People used to comment on web comics.
People used to comment on fanfiction.
People used to comment on fanart.
People used to comment on OCs.
I hate "content" culture.
I hate "consuming content" and scrolling immediately to the next thing.
People used to be excited about the art that other people created.
People used to want to share that excitement with creators.
I hate this future.

Last week I barely had time to touch the sketchbook because of several things IRL that ate up a lot of my time! But this weekend I've put it back to work. Mostly dinosaurs and a dragon-like creature, and then a landscape that I screwed up and decided to redraw again. Lessons have been learned!
The quest for thinner linework continues!

"Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky
Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes all the same…"
I've always loved artists who make houses and buildings with a lot of personality and, at the same time, I've been a bit apprehensive about drawing them because oh boy, rules, straight lines and so on give me the creeps. Let's change that!

A bit of sketchbook art after the dental fiasco! (I have more bruises than I care to admit and every time I move I sound like an old house yet still alive!) with a skull character because it's been a while since I've done one. In YELLOW because it's one of my favourite colours.

New flip-book of my 2023 sketchbook. Started at the end of February and finished in March 2024. About 13 months in which I've done studies of other artists, character development, personal drawings, my quest to improve with backgrounds and my first steps with watercolours and water-based colour markers. There are also a few art-blocks that I didn't want to fill in because they are part of the year itself. I hope you like it!
