this might be a controversial take but i notice whenever outsiders hate on mcyt, fans will often clap back with "actually this specific youtuber has nothing to do with dream and thus is unproblematic." and like. i get wanting to distance yourself from creators you dont like. but i think its a bad idea to keep working in the framework that theres a moral aspect to watching some guy playing minecraft? everybody can be revealed to be a shithead, from your favourite streamer to the showrunners of your favourite show. there is rlly no point in trying to bank on 'my guy is the good one' when i think the real point should be 'why do you care what other people enjoy' ykno.
