you’ve formed and make a decision to heal the past. You will not be abandoned by the world if you claim yourself as whole. Not all relationships are dysfunctional, and not all of them will disappoint you. Don’t abandon yourself. You can connect to others in a healthy way once you recognize your patterns and consciously choose to interrupt them. Life wants to love you. Let it.
