reading fics where enjolras is super loud and needs to be told to stfu every five seconds is so funny to me because like. in canon he literally just sits in the corner and listens to his friends talk. and when he DOES choose to speak, everybody shuts up and listens because nobody has a way with words like he does. enjolras is so quiet and thoughtful and he knows what he wants to say and when others need to hear it. enjolras is in control of every single aspect of his life, especially his words.
