Hey! My name's Blaine Anderson and I'm currently a sophomore junior at Berklee College in Boston, majoring in professional music. It's definitely a challenge, especially as that graduation day gets closer and closer, but I've loved every second of being here.
I love living here in Boston, it's such a beautiful city. Your New Yorks and your LAs are nice, but Boston is totally where it's at.
I'm a Top 40s enthusiast but I try to appreciate all kinds of music (I really love anything from The Temptations to The Police, from Broadway to Lady Gaga). Music is definitely a big part of my life; I play piano as well as singing and dancing. I love bowties and a good cup of coffee. I'm also a big fan of one Ms. Katy Perry, the magical world of Disney, and this one wizard you might know by the name of Harry Potter.
Anyway, that's me! Please don't be a stranger! I'm very friendly and love meeting new people :)

I might be extremely close to just… booking a trip. These beach pictures are killing meeeeeeee. (Rachel surprised me with a trip to NYC. I can surprise her with a trip to Florida, right? Totally the same thing, right?) I just can’t get Key West out of my mind. The beaches, the drinks, the laid back atmosphere, the sunshine, the bungalows and friendly faces…
And I could rent a private bungalow with beach access. Leave all the doors open and feel the sea breeze… (Clothing would always be optional.)
Or going into downtown Key West is always an option. Sloppy Joe’s Bar and the Hog’s Breath Saloon. Maybe we could luck out and run into Jimmy Buffett and put on a group rendition of “Cheeseburger in Paradise.”
Oh how I want to go. I need it in my life. Lying on the beach with my wife, drinking fruity drinks and Coronas and watching the boys making fools of themselves on surfboards and bodyboards and burying Puck in the sand after he passes out falls asleep in the sun…

Dear self,
Sometime next week I need to clean out some things. I've put it off long enough and there's notebooks from the semester and semester before all over the place. It's time to go through my little routine of going through all my school crap and trashing what I won't need ever again.
Ugh. I hate cleaning.
I have to do it though. I'll just employ Hunter to help me. He'll do it (especially if kissing's involved), but he can't be too distracting or that defeats the purpose.

Happy Mother’s Day~
I called my mom and wished her a happy mothers day since I couldn't actually come home or anything. I sent her some flowers and I think she liked them (of course she did, let's be real)...anyway, to all the moms out there, we literally wouldn't be here without you and that alone deserves more than a little 'thanks'.
