Sul sul!
It's time to get nostalgic.
With this update of my Sims (2000) world, you can revisit every lot and every household from the Sims 1 in an open world experience in the Sims 3! This addition adds the Magic Town and Vacation Island area's, making this a complete Sims 1 world, that includes every Sims 1 neighborhood.
I apologize for the long delay in releases this update for this Sims 3 world. My real life has gotten very hectic, so it's been hard to make time for this project. I hope it was worth the wait and that you'll enjoy reliving the Sims 1 in this Sims 3 world.

This world was made with every Sims 3 expansion pack (except for Into The Future), in addition the the High End Loft and Town Life stuff packs. You can install the world even if you do not own all of these packs. But the save file (which includes all of the premade sims, ghosts and some fixes) can only be played if you have all of these packs installed.
To everyone who has installed and played the previous version of my Sims (2000) world: to install this version, you'll need to uninstall the old one. If you have an active save file with the previous (1st) version of this world, please backup any households and builds you want to save to your library. Because that save file will probably become unplayable after installing the updated world file.
I have one little request… If you know any other long time simmers, please share this project with them. I would love it if as many people as possible get a chance to enjoy this nostalgic experience <3
Also, if you enjoy setting up high quality screenshots, I'd love to see them and use them to promote this world.

Sul Sul! I'm stoked about the TS1 world! Been playing TS1 and TS2 since 2006, Magic Town would be so much fun to play in as a vamp, witch, or fairy. Not rushing you! Just wanted you to know there's fanfare!

Yaaay! The houses are looking great!
Spending TS2's birthday remaking TS1 houses in @philosimy's excellent Old Town neighbourhood! (Seriously, it's beautifully made.) Also still have no idea what I'm doing with Reshade, but tried making a sort of TS1-ish preset that relies a lot on posterize and temperature effects.

Sul sul! I'm looking for beta testers to hunt after (routing) issues and such in my complete Sims 1 to Sims 3 world. I have finished the Magic Town and Vacation Island parts of the world, and I want this release of it to be perfect! Last release turned out to have some problem areas, and I don't want that to happen again. If you're interested, please let me know in a DM.

Hello :) I found your old town neighborhood remake and I was wondering what the neighborhood in the back was, and I absolutely shrieked when I realized it was magic town! Im deleting my shopping area and using this!
Ah that's great haha! Actually I have just now finished the rest of the lots (for Magic Town and Vacation Island too), and am planning on releasing the complete version of the world soon!

Hello! I downloaded your The Sims (2000) for my sims 3 game and really like the world but just realized that I don’t have any bridges to connect the neighborhoods :/ do you know why this is? And is there anything I can do to get the bridges so my sims can drive back and forth between the neighborhoods?
Hey! That would be because you're missing the required EP's. I know the bridges used around the Sim Lane area are from World Adventures, and if I remember correctly the other two are from Ambitions and Night Life. If you have those packs installed, the bridges should be showing up.

Hey everyone, I made a little addition for my Sims 1 world.
I noticed that tombstones had lost their ghosts when I placed them in CAW. So I uploaded a version of the Goth family home that does have ghosts, for the whole Sims 1 Goth family experience!
Just place this file (SFS) in your library folder, move out the Goth family from their home, demolish it, place this house there instead, and move the Goths back in.
I'll probably be using this post to list all small updates I add in the future.

Hello Simmers, the moment is finally here. This is the first official release of my The Sims (2000) to Sims 3 world.
Revisit all lots and neighborhoods from The Sims base game, Hot Date, Unleashed and Superstar in an open-world experience in the Sims 3!
If you enjoy my creations, please consider helping me save for a new laptop on Ko-fi ❤️
Let’s get to the good part. You can download this Sims 3 world here. Just double-click the file and the Sims 3 launcher will open that will allow you to install it.
To build this world I used all Expansion packs except for Into The Future. Stuff pack wise I only used High End Loft Stuff and Town Life Stuff.
You’ll find that by default this world is not populated, that is because the Sims 3 Create A World tool (CAW) does not support adding households. So to get a fully populated Sims 1 world, we need to do a little workaround. There are 2 options:
You can download all of the households here and place them into their houses in Edit World mode in the Sims 3. Just place these .package files in your Sims 3/library folder.
Install the populated save file. Just unzip and place these in your sims 3/saves folder.
I would really like to hear it if you run into an issues with the world file, so that I can fix them! Let's be in touch 😉
Follow me to be the first to download the Complete version of the Sims 1 to Sims 3 world in the future, which will also include all lots from The Sims Vacation and Makin’ Magic expansion packs!

How do you like all of these Sims 1 households?
I think I like the roomies the most, because I could remake their outfits quite well. And Mama Hick turned in her curlers for a pair of glitzy glasses, which seems quite fitting haha. All in all I find choosing the right hair the biggest challenge. Basically for all of them except Bob XD.

Just a little update that things are going well with my Sims 1 to Sims 3 world project! :)
I just reached a new milestone as the world is fully populated.
All that’s left for me to do before a first official release is find & fix routing issues and build some Sims 3 specific community buildings, like a fire station.

The past months I have been working on a very exciting project. I made a world for the Sims 3 that has all neighborhoods from the Sims 1 included! When it is done it will basically be open-world Sims 1!
I cannot wait to actually play in it. But for now I have still got a lot of building to do.
I have shared a WIP version of the world file earlier this month, so that you can check out the general plan. Who knows, if you install it you might run into some issues with it, which will be very good for me to know! You can download it here. A little note, this version only has the Studio Town lots in it.
I will do an ‘official’ release of this Sims 3 world when I have completed all lots from Sim Lane, Old Town, Downtown and Studio Town. (36/50 lots have been built so far)
A final version that also includes all lots from Vacation Island and Magic Town will be released later on.
I play the Sims on a pretty old laptop and my visuals specs are very low. If you want to help me with taking some pretty screenshots of this world, please let me know! I could definitely use the help!
Another subject I could use help with is populating the world. I cannot make a single sim in CAS without the game crashing. That makes it very difficult for me to make a lively populated world. If you’re really into the Sims 1 and CAS and you’re interested in helping me out, please let me know! <3

This loveseat was one of my favourites from The Sims 1, and thanks to @doctorsimcraft who remade them for The Sims 4, now they are possible in The Sims 3 too! In this set are included sofa, loveseat and armchair. They are recolorable, and they have same price as in original game. Enjoy them like I do! All credits goes to @doctorsimcraft who remade them and I just used to convert it to The Sims 3!
