Future Translation & Documentary Projects
Hey guys, just touching base on the various things in the works.
I know I've way missed the original timeframe I gave for the translation of the 60s French radio drama but it is still coming, in fact it's been in a complete state for some time just waiting for me to give it a final once over before deciding on releasing it now or later. There's many reasons for this, not least of all just the way my brain tends to bounce around projects and of course being busy with work as well. But I'm going to see if we can hopefully release it in the near future.
As far as other ongoing projects, nothing that has been previously announced (and indeed, things that haven't yet been announced either...) are not cancelled, just paused. There are a few things that have just initiated that I am not ready to talk about just yet, but hopefully things move along enough that I feel comfortable doing so in the near future.

They've been found, thank you to everyone who signal boosted!
Hey guys, a friend of mine reached out to me to ask me to signal boost this: A friend of theirs named Jace Walsh in Alpine, Wyoming is looking for their family; his wife is in the midst of a mental health crisis, and took their two daughters and their two dogs, and left on February 23rd. They haven't been heard from since, by anyone, including her family and friends. Please reblog so if anyone has any information they can come forward. Thank you.

El Fantasma de la Opereta (1955) is now available subbed from the Phantom Retrospective channel.
Please note that this isn't a Phantom Retrospective original translation. Not to be confused with the 1960 Mexican film of the same name starring Tin-Tan.

If anyone wanted to do that I'd certainly be willing to host and promote it!
Now as the final Broadway show is starting I'd like to make an announcement. This was intended to be a short video but something evidently went wrong when exporting the audio and I didn't have time to re-record.
I wanted to address the Broadway closure not only for its historical importance but because of how much it has influenced the new push for new content for PR. I felt that Phantom fans should have stuff to look forward to in this sad time. But not only have I stepped up to try and fill this whole, others have as well. Not only have I reached out to people to help with translation but strangers have reached out to me to help. To both groups: thank you so much. You know who you are. And not only that, the response to these new efforts has been extremely gratifying. I just wanted to address the community in general: you guys rock.
Anywho: In this time of great sadness it is my great pleasure to announce that my friend Fantopyr (along with OpenAI's Whisper) has assisted me with translating the first known French adaptation: a 1964 radio drama! It should release sometime next month. Between now and then I'd like to edit a trailer like with Song at Midnight, or failing that, an excerpt as a preview with a release date. In addition to that, though it isn't a PR translation, I will be uploading a copy of the 1955 Argentinian El Fantasma de la Opereta this week with English subtitles as one turned up recently.

The first ever Phantom Retrospective documentary is here! This one is on the 1916 lost film Das Phantom der Oper and includes a detailed synopsis.
It is the first of hopefully many to come. Feel free to suggest topics for other videos, though I am avoiding ALW topics for the foreseeable future - the goal is to do things not covered by professional documentaries.
On a different subject, I do not like to do this but we are in the process of getting our things moved to a new house and the taxes my parents owe are no small amount... five figures (USD). And that's on top of my personal debt. So I am accepting donations. I only have PayPal currently but I can get Zell or Venmo or whatever else if necessary. No amoumt is too small, if interested please DM.
