It’s been awhile since I posted, but I’m here! Today was a celebration of Jesus Christs Resurrection and today was so beautiful. Spending time with family and friends was awesome today at church. The children put on a great skit, as they danced and sang several songs, definitely a great day. “JESUS IS ALIVE”
So, let’s get into this vintage plaid dress I have on, I purchased it about 4 years ago from my friend’s Boutique store. This was my 2nd time wearing and I was still hoping that it would fit, and knowing that I was smaller when I purchased it. As you see it still fits YAY lol! I’m so glad it did because I haven’t purchased anything new. The best part is that it’s Free Flowing!!
I look like a Easter egg right?
The colors are vibrant as I was glad That I was fortunate enough to come across this dress to wear today. Just in time for this special holiday. I almost forgot about these SHOES, can’t forget these beauties. They are called Gwen from @shoedazzle-blog-blog. They went perfect with everything link is posted below.
I’m not the type to wear black and definitely not Pink, but when I do it has to Catch my Eye! So here I go all Pretty in Pink!
I love this convertible bag from JustFab, it can be worn on your shoulder or around your waist. I was excited to get this bag because it was only $15. I snatched this bag and 5 more other ones from their bag Sale. This bag is regular $34.95 and also comes in Black.
I also wore this jumper as a head wrap!

We are here on the last day of 2018, this year has been filled with so many opportunities along with meeting new people. Speaking of meeting new people, about a week and a half ago on December 21, I had the opportunity to attend a Fashion Launch Party held by Fashion Designer Andrew Wolfe for his clothing line called Prototype, which these pieces are indeed prototypes. Instead of throwing these pieces away, he wanted to showcase them to show you his process by showing the first steps of his designes. This line is a urban casual line for every man that is looking for an unique look to add to their wardrobe.
Andrew Wolfe with Customer
Designer Andrew Wolfe is an artist and a visionary, who combined his artistic skills along with his sewing skills in one to create this Prototype Line. These looks show different textures of his line, that stand out from your usual men’s clothing line currently out today. Andrew’s designs are very unique and one of a kind with affordable prices. Be sure to follow him to stay up to date with his new clothing line coming soon called ADORE.

Check out these cool ear buds from @_stylaga where I had the opportunity to try them. The quality, sound is high definition, the style is nice with these crystals in your ear that goes with any personality. Not the mention the carrying case is awesome.
New York Fashion Week Wow! All the years I wanted to go to I finally got the chance to go. I was suppose to go last year but due to unforeseen conditions I had to cancel those plans. This year I made it my business to come with my photographer/ brother McKinley Walker Jr. of Gmaxx Photography said ok let’s go and I also brought along my girl Shimeka aka Blue. I only went for the weekend starting up fashion week but it was an exciting weekend.
First event we attended was the hiTechMODA ~~ Meet Our Designers, VIP Cocktail Networking and Panel were I met a few people in the industry. The second event I attended was the HiTech Moda Fashion Show, where they showcased 14 designers who, by which, made some type of statement in the vision they wanted to show the world. There was even the young 13 year old Designer Egypt Ufele CEO of Chubiiline that did her thing with all of her designs, a very talented young lady. Another designer that really caught my attention was Latiya Gholar of American Umma. Now, I’ve seen some different things showcased on the runway, but this is, by far, the most unique out the box way to showcase and I enjoyed it. There was also a Fashion design contest winner and runner ups as part of Tailor Nova. (Winner Jakia Nur, Runner ups were The Elegant Executive Curve and Kenjulia Anderson).
Fashion Do & Don’t
After this show I saw a guest in their outfit that made a fashion statement “Do”. I also saw another guest at a different show that was a fashion statement “Don’t”. It very was exciting to see some of Models in HiTechMODA and other shows in NY that are from VA doing their thing making their dreams come true. Below are pictures of my journey and some of my fashions during the weekend along with a Photoshoot with Blue and myself taken by GMaxx Photography.
Listed Below are all the 14 designers in order of Video along with one particular designer I loved in Society Week Fashion Show that I attended as well. That designer was Michael Lombard dope dope dope fashions.
This quote is so true. People get so caught up in all these brand name clothing and going broke. When you can take something old and make it look like it cost just as much as that Big name brand that your chasing. I never been caught up and wanting that Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Vuitton or that Chanel bag. Just wasn’t raised like that.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s nothing wrong with these items but don’t go broke trying to keep up with the Jones’s because they are broke. Trust me I would love to get some of these items but I’m all about living for what I have in my pockets! I’m not about trying to impress others with some high end garments, but will impress you with inexpensive pieces with my STYLE.
I will walk into a store and go to that sale and clearance rack in a minute. Just like these checkered black & white high waist pants from Rue21 for $9. I love a awesome deal and can find some big name brand items mentioned before in a Thrift Store with tags on them as well. So brands are great for the right price at your local Thrift Store 😀. This entire outfit is under $50!

I always love a good floral pattern and gravitated to this dress when I received the choices to pick. Normally, I don’t go to black anything unless it has something that catches my eye like this Easy Midi Dress from @justfabonline . The floral print is what caught my attention. So styling this dress I really had fun with it and so can you. This dress can be very versatile. So the day I wore this dress, I wore it as a dress and the belt I tied in the back versus around my waist just to pull the material closer to my body.
This gave the dress more of a slimmer more fitted look and a little detail in the back. For the second way that I wore this dress for my photo shoot, I threw on a pair of jean shorts a white lace body suit and wore the dress open for that flowing layered look. I also added the Clear Belt Crossbody bag to give it that fun casual look.
I just love how both brands Shoedazzle and JustFab brought out this retro look to this modern day time of a purse and belt all in one. Yes it is adjustable so it will keep your pants up or just wear it hanging around your waist. This Floral Midi is comfortable, light weight and True to Size (TTS). To complete my fun look for both ways I added this colorful necklace, scarf and these Itzell heels. So step out and be bold and get a little floral print into your wardrobe.

All Wrapped Up (Shoedazzle Review) Yes I was that, all wrapped up. This blouse had me going through the motions lol. But, it’s a cute top but I don’t see myself wearing it again, just because I kept tugging and pulling on it all day to not show my bra. It is true to size though. If you have big boobs I don’t recommend this Top at all. I love the print and the color of this blouse, I did get a few compliments on it and how I put all the colors together. You can tie the wrap blouse a few ways. You can see in one picture I have it wrapped around me and another I have it tied on the side. I like it tied on side better only because it stayed on me better then wrapped around and tied in back. Now the shoes I’m wearing with it I love, these rose gold Jenessa heels added a touch of classy to the sassy of the top. The studs really made this shoe stand out.
