(Nearly) all of my stained glass since I started in...Maaaaarch I think? I'm getting better at cutting. And soldering. I do love this medium; it's very tactile in that way my hands enjoy. I tend to pick things up quickly that are based in understanding the medium via touch. Skinning, hide tanning, taxidermy, sculpture, carving, wood working when you have the right tools, etc. As you can see things are escalating quickly lol.

If you buy the sticker sheet be sure to pick the MEDIUM size so the kiss cuts are far enough apart. Medium size sticker sheet makes for 8 bird stickers about 2" on the long side apiece; the large is roughly 8x3" stickers and so on. You can also get them individually or on a shirt if you like! Redbubble is my current solution for merch as A) I cannot afford to guess what's popular and B) cannot store the sheer variety of things that RB can make. Thankfully I've bought from them many times both my art and other artists and the quality is VERY nice. ALWAYS check the internet for RB coupons too; they do 20-30% off regularly. I have done them in the past! They're one of the pendants that will be brought back into rotation as I redo my molds. I've gotten some new equipment since I last made these and I'm hopeful I'll be able to pull finer detail from the mold.

Some of these are sold, some of them aren't, but here's a small taste of what I've been working on since 2017. I am dusting off Tumblr and am preparing to mold some new skull and bone models so keep an eye out for announcements about the next pewter drop! You can also sign up for a simple mailing list on my website; it's literally a single image spread that shows up from the studio email advertising what's coming, prices, and drop time. That might be easier for some!

The Werner Herzog documentary “Cave of Forgotten Dreams” on France’s spectacular Chauvet cave was a formative experience. I connect with that time in history, society, and art like no other. I made this piece in the spirit of the Panel of the Lions; it’s one of very few depictions of predators in Stone Age art and it captures cave lions as they intrinsically were rather than as some human symbolism. After creating the 3 dimensional rock surface I lit quite a few candles and worked with charcoal, chalk, and conte crayon in the dark. Santa is on strike due to global warming.  All presents this year will be delivered by Sasha the Christmas Tiger.  Milk and cookies may not be sufficient.

I'm working on making some thematically matching sets; someone requested my jawbones as earrings so you can get those now. Jewelry for stretched ears is in the fabrication process still. Stud earrings are being prototyped with the lighter weight designs. Going to also be experimenting with bracelets soon; a few things have good promise for that including bones, teeth, leaves, and maybe some all new things.

Three new designs are now available from Paleo Panthera; the coelacanth, cave lion paw, and Woman of Willendorf inspired femininity figure. All are sculpted originals that are molded, cast, worked, and buffed by hand. Cast in fine Britannia alloy.

I have been VERY busy and will probably stay busy from now until death. Or at least it feels like it.  I welcome species requests; I’ll be vending at Furry Weekend Atlanta this year and want everyone to be able to find their special representation when they go.

I have some big plans for these coyote foot bones; they have a lot of potential both on their own and in much bigger pieces. The animal the originals came from was a roadkill salvage for the museum studio I moonlight at; almost a decade later he’s still helping me turn out art.

I go out in the field fairly often to exercise, take product photos, take in inspiration, find interesting specimens for molding, and in general to remember to document my days as time is fleeting. I'd love to be one of those people that has nothing but breathtaking pictures of their beautiful life with their beautiful family, but nothing in my life remotely resembles something dignified. ;) This is Oberon my service dog; he goes literally everywhere with me so I can maintain my independence and my health. I usually only vest him for public access so he gets to work "undercover" when we're in wilderness areas. He's a stunning dog on so many levels and is the pride of my life, but unfortunately...yeah this is pretty much what several hundred photos of him look like. It's not for lack of obedience; it seems that my camera produces a derp field whenever it is turned on!

Elk (or red deer for Europeans) pendant styled after paleolithic French cave art. These are a lot harder to design than you might think; simplicity does not equal easy. This particular design is about the size of a US quarter and twice as thick in jewelry grade Britannia lead free pewter. It blends in easily whatever your fashion or time period. www.PaleoPanthera.com
