hey i鈥檓 a few years late to the party with probably a really obvious observation but
(Friend Currently Playing Outer Wilds you鈥檙e not here yet skip this post)
The quantum shards on the different planets are because of Dark Bramble, aren鈥檛 they
Planet 5 is infected-> Dark Bramble breaks it into pieces-> no one is around or observing to see the Quantum Moon, which gets hit directly by the explosion-> shards break off the moon-> because no one鈥檚 around to observe the moon isn鈥檛 locked into any one spot and shards break off at all locations, except the just broken Dark Bramble-> you have quantum shards from the moon on all the planets
that also explains why there鈥檚 two separate shards on Timber Hearth- two pieces of debris hit
