Anyone else thinks Gail Abernathy's name is funny because of Hunger Games characters?
(I'm talking about Gail Abernathy from Pitch Perfect, btw.)
I've found it funny for years. Like, it's Elizabeth Banks' character and the last name is Abernathy, Hayffie shipper, anyone?
Then you have the first name Gail. Gale is often laughed at for having an older woman's name. There you have it, a middle-aged woman character with a name that's virtually identical to his.
It could be a pure coincidence. I just find it funny AF. Two birds with one stone, Hayffie ship AND Gale slander at the same time, too good.

i love that woody harrelson and elizabeth banks got the memo on effie and haymitch being a thing even before mockingjay. like haymitch literally tells katniss he likes her dress and hates effie鈥檚 and elizabeth just throws her whole ass into looking like she wants to shove him against a wall and show him how good that dress looks on his floor.
