I made some fan art for a pretty cute kitty that gave me some inspiration. Check out the tamagotchi style app called MewSim. I downloaded it the other day and think it’s super cute.

My step daughter loves her some Animal Jam. Both patterns were found online. I made the fox, she made the deer.

King Zora from A Link to the Past. I am very happy with this one, I did not copy a perler pattern for this one. I just used an image from the game. I feel like it is my best ironing job so far as well.

So, some mistakes were made. My step son loves mine craft, so I thought I would make him his favorite item from tumble mode. It was going well, until I ironed it. Note to self, small items only need a quick iron (the other side looks worse).

Zelda and Link from A Link to the Past. Non-traditional Link holding a blue potion, in the painting he will be next to the witch, so even though he never holds one it seemed fitting.

The witch from Legend of Zelda, Link to the Past. She started this whole thing. My fiance picked up a large print of a landscape painting at goodwill because he thought it was creepy. There is a cabin in it, he said it reminded him of an old witches cabin in the middle of the woods. I saw some of the perler 8 bit bead art placed on paintings and thought it looks like a a lot of fun. A light bulb went off. I wanted to put the with with her cabin. The only problem is now I can’t stop.

My derpy chest. I figured “hey, that’s a simple shape. I bet I should iron that first for some easy practice.” This chest inspired by Legend of Zelda, Link to the Past was the very first thing I ironded. Lessons were learned. I was doing the tape technique I had seen online. Some of the beads moved around and separated from the rest main section. I managed to get them connected back, but the damage was done. It totally warped.

It all started with a late night trip to Joanns and a barrel of beads.
