NuVision Building have been building in and around the Hills District of Sydney for 30 years and are a past winner at the Hills District Building and Design Awards.
Welcome to 2024. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and NewYear.
Late last year we started work on an extension/ renovation in Thornleigh. The owner did the demolition and NuVision is contracted to get it up to “ lock up “ stage.
Concrete poured , structural steel installed and framing started before Christmas.
2023 has raced by. So much so we haven’t had time to post updates.
The renovation and extension at Galston is complete and the whole NuVision Team is very happy with the result and hopefully our lovely clients are as well. Their tasteful decor has certainly enhanced the final outcome.
Thank you to our wonderful team, suppliers and sub-contractors.
With structural steel in place the NuVision team finished off the wall framing and pitched the roof over the Dining room extension.
The Alfresco roof needed a bit of extra attention to detail as the rafters are exposed and we did not want unsightly bracket connections at the rafter and ridge junction. Hence the team rebated the rafters into the ridge beam ensuring a strong and neat connection.
Structural steel has been installed at Galston thanks to some help from the skilled fabrication team at GDB Constructions and crane work by Dave from Cranetech.
Both companies worked in harmony with the NuVision team to ensure a fault free , safe steel installation.
Under the watchful eye of the resident alpaca NuVision Building is undertaking an extension and renovation of a family room ,alfresco area and pool at Galston.
NuVision completed a renovation/ extension at Cherrybrook last year including structural rendered retaining walls and stairs.
In this new year the owners organised the landscaping and the results look great ,complimenting the extension and bushy area in which they are located.
Alfresco extension at Middle Dural was finished off just before Christmas which has allowed the clients to enjoy some warm summer days by the pool and with the addition of the fireplace will allow them to enjoy baths cooler months outside as well.
NuVision Building was privileged enough to work with wonderful repeat clients to bring their vision to life for their existing family home. This was achieved by an external alfresco extension, internal renovation including kitchen, and external landscaping which is ongoing. Looking forward to completing the work in the New Year so they can enjoy inside and out!
Our project at Cherrybrook has also progressed albeit a little slower than we would like due to all the delays we have mentioned previously as well as some council delays and materials from overseas . We are grateful to have such patient clients who are great to work with.
The job is a bit difficult to access however with quality contractors such as Dave from Cranetech we were able to get our structural steel in to place with minimum fuss.
The mighty NuVision Hilux hit 300000 kms late last year. It is arguably the hardest working member of the team, picking up materials , taking loads to the tip or getting materials into difficult to reach work sites. Not to mention getting Richard to site each.
If you see the 01NVB Hilux on site you be assured things are getting done.
It’s been awhile since our last post and despite massive amounts of rain , material shortages Covid staff shortages NuVision had been able to make some progress with our projects as mentioned in our last post.
After knock down was completed , the site was trimmed up and excavated by our friends at HillsX and concrete poured by the Bizzy Concrete team.
Last year NuVision Building was fortunate enough to be selected as the builder of choice for a lovely family to do a knock down and construction of a new home in Seven Hills.
Lots of set backs hit the construction industry last year , as with most of the community, however we are getting back on track to get our current projects to completion and get cracking on building the new family home.
Knock was completed last year and concrete slab poured. More updates on this project to follow.
