i'm procrastinating so mai -- idk if you've answered something like this before, but tell me some of the reasons you love suna!! ramble to your hearts content asldkj - rowan
i was never asked this before sdfkjhdsjkfhsdj
oKAY SO i obviously had to make my list a little short before i ended out writing an entire four page essay about why i love suna. it’s 5 am and i’m sobbing over him again.
1. be honest, he’s beautiful
— have you seen him??? his eyes??? they’re so pretty i got hooked to his character the moment i saw him in the manga. the picture of him with his hands looking like if he’s manipulating his opponents? i swear to god that shit is just breath taking.
furudate really wanted to tell us this boy has some gorgeous eyes i mean no one would draw them that pretty for no reason
you know there’s just that one character in a show that the moment you see you go like ‘oh yeah they’re definitely gonna be my favorite’ and here you are now, sobbing over that character cause you love them so much. basically the me loving suna scenario in a nutshell. i literally want to pat his head his hair looks so floofy (is that even a word? i don’t know.)
2. he’s best boy !!!!
— i love his personality too?? he’s so laid back and quiet??? like those are my living goals in life. he’s also analytical and boy does that just make him even more better. but that’s not it. he gives zero shit about anything. it’s almsot like his entire existence is a whole mood sdkfjhdfjkd. literally everything he does makes me love him even more though. him whipping out his phone to record atsumu and osamu fighting?? that had me sold. do you remember his ‘what a keen bean’ line??? THAT WAS SO CUTE
3. tall analytical quiet guy with black hair who grins mischievously and manipulates his opponents?? surprise boys, that’s 99% of my type!!!!
— i don’t even think i have to elaborate on this lmao
4. more about his character - he’s so cute???
— he keeps on thinking about things all of the time and i love that so much. instead of developing his character with dialogue like how most characters are developed, furudate gave us so much information about him just by giving an insight on the type of things he thinks. him wanting to see kita do something like ‘talk to a bird like a baby’ is so fcking adorable.
5. even more about his character???
— his overall character is just so likable??? i don’t know i just really love suna and furudate made his character so interesting. the entire ‘torso movement’ thing that he utilizes in his games just maximized the ‘wow factor’ in suna’s character and i’m LIVING for that. even if i wasn’t totally in love with suna, his character still stands out in inarizaki. (but the plot twist is i love suna and he indeed stands out for me)
6. there’s so many little moments that make me love him
— i’m gonna have to name these little scenes but there were just some moments in the manga that immediately made me like suna even more. it took like,,, 30 minutes to get all these references but it was worth it sdkfjsdkjfd
look at him being so excited!!! he looks so precious here!!!
y’all,,,, have you seen his face when he finally figured out that kita, the perfect kita, has a weakness (static electricity)
can i also add how adorable he looks zipping his jacket here???
the way he’s just casually walking with his phone and his hand barely in his coat pocket??? also, i will say the boy owns a nice pair of converse and thus prolly has a good sense in fashion

— have you guys seen him in the timeskip??? his handsomeness????? elevated???? he’s still the same old suna with his comment abt atsumu and he continued playing volleyball later and i don’t know why i love that so much??? i mean honestly furudate he was already too much for me to handle and there you went making him even more better
and that’s the entire post on why i love suna rintarou so much, thank you for coming to my ted talk.
