Our darling friend danced with the leaves
And they waltzed to Nature’s tune.
Its tiny paws and fuzzy sleeves
Conducted ballad ‘neath the Moon.
So happy was our tiny critter
To do nothing but exist,
And it promised on that cosmic glitter
To let no moment pass unkissed.

the animation is quite messy, but it functions lol. drawing this has made me quite nostalgic for fall/autumn. winter is my favorite season, but fall is definitely a close second. time to start strategizing halloween costumes!

‘Twas a dark and starry night,
That eve of crisp mid-fall,
Where our World was cradled in celestial light
Wrapped in Mother Nature’s shawl.
Soft hushed winds sifted through the trees,
Leaf confetti strewn about,
Cinnamon spice flit on the breeze,
Autumn freckles specked throughout.
A pleasant present from the Earth
Was that evening blossom
And who loved Her with all life’s worth
More than our dear Opossum?
