Favourite Bucktommy headcanons that have kept me going in these terrible 9 days without an episode

Buck is Tommy's first serious relationship after a bad breakup he had a few years ago and he's just as nervous about all this as Buck is

Buck really likes the scar over Tommy's ribs. He kisses it when they cuddle at night, he traces his fingertips over it and loves that he can feel it through Tommy's shirts

Tommy always lets Buck know when he's landed safely and Buck always lets Tommy know when they've gotten back to the station safely. They both know the danger of their jobs and check in regularly with one another

Tommy cannot believe how little Buck knows about pop culture and the first few times he stays over at Buck's place he brings DVDs of his favourite movies. Buck watches them because Tommy plays with his hair while they watch and he'll do anything to have Tommy's arms around him. When Buck starts quoting the movies at work, Tommy gets a barrage of texts from Chimney asking him what his secret is (Tommy does not mention there's often oral sex involved)

They got 5 minutes into Muay Thai lessons before they realised it was never going to work because Buck kept kissing Tommy to distract him and Tommy kept letting him

The first night they spend together, Buck spends most of the night awake because he's not used to someone in his bed, and he realises that he really fucking loves how Tommy twitches in his sleep and makes small noises when he's having a nightmare (he has those fairly regularly)

Tommy tried calling him "Buck" once and they both cringed and have never tried it again since

Buck loves calling Tommy pet names and he tries them all out. Most are met with a smirk or a laugh but there are a few that Tommy's eyes soften at. Buck is also the only person that's allowed to call him "Tom", or "Thomas" when he's being a little shit

Buck sends Tommy instagram reels and tiktoks all the time. Tommy didn't have either app until they started dating and downloaded them specifically for Buck. Now he's more addicted to them than Buck is

Buck never realised how easy a relationship could be until he met Tommy

So I haven’t talked about this on main before, but the situation in South Gaza has gotten so horrifying that I’m p much throwing caution to the wind to desperately plead for eyes on this. I’m raising awareness about stories from activists in Gaza right now, including one of our own.

My lovely, wonderful friend Swin (aka tumblr user @combaticon) was deployed as a volunteer medic to a Gaza hospital on the 9th.

When the bloodshed started, she heard they needed extra hands in Gaza, she spoke Arabic and had the training, and she went.

I’ve been in contact with her throughout. She’s so incredibly brave it takes my breath away. My heart bleeds for these children she’s taking care of and how resilient they are is… astonishing.

Swin and these poor people have been under siege for so long, and they’re in desperate need of critical supplies. They have to filter water through their clothes, and it’s getting dangerously cold. Foods finally been getting through, but there’s not enough blankets and jackets to go around and there’s no fuel for the generators.

Their comrades in the West Bank have been completely pushed out by settler thugs. It’s incredibly unsafe to even be doing humanitarian work for Palestinians. Remember this the next time a Zionist tells you they’re doing this to ‘feel safe’. The IOF is arming lynch mobs.

On a personal note, this has been the most gut-wrenching week of my life. Every day when I wake up without a text from her I feel so much fear. I fight back the grief but I don’t know how to help or what to do. It’s terrifying.

Swin has asked for nothing, absolutely nothing other than something it can show the people around it to make them feel like they’re not going to be abandoned. To make sure they’re not forgotten in some pit praying Rafah opens before Israel decides to slaughter them all.

Today was a bad day. She’s alive but beyond worrying about her privacy now; she’s asked me to share this and to beg that we not lose steam and forget about them. Please share this, and please keep being fucking annoying and loud and digging your heels in with fury because we cannot let these people die silently.

Okay so for what it’s worth

Neil Gaiman has said that season 2 is not the story he and Terry had plotted out 20 years ago, season 2 is the bridge that needed to be there to fill in the gaps between season 1 and season 3

So in other words. Season 2 is a bridge season. Season 3 is the season with actual meat in it

So we better work hard to get that season 3. I swear to god Amazon. Pay your fucking writers

The more I sit with Good Omens, and I have to watch it again from the beginning of series one, the more the ending makes sense

Yes I believe that Aziraphale is being manipulated and being deliberately separated from Crowley because they are too powerful together

Yes I think what he said and how he said it was cruel

BUT

Of course Aziraphale is going to take this chance

Aziraphale is always going to do what he thinks is right even if he has to do it alone

1. He gives away his sword in the garden before he even meets Crowley again

2. He was fully ready and willing to save Job's children himself and then walk straight into hell with his head held high

3. When the original plan to stop the apocalypse went tits up and Crowley said "let's run away together" he said no. Not because he was just going to go along with the war but because he was going to keep trying

This is what he does

That's what made Crowley fall for him in the first place!

Aziraphale stays and he tries to do what he personally believes is right and if he fails he's willing to accept the consequences no matter how dire

And I think even if he had known what Gabriel said at "his" execution he still would have helped him

Because that's the right thing to do

And I hate how he went about it and I hate how he hurt Crowley

But of course he made the choices he did

If he made any other choice he wouldn't be the Angel Crowley fell in love with

joining the good omens 2 war on the side of good omens 2. too many fans clearly care more about the fanfiction in your heads than the actual story about condemning institutionalised false dichotomies of moral absolutism that Good Omens has ALWAYS been about. of course, there are legitimate critiques you can level at the season, but "Crowley and Aziraphale didn't get my uwu fanfic happy ending" isn't a reasonable critique. Are you allowed to feel that way? Sure, but that doesn't make it a reasonable critique 1) because it's clearly not the end of the story itself and 2) if they had gotten together, the entire thematic core of Good Omens would have been completely contradicted. Begging people to stop looking at stories through the lense of shipping. You're doing a huge disservice to your own enjoyment as well as the people who take years out of their lives to actually craft the things you like.
