Today we were scheduled to make a presentation to some government representatives.
They were one hour and five minutes late. ONE HOUR.
They did not apologise nor did they give an explanation.
(Though they did make a reference to having had a big lunch........)
Is this how people who are supposed to represent such a large group of individuals should behave? What kind of example are they trying to set???

To all who seem to take glee in Ronaldo's sadness, take a second to consider why you are doing that.
These are real people in the real world. Cristiano Ronaldo is a good person, he is a hard worker, he worked very hard to get to where he is now, it was not simply given to him, and people being this ungrateful to him upsets me so much.
It's easy to say bad things about people, to judge every single thing a person does and forget all the good they've done throughout their life (like all the donations he continues to do, especially during covid), just because what? It makes you feel good about yourself? It makes you feel less like a failure if you can criticise the best football player of the world?
Instead of giving free judgments, jumping to conclusions and criticising everything that moves, take a moment to think about what that translates about you as a person.
We stand with you, Ronaldo.
We stand with Portugal.

So, Titans S4 part 1 is over and once again I reiterate that Titans is above continuity.
Aka they don't care about what the hell is going on and just make it up as they go:
Being coherent?
Interesting and important plot points?
Meaningful character arcs?
Characters that grow and evolve instead of just changing their whole personality in a matter of 2 seconds?
Titans says HELL NAH, those are for losers!!!!
That being said, we can safely conclude that Titans does not have continuity in no point whatsoever, and so we can not use Bolzano' s Theorem to draw any sort of conclusions about this show.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Just watched the Black Adam movie
This is my review, I tried not to give away too many spoilers but be warned, I don't think I succeeded...
It was simultaneously surprising and what I expected.
It's your typical superhero movie with lots of action but I was pleasantly surprised with the depth of some of the main themes.
The Rock is great in these action roles and knowing he feels so deeply for the character and fought for this so much, gives him so much more credit. I liked the little plot-twist (I knew something smelled fishy when they insinuated the kid was Black Adam) and the notions of good and bad, wrong and right, etc
The civilians surprised me because I actually really liked them. The mother and the son actually had important non-irritating roles and I enjoyed seeing them in the movie.
I always loved Doctor Fate, he is one of my favorite characters from the DC universe (I know, I know, I have many) and he is amazing in this movie! He totally steals the show and Kent Nelson is such a well-built character, they didn't take shortcuts in incorporating most of Dr. Fate's and Kent Nelson characteristics and they were absolutely able to succeed. Pierce Brosnan is perfect in the role (as one would expect) and dominates every scene he is in.
On the other hand, Atom Smasher is simply a comic relief and I don't think it would make any difference if you were to replace Cyclone with a stone (she is literally just filling the space, she didn't do anything remarkable or even note-worthy).
Hawkman on the contrary, really surprised me. In the animated shows and movies I always felt like he was just another character, not really worth mentioning and in the comics I read with him, even though he was quite the main character, I must confess I was mostly just waiting to see when Sandman appeared again.
In the movie, Hawkman was a great character! He was determined and resilient, I liked seeing how he was confronted with his rooted beliefs of good and bad, villains and heroes, when faced with Black Adam.
One of the most important aspects, in my opinion, was the emotional way he reacted at the end when Doctor Fate did the... thing (spoilers) , because even though you have never seen these characters before (in live action, in this setting), as an audience you can really feel how deeply he cares for his friend, and through osmosis (lmao) you start to also share his feelings and feel his pain.
I can't finish this without mentioning the post-credits scene that was also one of my favorite things even though I knew what it was about (like everyone else). It's such a hype moment, a historic type of deal in DC history and it's great to be able witness it.
Welcome back, Mr. Cavill.
Welcome back, Superman. In our hearts, you never really left.

I swear if I see one more ignorant person calling The Sandman 'woke' and use it as an excuse to criticise it just because they have to stomp on other people's happiness I'm gonna lose it.
THE COMICS WERE EXACTLY LIKE THIS AND THEY WERE PUBLISHED IN 1989!!
Oh no, do more than 2 characters being black and more than 1 character being gay and them actually having character arcs scare you? Poor you.
Like wtf at least try to gather some information before your bigoted impulses get the best of you

Soooooo,
I was today years-old when I learned that the squirrel in Ice Age was in fact, not called Quiqui like I've believed all my life.
Apparently everything is a lie and we might as well be living in the Matrix.

Listen, listen
Batman sequel idea:
The main antagonist is the Court of Owls- a totally new concept for live action, not very known in general, and relatively new to the comic book history that had a massive success with the fans.
They can concentrate on Gotham, the influences, deception, corruption, on an even greater level than in the last film.
And the cherry on top of the cake- they can introduce Dick Grayson with his normal origin story, etc and then neatly do the connection between him and the Court and finanlly introduce him as Robin and Bruce's son.

I'll give you an example
Me: Hello. Dou you have a moment to talk about our lord and saviour Sandman?
Person: Isn't that a Spider-man villain?
Me: -_-
I've lost count of how many times I've tried to talk to people about Sandman and had this follow-up:
"Isn't that a Spider-man villain?"
This is not the Way
