There was a flock of wild turkeys in our neighbour's yard yesterday. This is the first time in over thirty-five years that I have seen them in our neighbourhood. Last week I saw a hawk, which was unusual too.

The eclipse in Montreal at around 3 p.m.... we watched from the river's edge in Lachine. My photos from my cellphone don't capture the beauty of what we experienced. I was most surprised by the temperature dropping so quickly as it got dark.
