"I wonder who I'm looking for" (Mark x Ex-Reader)
"Cause you don't go to parties." (College!AU)
Tumblr media
Who would've known this would happen? Mark didn't expect it, his closest friends wouldn't have guessed. Not even you saw it coming. Yet here he was, sitting on the front porch instead of inside enjoying the party raging on inside. He watched every car pulling up or away as the amount of people seemed to keep steady.
Some said hi, Mark didn't acknowledge them as he sighed. When his phone 'beeped', he looked hopefully at it but it wasn't from you so he put it back in his pocket frustrated.
See, you promised Mark you'd meet him at this little event but that was before you got swamped with homework the week of. Mark's just some frat boy anyways, surely he's still having fun without you. Without you... Right. You didn't need to be there either way. Just because he made your heart flutter with the invitation doesn't mean anything would have changed. You weren't a partier like he was. This is fate, you stay home and study and he goes out and has fun. Exactly how it's always been.
Suddenly, your own phone began to ring. You tried to ignore it, you were so close to finishing this essay. But it kept ringing. You sighed in defeat and answered.
"Hello?"
"Y/N!" The other voice yelled over the music.
"Hm?" You responded.
"Don't tell me you stood my poor boy up tonight." You could hear the music get muffled, you assumed he was outside now.
"What are you talking about, Johnny?" You rolled your eyes. "I didn't stand anyone up. I just didn't accept the invitation."
"Mark's been waiting for you all night on the porch. He hasn't came inside once." Johnny said, disapprovingly.
You shook your head, "Don't lie to me. I know he's inside with his latest fling or with you and the boys taking shots."
"Mm. Nope." Johnny said simply, you phone buzzed.
Confused, you saw that Johnny sent a picture. Just like he said, Mark sat on the porch stairs, one hand holding up his head and looking out at the street.
"N-no way. He's not waiting for me. He's probably getting some fresh air." You tried to reason, guilt plaguing the pit of your stomach.
"I'm telling you man, he's waiting for y o u." Johnny emphasized. "Why aren't you here anyways? You even told me you'd come."
You ran a hand through your hair. "I'm finishing homework up. I forgot I had extra work before the end of the semester so there's no way I can come tonight- Listen Johnny, tell him I'm sorry and to go inside, it's too cold to be sitting like that."
"Wow. I just can't believe you sometimes, alright I got it." You could hear the eye roll but Johnny hung up none-the-less.
You sat, fiddling with your pen for a while, debating if you should go just to apologize or something. You looked at your books and papers piled up. Ruffling up your hair, you stood up. You grabbed a jacket, zipping it up and slipped some slippers on. You stood in front of the door, putting your hair up messily and used your leg to open the door.
Only, to be face-to-face with Mark. Shocked, you just starred for a moment.
"Did you- you didn't run over here, did you?" You finally said.
He leaned against your door way, his face blank but something about his eyes seemed... angry? Disappointed? Maybe even sad? "A simple text would've been nice."
"In my defense. I don't have your number." You looked away and nervously bit your lip. "And, how was I supposed to know you would wait for me this whole time?"
"I invited you because I wanted to hang out." He said in disbelief.
"Ok, I know. I'm sorry." You said simply, "You're right, I guess I could've asked around for your number but this was all last minute to me as well. I mean, now that I know I was going to go see you."
"Obviously." Mark walked past you, taking his shoes off by the door and sitting on the couch. He put a bag on the table next to your homework.
"What are you doing?" You asked, slowly closing the door and slipping your own shoes back off.
"Don't tell me you still don't want to hang out." Mark replied.
You blinked a few times. "You're going to watch me do my work?"
"No, we're going to eat, then I'm going to help you with this work." He pat the cushion beside him, and began taking food out of the bag.
You felt like this was some strange dream. "Ok..." You walked over and sat down. "Mark Lee, of all people, is going to help me with physics. Is this a joke?"
"Why not? I already passed." He shrugged, handing you some of the food.
You scratched the back of your neck. "Are you mad? Is confusing me how you show that you're mad?"
He shook his head no, taking a bite. "I asked you out, and that's all I want to do."
"You're so weird." You didn't know how else to put it and began laughing, causing him to laugh as well. "Fine, fine. Hang out we shall! There's no going back now."
"Cool."
"Cool."

"We can't marry!" "Why?" Mafia!Taeyong x Reader
Summary: In an arranged marriage with one of the biggest Mafia families around, you are less than thrilled to be in it. Surely you can figure out how to get out of it.
Tumblr media
Your hair stood on end, your heart bumping loudly in your ears as you stayed as quiet as you could. You held the bag against your chest tightly, peaking around the corner. Looks clear. You checked once more behind you and ran to the next pillar. You were almost to the garage, then you could jump the wall and hide in the forest.
You checked once more and hid behind one of the cars that sat outside. You were glad most of the family was out doing whatever these guys do. It was much easier to sneak around.
For the final time, you looked around. You ran up to the wall, throwing your bag over. Jumping up, you grabbed the top of it and pulled yourself up. You heard talking and laid your body flat on the top, adjusting the hood to cover your face completely.
"They'll still be able to see you." The sudden voice scared you right out of your skin, nearly falling off.
"Don't give up now, I want to see how far you'll get." The man lit his cigarette, allowing you to see his face clear from the light.
You sighed in defeat, your head falling down on top of your hands. "I thought you left."
"For a smoke, yeah. Not for the mission." He chuckled, "You think I don't trust them to handle anything without me?"
"It sounded like it." You mumbled.
He walked over just as you were discovered by the voices you heard earlier. Taeyong put his hand up, "Don't worry guys, it's just us having a chat." And he sent them away. He stood in front of you with his arms open for you to jump to him.
"Piss off." You jumped down away from him.
"Forgetting something?" He motioned to the bag on the other side.
"It's just some clothes, I'll get them in the morning." You crossed your arms.
He laughed, putting out his cigarette and jumping over the wall, easily. He threw the bag back over and jumped back himself. "You're welcome."
"Piss. Off." You emphasized, snatching the bag and trekking back to your room. You couldn't help the glare you gave to some passing members. You slammed the door shut, unable to lock it. Throwing the bag into a corner, you got undressed back into pajamas.
As if your now sour mood couldn't get worse, Taeyong was waiting for you on the bed. You rolled your eyes at him and brushed your hair, putting it up for the night.
"I'm guessing we should talk." He started but you cut him off before he could say more.
"I think you should leave." You smiled sarcastically.
"We're getting married and there's nothing you can do about it." He shrugged.
"I will not live an unhappy life with you." You eventually sat on the other side of the bed, getting under the covers. "Now leave I want to sleep."
"Why would it be unhappy? Why can't you marry me?" He leaned back, looking at you.
You sat up and looked straight at him. "It'll be more miserable for you."
Taeyong couldn't help a slight smile, "Why?"
"Well, I'm a big shopper. I need lots of money to spend on pointless things." You said smugly.
"That's not an issue, you can have all the money you want to spend." He dismissed.
You hmphed, "I hate cooking, so I won't cook you anything."
"Ok, I'll do the cooking." He nodded.
You paused, "Well I hate being around your brothers and they make me highly uncomfortable, I want my own space and room." You looked away proud, feeling like this wasn't a condition he'd meet.
He paused for a while before nodding, "Alright, I'll have the house in the back of the property remade for you, nobody will be allowed back there. Is that all?"
"No!" You struggled to find another excuse, "That's too lonely! I want some companionship. I want dogs or a horse or something to keep me company." You pouted, hoping he didn't notice the awkward delivery in these demands.
But Taeyong once again was ready to comply, "Fine, by tomorrow tell me what dogs or horse or whatever you want, I'll have someone pick them up. Happy?"
You continued to shake your head. Though you'd be lying if you didn't feel a little swayed by how patience he continued to be despite your attempts of throwing a fit. "Your hair makes you look scary red. I don't like looking at it. You should do something cuter. Like pink."
"That's an easy one, I can do pink hair if that's what you want." He stood up. "All of your demands will be made soon, so I hope you can come to not hate this marriage." He walked around to your side and leaned over, it looked like he was going to give you a kiss on the head, but he just turned the lamp off and left, closing the door.
You stared at the roof in disbelief, silently screaming. You rolled onto your side and into a ball.
"I hate that guy. His stupid face, stupid suit, stupid house, stupid family, stupid life." You cursed under your breath. "Even if he can hide behind this fake kindness, I still want to go home."
You sit up and punch the pillow in frustration. You keep glancing at the clock and give up on sleep, you get up and since it's the dead of night you expect nobody to be up. You quietly head downstairs, leaning against the wall as you approach the living room, where it sounds like the eldest members are talking.
"She's rude and unreasonable, why don't we take her back? Tell her parents the deals off." Johnny suggested.
Taeil agreed, "All of these demands, there's no reason to keep her."
"What's the point of being married if you have to have her under constant supervision? You need a wife to help you not a wild dog causing trouble-" That member didn't get to finish before you heard broken glass.
"She is my fiancé, and she will not be talked about like that in front of me." Taeyong's voice lowered. "I've heard all your complaints and I will still ignore them. She is not troublesome, she's scared thinking we kidnapped her. We owe her the chance to adjust. I know she'll fit in just fine in the future."
You leaned against the wall as you listened. Deal? What deal with your parents? You were told your parents were looking for you, it's why you were so desperate to escape, for them. But they sent you here? On purpose?
"Taeyong," Kun started, with a disappointed tone, "You are kind and thoughtful of Y/N and I praise your loyalty, but we need to think long term. All she's proven so far is that she is hotheaded and rebellious, she will only add to our stress and make more trouble."
"Enough," He leaned into his hand and sighed, "Leave me be for a moment."
"Yes sir." They said in sync, you quickly hid under the stairs as they passed by.
Once they are gone and you hear them settle into their rooms, you emerge. You stand in the doorway for a while, just observing. Eventually you work up the courage to walk over and sit in the chair beside him. He glances at you through his fingers before sitting up straight.
"Did we wake you?" He asked softly.
You shook your head, "I have something to ask you."
"Go ahead," He sighed, grabbing the mug in front of him.
"Why? Why are you so determined to marry me?" You ask.
The moment between you was different that all your other interactions. It was calm, and quiet. The fireplace allowed a soft warm glow, you both spoke softly. For once, it didn't feel like you were cornered and stressed, you felt like you were mutuals.
"I think if some parents are willing to give their child away so easily for some flimsy promise of protection, they don't deserve you. You are full of potential, I thought you'd be better off here. I was willing to put up with your attitude because I knew it must have been stressful adapting here." He explained, looking ahead and taking a sip from the drink.
You lowered your head, your hair covering your face. You didn't know what to think, you were so hurt by your parents. You felt alone and betrayed, but yet Taeyong's presence didn't let you spiral.
You reached out and held his hand with both of yours, "Thank you. I'm sorry for being so ungrateful and difficult. You were looking out for me and stood up for me. I didn't know. I will be better, I promise."
"I don't mind, take your time. I can wait." He smiled.
"Y'know, I guess I don't mind you and your home." You smiled back.

Log date - May 26, 2015 (Seventeen AU) Pt 2
Today's date is May 27, 2015. It is my second day of writing these reports of our 17 subjects, including failures in this project. Let us begin.
Tumblr media
Experiment#011
Name: Kim Mingyu
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Deceitful personality. Since Experiment#011 arrived, he was deemed one of the friendlier, almost child-like experiments therefore was given more freedom than those who required harsher surveillance. He has been the mastermind for a few riots and breakouts. He is incredibly intelligent and managed to hide it from us for years. He has been removed from his old room and in Wing2 with #002 and #003 for constant surveillance.
Tumblr media
Experiment#012
Name: Xu Minghao
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Apart of the group of 6 that arrived recently. Not much has been observed from him but it seems he tends to be around #005 despite #005 making no effort to communicate with #012. Seemingly involved with the incident that resulted in termination of #009. Will have to continue to monitor before any other conclusions.
Tumblr media
Experiment#013
Name: Boo Seungkwan
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Curious in nature, Experiment#013 often takes things from the scientists during testing and asks many, many questions. He likes to mimic the scientists and other experiments, to the point of annoyance. He tries to boss the lower experiments around, not that they listen.
Tumblr media
Experiment#014
Name: Hansol Vernon Chwe
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Upon arrival with the other foreign 6, he appeared lethargic and unresponsive. He was immediately sent to the medical wing where it was apparent, he's just a heavy sleeper. He's given staff several scares because of this. Despite proper amount of sleep, always seems out of it or tired. Will need further medical check-ups.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Experiment#015
Name: Lee Chan
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Mischievous and crafty due to being exposed to #003, luckily not as quick-witted so his attempts aren't as successful. He was a part of the 3 youngest experiments, Experiment#015 being the only one to be able to continue currently. He is often looked after by the other experiments, perhaps as a response to losing the other younger 2.
Tumblr media
Experiment#016
Name: Shin Dongjin
Status: FAILED
Description: Experiment#016 had to be terminated early in the process. He was unable to keep up with testing and progress. He experienced several breakdowns before being deemed unfit to continue and was terminated shortly after.
Tumblr media
Experiment#017
Name: Kim Samuel
Status: FAILED?
Description: Due to the quick failure of #016, #017 had low expectations of being able to stay in the tests long. Despite being so young, he fared better. He progressed will and got along with the others. Though it was ruled by the higher ups to not have him go further with this test after the incident with the others. They feared he would be influenced by them, but he was a good subject, so they moved him to a different location.
This is the end of my log. This is all the information I have of these 17, take it as you will. I will be departing from the location soon so this is all I can leave behind. Whoever takes my spot, please fulfill my last wish. They are just kids, don't be too hard. Don't let the others test them too hard, they used to be more cooperative and friendlier before this new management began pushing them too hard. I hope you gain their trust and be at least one friendly face in this horrid place.
End of Log date May 27, 2015. Signing off one last time.

Log date - May 26, 2015 (Seventeen AU)
17 subjects in our lab today, for organization's sake I will be writing down their profiles in this file, even the 'failed' experiments. Beginning with the first.
Tumblr media
Experiment#001
Name: Jang Doyoon
Status: FAILED
Description: Though he had a promising beginning, Experiment #001 became unstable and unable to continue. Ultimately terminated and removed from the project.
Tumblr media
Experiment#002
Name: Choi Seungcheol
Status: ACTIVE
Description: He is resilient, physically and mentally strong. Around the scientists Experiment#002 becomes very hostile, proceed with caution when dealing with him. He exhibits compassion and often takes care of the other experiments.
Tumblr media
Experiment#003
Name: Yoon Jeonghan
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Experiment#003 is to have 24/7 surveillance, he is crafty and a quick thinker, he's nearly escaped the facility twice. Never turn your back to him, he will take advantage. Experiments #002 and #004 seem to be the closest to him and often will compromise once they are threatened.
Tumblr media
Experiment#004
Name: Hong Joshua
Status: ACTIVE
Description: We haven't had Experiment#004 long, he came with 5 other experiments, they are all relatively new still. From first observations, he seems odd. He seems to remain calm during stressful tests and will begin to hum to keep himself in that state. He will need further observations.
Tumblr media
Experiment#005
Name: Wen Junhui
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Part of the new arrivals, Experiment#005 used to be much more talkative until the failure of Experiment#009. Now he seems to be closed off to everyone except, on rare occasions, #012.
Tumblr media
Experiment#006
Name: Kwon Soonyoung
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Experiment#006 exhibits particular behaviors when exposed to certain sounds. He seems to like to dance but never truly settles down. He doesn't seem to be able to sit for more than 10 minutes. The others have begun referring to him as "Tiger" for reasons currently unknown.
Tumblr media
Experiment#007
Name: Jeon Wonwoo
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Experiment#007's main flaw seems to be his poor vision. Despite that, he often steals books and papers from the scientists often to try and read it. He has been caught several times, though no amount of discipline deters him. He has an affinity to want to learn and often observes the others and barely interacts.
Tumblr media
Experiment#008
Name: Lee Jihoon
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Experiment#008's reclusiveness rivals that of #007. Despite activities being available in his room, he never has been seen using them. He sits in the furthest corner and just stares. It doesn't seem he sleeps nor moves from that position unless moved to another area where he continues to choose a spot to sit and stare. Though #006 often tries to interact.
Tumblr media
Experiment#009
Name: Yao MingMing
Status: FAILED
Description: Came in with the group of foreign experiments. He showed a lot of promise as well, he was social and active. After an incident with one of the other experiments, Experiment#009 became difficult and uncooperative. The tests were incompatible with him, and he was deemed a failure and disposed of shortly after.
Tumblr media
Experiment#010
Name: Lee Dokyeom
Status: ACTIVE
Description: Experiment#010 seems to share the same nature as #009, social and active. His hyperactivity leads him to often be with #006 during activity time. The others tolerate him, but they have ''corrected'' his behavior several times for being too pushy. Remains innocent in nature, recommended to be supervised during activity time while with others.
That is all the time I have to report today, tomorrow I will finish the recordings of the final 7 experiments.
End of Log date May 26, 2015. Signing off.

Why do you treat me so cold? Mafia!Yuta x Reader
Summary: You're just an assignment, why would you mean anything to the cold-hearted bodyguard? One more day, father promised it would only be that much longer.
(Trigger warning - guns, death, trauma)
Tumblr media
For the past few months, you've been living within the walls of the bustling Ncity. It was all thanks to a deal your father made with NCT's leader, Taeyong. Some threats have come for your father and to ensure your safety, you are to stay with NCT until it all subsides. Taeyong takes the extra step to assign a specific member to stay by your side and let's just say, he wasn't the most enthused about being a 'babysitter'. You'd try to make small talk with him, but he doesn't seem to budge. It's like he's a statue whenever you look and try to read his face. You quickly learned to just give up. He's simply just a pair of eyes watching over your every move.
You received a letter from your father saying in a few days' time, you could come home. You smiled greatly, you missed home, as spectacular Ncity was, it wasn't where you belonged. You turned to Yuta who stood in the door frame, facing out.
"Yuta, I think you'll like this news from my father." You called out, and he turned his head slightly in your direction to show he was listening, "In a few days, I'll be out of your hair and home."
He sighed and nodded. You pouted at the response, but it was still better than when you first got here. When you couldn't even get a glance that was anything less than a killer stare.
You got up and tapped his shoulder, he moved out of the way. You went downstairs to the kitchen, and he followed.
"Are you hungry? I'm going to make some ramen." You turned to him, and he hesitated to answer before saying no. "I'll make you some anyways." You made 2 bowls and somehow when you weren't looking, he finished it quicker than you could blink.
"Do you want more? I could make some more." You offered, a little shocked.
"I'm fine." He paused. "Thanks."
Your face immediately brightened; he's never said that to you. "Of course, I'm a pretty good cook so just let me know if you want to eat."
He nodded.
"Yuta, Y/N." A member you came to know as Mark greeted the both of you. "Y/N, did you hear? Tomorrow there's going to be a lunch and we'll hand you back to your dad."
You quickly looked at Mark and smiled wide, "I didn't know it was so soon. I can't wait to see my family." You trailed off, gazing off imaging your father and mother greeting you back home.
You clean up and turn to Yuta, "Well since tomorrow's a big day, I'll go to sleep now. Goodnight Yuta."
He followed you to your room to double check the windows and lightly bowed as he closed the door. You laid in bed, starring at the ceiling. As comfy as this bed was, as nice as the room seemed, it never felt like yours. You were so happy to go home, you could barely calm your heart enough to go to sleep.
Apparently, you slept like a baby, because you were awoken by a knock at the door. It was Yuta making sure you were awake; you'd slept in a little.
"I'm up! Sorry! I'm- uh picking an outfit for lunch!" You called back, quickly jumping out of bed.
"We'll be leaving in a few hours, don't take too long." Yuta replied and it seemed like he went back downstairs.
You went through your draws, setting a few outfits on your bed. You crossed your arms and hummed. The outfit that called out to you was a white sun dress with brilliantly blue flowers, you paired it with some earrings to match and white flats. You looked in the mirror and fiddled with the necklace your father gave you and spun a little. Mother's favorite color was blue, she'll love this dress.
You walked downstairs to see a few other NCT members standing there in their own suits. They watched you walk over, and you smiled to them all.
"Thank you all for being so nice to me here, I almost feel bad for leaving. I didn't do much for you compared to what you've done for me and my family." You cupped your hands in front of you.
Johnny shook his hand, "Don't get all cheesy on us like that."
"Yeah, you've been a fresh breath of air in a house of kids that don't know how to bathe." Taeil added on, earning complaints from the others.
You laughed with them, and you all began to pill into the cars. In your car, Yuta sat beside you, Johnny drove and Haechan rode in the passenger's side. The drive there was light-hearted, you all joked and talked, even having a mini concert with Haechan. You realized that in a way, they did become like a second family after all this time.
The cars parked outside of a venue, and you could see your parents waiting outside for you. You couldn't wait, you jumped out of the car and began to run towards them. In your excitement you didn't hear the others yelling at you to stop and to come back. The last thing you could make out was Yuta's voice.
"Y/N! WATCH OUT!"
That was it, next thing you know you're on the ground. Yuta shielding your body with his. There was a loud bang. Then another, and another. Until it became a never-ending sound. You looked around terrified. Your parents were no longer standing, they laid on the ground and at first you couldn't process it, you couldn't process anything. You didn't respond. Yuta lifted you up and dragged you back to the safety of the car. There was gunfire all around you. You shook and Yuta kept your head down and covered as he yelled at Johnny to go.
The car drove and drove, the farther you got the harder reality hit you. Your parents... but you were supposed to go home... No this can't be happening. You couldn't help but cry. You cried and screamed, grasping desperately at the necklace. Johnny could only glance back at you and Haechan was trying to communicate with the others. Yuta slowly put his hand on your shoulder. You turned to him and held onto him tightly, burying your face in his chest and holding on desperately onto his jacket, as if he'd be gone next. And he just let you, he let you cry, and scream and he rubbed your back.
"It's going to be okay... don't worry... I'll protect you." He whispered softly to you.
You ended up back in Ncity territory, safely within the walls of the mansion. Yuta picked you up and carried you to your room. He tried to set you down and leave but you tightly held on.
"No! NO! Don't leave! You're going to get hurt! And- and" You pleaded between cries; you were hysterical.
He sat back down and cupped your face, "Y/N, Y/N look at me. Look, I'm right here. It's ok. You're ok. I need to see the situation; I'll be right back. Nothing will hurt you here, not as long as I am. Ok?"
You sniffled and nodded. He offered a smile before walking out. You could make out his voice along with the others that didn't go or made it back quickly.
"What happened?"
"We were ambushed. I'm afraid Mr. and Mrs. Y/L/N..."
"That means Y/N might have nowhere to go now."
"Where's the others?"
"Probably still caught up in the fire, don't worry we already sent back up."
"How's Y/N?"
"How do you think after all that?"
"Yuta you should stay by her side for a while longer, until we find out the exacts."
"Already ahead of you."
You hugged your pillow, tightly and continued to cry, silently this time. Your throat hurt, your head was pounding, and it felt like your heart exploded. The sounds of the guns echoed in your ears. You felt like you were spiraling when you felt a weight beside you. You looked over to see Yuta sat beside you. You both sat silently for a while, as you tried to wipe your tears away.
"I- I'm sorry... sorry for holding onto you and-and yelling." You sniffled.
"It's ok, I understand that there's a lot going through your head right now." Yuta sighed, "I'll be the shoulder you can lean on."
You leaned against him, taking great comfort in his presence more than ever. Despite the panic and fear electrifying through your body, his comforting presence seemed to soothe it a little. He continued to rub your back as you tried not to cry anymore.
"My parents..." You squeaked out, your voice cracking. "Where...?"
"I don't know yet. It's unclear right now but you'll be the first to know, don't worry." Yuta replied.
"Yuta... I'm scared. Please don't leave me..." You spoke barely above a whisper at this point.
"I won't, I'll always be by your side." He paused. "If the worst did happen, don't worry about that either. The family's here for you, all of us, I'll be here as long as you need me."
"Thanks... I- I really appreciate it." Your eyes teared up again and you let it go. It felt like your tears burned your face and the adrenaline in your body slowly faded, leaving you exhausted.
Yuta felt you fade off into sleep and he laid you down in bed. He didn't leave though, he sat with his back to you, facing the window as if he would keep watch all night. You reached out and held his hand tightly, to make sure he wouldn't disappear. He squeezed your hand as reassurance. And sure enough, Yuta did stay up watching over you all night.

Dinner Party (CEO! Jaehyun x Reader) -request-
Summary: Mr. Jeong needs a date for this important social party and you're the first one he can think of to join him, don't mess up.
Requested by: @the-anonymous-warrior
Tumblr media
"Ms. Lee. Will you tell Ms. Y/L/N to come to my office after my meeting?" Mr. Jeong Jaehyun speaks softly to his assistant, fiddling with his sleeve and checking his watch.
"Of course, I'll be sure to notify her." Ms. Lee fixes Jaehyun's tie before he walks into the meeting room. Soon after, she makes her way to your desk. She stands beside your desk until you're done with the phone call and notice her.
"Oh Ms. Lee, what can I do for you?" You say with a smile but are filled with dread. It was never good when Mr. Jeong's assistant personally comes to talk to someone. Please no more work, I'm already swamped, you plead in your head.
"Mr. Jeong wants to see you after his meeting. It ends in about 35 minutes. Don't be late." Ms. Lee says simply and walks away back to her desk.
You watched her confused, either you are about to be fired or get a raise. You aren't sure where it could be leaning towards since Mr. Jeong was a hard man to read. You sighed and the dread hangs over you as you carefully watch the clock. Exactly 35 minutes later you get up and make your way to his office. Luckily, you got there as he was walking back. You respectively bow to him in greeting. He bows lightly back and opens his door, allowing you to go in first. You stand before his desk and watch him walk over and sit down.
"Mr. Jeong, how was your meeting?" You ask quietly, trying to make some small talk to see how his mood was.
He leans against his desk and looks at you, "As good as it can be with our competitors."
Ah, not so good. Ah, this must be a firing then, alright mentally prepare yourself then, Y/N. You hold back an audible sigh.
"Your performance lately has been satisfactory lately, Y/n." He says looking through some papers.
"I know, if I had more time-" You began but he cut you off.
"Satisfactory is good. I've seen how much work is on your desk and your pace is surprising efficient." He reiterates.
"Oh, thank you sir." You say surprised. A raise? Maybe? Please?
He looks up at you again, "That being said, I'm afraid I'm going to need to ask you another favor."
Dang it. "Of course, what do you need, sir?" You reply with a forced friendly smile.
"There's a social event I must attend, I need someone to tell me the people there as well as a date." He says simply.
"Date?" You repeat, shocked as this was the furthest in your imagination for this conversation. "So, you want me to come with you as a secretary and date? Forgive my rudeness but why not take Ms. Lee?"
"She's taking a few days off so she can't. You on the other hand, seem to be free from what I saw on your schedule." He takes a sip of his coffee. "If the event is so troubling for you, I'll include a bonus if you do me this favor."
"How much of a bonus?" You suddenly sound more intrigued and it makes him chuckle.
"I'll double this upcoming paycheck. How does that sound?" He raises an eyebrow.
Your ears certainly perked at that, "I can do that. Send me the list of people and dress code and I'll meet you there, sir."
"Of course, but I'll be picking you up. What kind of man would I seem to be if I don't arrive with my date?" He tilts his head to the side.
"I see, I'll send my address then. Well, I'll see you then, sir." You smile and take your leave.
The following day you spend memorizing the list of guests you were sent and try to find an appropriate outfit to wear for the night. You ultimately opt for an off-white blouse with a high-rise lavender skirt that falls to about your knees. Eventually you hear a honk outside your house and walk out to see Mr. Jeong's driver standing outside the car, opening the door for you. You make your way over, mumbling a 'thank you' before getting in.
"You look nice, very good." He comments.
"Thank you, sir." You smile, "I believe I've memorized all the important faces for tonight so don't worry about that."
He looks out the window to hide his smirk. "Y/N, I don't remember telling you to memorize all that information. But alas, I am impressed, you certainly are a hard worker."
Your face flushes in embarrassment. Great way to start this off already.
"Also, for tonight call me Jaehyun. Since you are my date, we should seem close." He adds.
"Of course, sir- I mean Jaehyun." It feels weird calling him that, nobody would dare but I mean might as well milk it for the night.
The event itself was nothing too special, you'd whisper the names and some information about the people that Jaehyun greeted and was his arm candy for the night. You met many investors, other CEOs, and all sorts of important seeming people. The night almost went without a hitch. Of course, until you weren't by Jaehyun's side for a few moments. You had gone off to get a snack for the desserts table and someone brushed against you.
"Oh, Mr. Wong, sorry I didn't mean to bump into you." You apologized, covering your mouth that you just stuffed with half a cupcake.
He smiled, "No worries, no harm done." He spoke in a deep voice, and of course he was very handsome, you almost couldn't help starring.
Eventually you snapped out of your trance and moved to the side, "Sorry, I must be blocking your way."
"No, no, I wanted to talk to you actually."
What dreamy eyes he has, and he's so tall and- Wait what did he say? "Ah, sorry can you repeat that? The music's a little loud." You try to play off.
"I said, you don't seem close with Jaehyun, are you two really together?" He said again.
"Oh no, I'm just an employee and he needed someone to come with him. So, there's nothing going on between us." You rambled a little.
"I see, say why don't we go for coffee some time? You're an interesting person, I'd like to get to know you more." Lucas took out his business card and handed it to you.
You smiled and took it, "Sounds great, I'll shoot you a text when I'm free."
It wasn't until now that you felt the death lasers going through your head. You looked to the side to see Jaehyun behind Lucas, seemingly glaring at the two of you. Confused, you dismissed yourself from Lucas and went over to him.
"Jaehyun, what's wrong?" You asked.
His tongue pressed against his cheek as he continued to glare at Lucas before looking at you. "What's my date doing flirting with an investor?"
You chuckled nervously, "What? Flirting? We were just chatting- Wait, what do you care? We don't have anything between us." You realized some people glanced in your direction, so you lowered your voice.
"Nothing between us?" Jaehyun repeated, for some reason he seemed offended. "All those times we flirted in the office, was that just chatting? Did you think I just randomly selected you from a hat to come with me?"
"...What?" You were absolutely puzzled at this point. This must be some sick prank. No way in hell is he being serious. Thee Jeong Jaehyun likes you?? Nah he's messing with you right now, so you laugh. "Oh I get it, very funny sir. You just wanted my heart to drop right? Haha I caught on to you."
But he didn't laugh, instead he grabbed your hand and took you outside. Panic fills your mind. Oh no, oh no no no. I offended him- I'm so dead---- Once you stopped walking you kept your eyes firmly on the ground as you both just stood there.
"Look at me." He commanded. "Look me in the eyes, right now."
Of course, you complied and looked at him, feeling like you wanted to shrink and disappear but that wouldn't happen.
"Good, now tell me you don't like me." Jaehyun's voice was so deep and honestly a little intimidating. Sure, he's pretty cute with his nice hair and handsome face, and cute smile. Oh, and his laugh is like music to your ears but that doesn't mean you y'know like him or anything, that's your boss after all.
You kinda just stand there like a fish, opening and closing your mouth unsure of the right answer.
He huffed, annoyed. "You're meaning to tell me, all this time you felt nothing for me? Did I just read your signs wrong then?"
"Well- I mean- Who doesn't like you? Am I right? Because like I certainly do but- y'know it's not really my place to so-"
He put a finger over your lips to stop the rambling. "Shake your head yes or no. If I asked you out, what would you say."
You squinted and nodded. He moved his hand away.
"Good, Y/N Y/L/N, will you go out with me?" Jaehyun asked.
"You are crazy, sir." You replied out of breath as if you just got off a rollercoaster. "Nothing would make me happier than to go out with you, Jeong Jaehyun."
"Then it's settled, now get rid of Lucas' number." He smiled.
"Wow first minute and you're already bossing me around." You complain and dramatically rip the card in half and throw it away. "Happy?"
"Very, now shall we leave this boring event and get some ice cream?" Jaehyun offered his hand.
You laughed, "How unprofessional of you, Mr. Jeong. Let's go see a movie too while we're at it." You took his hand and he kissed it.
"I like your thinking, come on." Jaehyun took you back to the car and you set off to do as you said.
Certainly, the strangest start to a relationship you've ever experienced but you got to admit, it ends up being one of your best relationships. Turns out the big ol' boss is a big teddy bear. He loves to spoil you with gifts and dates. He absolutely enjoys an afternoon of cuddling as well; you've also noticed a decrease in work so that's the biggest plus. Joking aside, he's very romantic and sweet. You couldn't be happier. What a lovely guy.

Stuffy Prince (Jaehyun x Reader)
Summary: Lady Y/N has been invited to a masquerade at the castle, gladly she goes. She dances the night away with a masked man, only to find out he's the most stuck up prince in the kingdom.
Tumblr media
"Y/N the carriage is here, hurry!" Your brother Taeyong called from downstairs.
"I know, I know!" You called back, checking your appearance one last time before making your way downstairs.
"That's not the dress you picked out yesterday, is it?" Taeyong looked at you confused, he offered your mask.
You shook your head no, "I found this in mom's closet. I think it's much better." You put your mask on, turning to Taeyong and fixing his collar.
"I agree, you look like the moon." He helped you into the carriage.
"That sounds like it could be an insult or compliment." You fiddled with your rings.
"Whatever you prefer, my lady." He teased, getting in across from you.
"Ok, strawberry man." You chuckled.
The carriage ride felt fast despite the palace being so far from your town, probably because Taeyong was there to entertain you. Once you arrived and you both stepped out, Taeyong pointed to a tree.
"That's where we'll meet afterward, just in case I can't find you later." He said, running his hand through his hair.
You quickly smacked it away and fixed it, "Sounds good to me, don't drink too much."
He laughed, "I was just about to tell you the same."
The two of you hooked arms to walk in together. Once at the hall, Taeyong was quick to leave you after finding some of his friends. You shook your head with a smile, the snack table catching your eye. You saw a chocolate-dipped strawberry and picked it up. Taking a bite, you were hit with its sweetness, so good. You scanned the table and saw the drinks, you went over and poured yourself some. You took a sip and when you turned around, a tall man stood before you. He had black hair and a brilliant red mask with gold embroidery, matching the rest of his outfit.
You curtsied to him, "My apologies, excuse me." When you tried to step to the side, he matched your step. The two of you did it a few more times before you stopped. Surely he's doing this on purpose.
"Do you need something? Or are we in sync?" You asked with a polite smile.
"You're not here with someone, are you?" He asked. When you shook your head no, he offered his hand, "Come, dance with me then."
"Very well, I like this song." You put your drink down and took his hand.
He guided you to the middle of the dance floor then you began to dance. You could tell he was strong yet graceful, light on his feet but seemed confident in his movements. What a mysterious man, you thought to yourself.
"You don't seem familiar, do you come to the palace often?" He asked.
You shook your head, "I cannot say, tonight is a night of mystery."
He chuckled, "Mystery doesn't mean I can't ask a few questions, I'd still like to get to know you."
"I don't recommend trying to do so in such a loud room, it's hard to hear." You replied.
"Then let us go somewhere quieter, follow me." He led you outside, to a garden. You walked far enough for the music to be muffled, but the building was still in sight. You sat on a bench next to this beautiful fountain with stone flowers as decoration.
"Wow, how pretty this is." You touched the flowers delicately.
"You definitely aren't from the palace." He commented, sitting beside you.
You looked to him, the moonlight being bright enough to see his dark brown eyes. "Maybe I am, maybe I just never had time to come here."
He laughed, "Everyone's seen this old garden, except those who don't come often."
You laughed, "You caught me then, I'm not a palace lady."
"Are you a noble?" He asked.
"Too personal of a question, I choose to skip it." You playfully replied.
He rolled his eyes, matching your energy. "Fine, fine. What's something you like to do for fun?"
"There you go. I really enjoy baking with my mother these days. We usually don't end up eating it, though. The town enjoys it for us."
He seemed satisfied to get you to answer a question.
You turned and said, "Your turn, what about you?"
"I don't have time to have fun these days. If I had to choose... I think I'd say playing music." He looks at the sky.
"You must be a busy person." You nod at his response, "Hm, what are your parents like?"
"Isn't that too personal?" He raised an eyebrow at you.
"I didn't ask for names. What do you think of them?" You restated.
He chuckled, "My mother, is a good woman. She's weak though, she's gotten really sick recently. She seems to be sick all the time, growing up my father always told me to leave her to rest so I guess I don't have too many memories of her." He paused, "My father is a busy man. He's always working, forcing more on that than us. Of course, he's training me and my brothers to take over for him one day."
"I see. It sounds like there's some pressure on you. I hope your mother gets better, perhaps we can send you some of our baked goods." You replied.
"Sure, shall I tell you my name then so you can know the address?" He teased.
You shook your head, "I could just leave it here for you to pick up, no need for all that."
"It was worth asking." He shrugged, "I have another question."
"Go ahead," You looked at the water of the fountain.
"Since you aren't a palace lady, what do you think of the princes?" He asked, sneaking a glance at you.
You quickly looked to him, "I'm not sure I can answer that unless you promise not to tell them." You joke.
"Oh? You don't like them?" He leans against the back of the bench.
"I didn't say that, I just don't want a bounty on my head tomorrow for speaking about the princes." You counter.
He nods, "I won't tell if you don't."
"Good. There isn't much to say about the princes anyways. The eldest doesn't want to be king, he'd rather be a general so he's probably a little temperamental. The 2nd, I've heard is stuck up. I know he's a prince and all but there's no need to look down so heavily on others in the palace, he seems hard to get along with. I feel bad for his future wife. The youngest, on the other hand, I hear Prince Yoonoh is the kindest and most fun to be around."
"So if you were to choose one, it'd be Prince Yoonoh because Prince Jaeyuk seems difficult and Prince Jaehyun is just off the table?" He asks, sounding more interested than before.
"Definitely, Prince Yoonoh seems like the best choice. Unless their rumors are all wrong, but it's hard for that to happen considering how widespread it is." You nod confidently.
"Interesting way to think of it." He gets up, "Well, Lady Glimmerbrooke, the masquerade's almost over. We should head back." He offers his hand once again.
You reach to grab it but pause, "How did you-" You looked up at him.
He begins laughing to himself, "You are the Lady from Glimmerbrooke? I was just taking a guess. My my, I guess you failed to hide your identity."
You froze, "You're going to forget everything I said tonight, right? I'll get seriously in trouble if the palace nobles hear what I said."
He grabbed your hand and helped you stand, "Don't worry, I am a man of my word. I won't tell anyone. Now go."
You curtsied to him and quickly walked off, catching Taeyong under the tree talking to some lady.
"Our carriage is here, I hope I'm not interrupting." You cross your arms looking at them jump.
"Oh yes, ah I apologize, I must go." He kisses the lady's hand and goes off with you.
"I didn't expect you to meet the love of your life tonight." You tease.
"Quiet, don't think I didn't see you sneak off with that man." He sticks his tongue out at you, which you retaliate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day your mother calls you into the kitchen. She's packing a basket of freshly baked goods.
You reach out and grab a bun, tasting it. "Mmm, these taste great! What are you making them for?"
"You're taking these to the palace." She passes the basket to you.
"What? The palace? For what?" You place a cover over the top of the goods and close the basket.
"A certain someone asks to taste our sweets. I wonder how he could've known about our little hobby." Your mom hums as she checks on other treats in the oven.
"Don't tell me it's him. Mother, what if he's a bad man? Are you going to let your only daughter meet some sketchy guy from the palace?" You try to use your puppy eyes.
She blows some flour in your face and laughs, "Trust me in his letter, he introduced himself. He's not just 'some guy' my dear, so you better be on your best behavior since he seems to enjoy your company."
"I'm just too charming, I should've known he would've fallen in love after dancing with me." You say dramatically but your mom pays you no mind, "I guess I shall just run away with this mystery man and never ever see you or Taeyong again."
She chuckles again, "The palace carriage is here already, don't keep them waiting too long or you might actually get your head cut off."
"Not funny!" You pout, cleaning your face and going to the carriage.
Once you arrive at the palace again, you walk around aimlessly. Soon you realize the palace is a lot bigger than you remember and you had no idea who or where you were supposed to be meeting. Maybe he'll be at the fountain again. You look around and catch sight of the garden, making your way to the fountain and bench you were at the night before. With the fountain in view, you see a very well-dressed man and dread fills your stomach. Shoot, it's a prince- he's probably just trying to enjoy some peace and quiet. You try to back away but nearly trip on a rock. The commotion makes him turn, and now you can see that it's none other than Prince Jaehyun.
You curse to yourself and go up to him, bowing. "My apologies, your highness. I didn't mean to disturb you, I'm just here to drop off some pastries for a noble around here. You wouldn't happen to see someone else around here?"
His emotionless stare at you makes you shift between your feet. You glance around the two of you. About to leave, you notice his face crack for a moment. As if this interaction couldn't have confused you more.
"Lady Y/N, you are very different without the confidence of your mask." He says, with a grin.
You stare. Then your face flushes immediately, "Don't tell me- You- Oh man- Listen, your highness, that was the drinks talking last night not me."
"Yes, of course, the drinks said I was stuck up and hard to get along with. And here I thought we had a good time last night." He replies, arching an eyebrow.
You smile guilty, "If it makes it any better, these are freshly baked." You hold up the basket, which he takes and opens.
"If these taste good, I may consider forgiving you. If not, my bad temper may have you beheaded." He sits on the bench and takes a pastry out.
You panic, "Ah there's no need for all that, your highness. You are quite generous I hear, surely you can forgive my slip of the tongue last night."
He takes a bite and nods. "For the sake of your brother, fine. I owe him one anyways."
"What- How does Taeyong know you?" You just keep getting more and more confused.
"He's a scholar, I would hope I've run into him enough." He adds, finishing up the pastry and going for another.
"Oh right, that makes sense." You mutter to yourself. You put on your best smile and crouch beside the bench, "Oh so gracious Prince Jaehyun, is there any baked food that you like best? Perhaps I can make you it as an apology?"
He thinks for a moment, "Hm, I don't know. I don't have pastries often. I guess you can't apologize."
"Oh, come on, there's something I could do for you, your highness. Even if I can't, my brother can do some things as well." You offer.
Jaehyun shakes his head, "I think I enjoyed this more when you didn't know you badmouthed a prince and his brothers to his face."
"You're teasing me, right?" You deadpan.
"Maybe, who's to know. My temper is just so unpredictable." He shrugs.
"Your highness, you don't hold onto grudges, do you?" You look up at him.
"Who knows?" He replies again, taking another pastry.
You bury your face in your arms on the bench and exhale dramatically.
You can hear him chuckling and you look at him pouting, "Enjoying yourself?"
"Very much I've never had someone talk to me like this. It's fun." He chuckles.
"Well, if you behead me, you'll be bored again." You offer.
"That's a good point," He's quiet for a moment, "Alright, I know how you can make it up to me."
You perk your head up, "I'm listening?"
"Come visit me often. You can either bake for me or entertain me." He suggests.
"Your highness, I'm busy as well. I run the town with my mother, you know." You stand up.
"I know, and your mother already said it'd be fine." He looks up at you with a slight smirk. "Of course, you'll be compensated."
"You're so lucky you're a prince and I'm not." You squint at him.
"Is that a threat?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Of course not." You put your hands up defensively. You sigh and put your hand out.
"What's that for?"
"Well, we're making a deal. I'll come to treat you or sass you 2 times a week." You say.
"6 times a week." He replies.
"3 times." You counter.
"4."
"Fine. 4 times a week." You sigh loudly.
He stands up and shakes your hand, "You better keep your promise."
"Not a promise, strictly business." You correct.
He laughs, "Fine, strict business visits. I'll see you tomorrow."
"You are ridiculous, your highness." You pause, "I'll await your summon. Bye now."
He watched you walk off, smiling to himself. What an interesting girl to have around, finally something to save him from this stressful and dull life.
You smiled to yourself as you walked too. Half embarrassed but also thinking you must be the luckiest person to get out of that situation alive.
Perfect Face and Perfect Body (Kun x Reader)
Summary: Kun's out pretty often, being an idol and all so naturally his girlfriend Y/n is home alone a lot. Seeing him and other beautiful/handsome idols has definitely done a toll on your self image, but luckily he seems to always be there just in time.
Tumblr media
"I think Imma head to bed now, goodnight babe! Go to bed soon 😙💚" You texted your boyfriend Kun who you assumed would be staying overnight at the studio again. Not that you blamed him, he's been working extra hard thanks to the upcoming comeback with him and his whole group.
Ding.
You check your phone. "Goodnight my love🥰 Sweet dreams~ Don't worry I only have a few hours left of work and I'll get some rest."
You smiled and turned your phone off, putting it on the charger and you went to the restroom. Brushing your teeth, washing your face. You sighed and looked into the mirror. You knew you shouldn't stare too long but you couldn't help it. You started moving your head around in the mirror, getting a better look at some of the insecurities on your face. You sighed as you put your hair up.
You didn't want to go to bed in this mood so there was only one thing to make it better, a shower concert always cheered you up. You took a deep breath and got a speaker and hooked up your phone. Of course you put on a nct song to start. You turned the water on and let the bathroom steam up. Once you hop into the shower, your mood instantly improves, you sing and dance in the shower as loudly as you want since you are home alone afterall.
About an hour or so passes by time you get out of the shower still humming along to the music as you brush your hair and wrap it in a towel. You go into your room and look for some clothes to change into. Finally you get a glance of your body and try to brush it off and stay in your good mood but you sneak another glance.
That glance turns into a look, until it's a full stare and you start to pick about insecurities of your body. Turning to your side and looking at your stomach.
"Has it gotten bigger? I only had a few snacks yesterday," You whisper to yourself worried as you play with it, sucking in and whatnot.
You feel your eyes begin to water as you overthink and wallow in the self-loathing. Quickly going over to your wardrobe and putting on the baggest clothes you can. But even that doesn't stop you from turning more and more in the mirror until you spiral and sit against the bed, fighting the tears falling down. You bury your face into your sleeves as you finally just cry. It felt pent up, like you'd been holding it for days. Perhaps your dear body wasn't the reason for the tears, you were just stressed and this was the tipping point. Everytime you tried to brave it and stop crying, the tears seemed to be heavier.
You thought you heard moving outside your room but you knew you were the only one home and couldn't seem to move right now anyways. Even when there were footsteps in front of you and a familiar feeling looking at you, you wouldn't look up.
"My poor baby, it's been a tough week hasn't it?" You heard Kun say as he settled next to you on the floor, putting his arms around you and leaning his head against your still wet hair.
You eventually hug back and bury your face in his neck, so close as if you were trying to disappear. But he didn't mind, he soothed and held you as tightly as you wanted. The two of you sat there for a while, and he waited until you wanted to talk.
You pulled away and sniffled, "I- I thought you wouldn't be home tonight.."
"Taeyong offered to finish something for me so I could come home to you." Kun brushed some hair out of your face. "I'm glad I did, what's wrong my love?"
"I... don't know..." You couldn't find the words and just bit your lip anxiously. "I-I guess I've been in this funk or something.."
"You're burnt out it seems. I know you've been working hard all week, without breaks, right?" Kun asked, he spoke so softly to you with worry yet kindness in his eyes. "It's late we should go to bed."
But you shook your head no, "I'm not tired."
Kun stood up anyways and lifted you onto the bed, "Ok fine, I have a better idea then." He wrapped some blankets around you and turned on the tv and gave you the remote, "Choose a show/movie I'll be right back."
"Ok?" You said unsure of what he was doing, you settled on Encanto (a great movie) and waited for him to come back.
When he did he had two cups in hand. Kun scooted next to you and handed one, "Hot cocoa, a great drink to snuggle up to and feel good." He smiled when you took a sip and nodded in agreement.
Though you claimed to not be tired, the warm cocoa and the movie playing quietly in the background, mixed with the warm kisses and cuddles from Kun worked easily to put you to sleep. Of course, that was Kun's plan, he knows you better than anyone and knows you'll feel better after some well deserved rest.
He shot a text to his manager before settling down next to you. He took the next day off to look after you, making breakfast, a lovely binge-watch of the newest show you've been interested in. The whole day, Kun made sure you were relaxed and happy. And honestly, it's all you could ask for. It made the rough weeks ahead seem more manageable thanks to such a sweet boyfriend.
Dog days (Hybrid!AU)
Just a fun day in the hot sun with (Samoyed) Jeno and (Border Collie) Jungwoo~
Tumblr media
"Jaehyun, are you sure you don't wanna come play with us outside? It's like a hundred degrees." You bumped your hip against the grumpy wolf who finally came out of his room.
"I'm sure, have fun." He grabbed a snack and immediately went back into his room.
You were home with only a few of the hybrids, everyone else was out and about doing this or that so, by Jungwoo's idea, you, Jungwoo, and Jeno were going to head to the dog park since the sprinklers and pool would be open today.
You grabbed some towels and sunscreen, packing it in a bag. Jeno eagerly took the bag to the car and Jungwoo hung his head out of the window.
"Hurry uppp what if we take too long and the park closes?" Jungwoo calls from the car.
"Oh no! I wanted to go swimming though," Jeno looked at you and pouted.
You rolled your eyes and smiled, "You're so dramatic, besides if you didn't insist on your special paw patrol towel we could've gone half an hour ago."
"Hey hey hey, it's a crucial thing to bring with us!" Jungwoo replied.
Jeno's tail wagged as he nodded, "Felix and Seungmin were bringing their special towels, we wanted to show ours off too!"
"Excuses excuses~" You teased.
You drove the 3 of you to the park, you could barely get through the door before Jeno ran off to meet his friends already in the pool. Jungwoo stayed behind to help you move some things to a bench near the pool.
"Wanna run through the sprinklers?" Jungwoo offered.
"Hm, sure." You said putting some sunscreen on, wiping a dollup of it on Jungwoo's nose.
You both ran off over to the sprinklers. The park was definitely the most full you've ever seen it, hybrids and humans running all around trying to escape the heat. There were some people selling snow cones and ice cream too. "Race ya!" Jungwoo yelled and took off.
"Hey! Not fair!" You kicked your sandals off and chased after him.
You laughed and ran together for what felt like forever, some of Jungwoo's friends joining in the fun when they noticed you both. You started slowing down, unable to keep up with their high energy and broke off and away. You thought you were safe, trying to get a drink from your waterbottle until you were on pounced by several pups.
"I just wanted a break!" You whined playfully, pushing Jeno and his friends off of you.
"You looked lonely." Jeno hummed.
"And bored." Felix added.
"You needed some friends," Sanha and the others chuckled.
"Oh yeah? Take this then!" You pulled a little toy water gun out of your bag and squirted them with it.
"Cold! COLD! COLDDDD! RUN!" They all yelled and scattered.
You chased them with an evil laugh a bit before actually running low on energy. You sat on the bench with your stuff, thankful that it was under a tree. You took the chance to dry your hair a bit and put it up in a ponytail. You took some videos of the boys playing and sent it to the group chat that all 22 of you shared.
You swear these two never run out of energy but that was before they had been playing for a few hours, soon enough they came dragging their feet back to you.
You tsked as you saw Jeno's sunburnt face, "See, this is why we don't run away as soon as we get here."
"It doesn't hurt, I'm too tired to feel it." Jeno said with a small cheesy grin.
"You will in the morning," You pinched his cheek. "I'll take this as we're ready to go home?"
They both nodded with tired smiles, you gave them some snacks you packed as you packed up the car once more. The drive home is like 15 minutes, max but they feel asleep as soon as you turned the car on, cuddling in the backseat.
"Now how come you two never want to take a nap at home?" You said to yourself as you laughed and drove home.
The 2 little buggers refused to wake up when you got home and even after you unpacked the car yourself.
"I say you leave them in there." Johnny said when you tried to ask for some help carrying them inside.
"Then we'll have to deal with sore and sunburnt puppies and if that happens I will be pointing them in your direction." You commented, Johnny punking you and you sticking your tongue out in response.
"Jeno's bed is currently occupied by Jisung though," Mark added.
You shrugged, "Just put them on Jungwoo's then."
"That's my bed too." Mark complained.
"Then you get 2 snuggle buddies." You replied.
"It's too hot for thatt" Mark whined.
"You can come to my room dude, slumber party." Lucas joined in after setting Jungwoo down in the room.
"Yo you're right, slumber party!" Mark high fived Lucas.
"Does it count as a slumber party if you live together?" You walked away from the too himbos in the hallway.
Johnny shrugged, "Let them have their fun."
"Whatever~" You said in a sing-song voice checking on the sleeping pups who promptly woke up just to pull you into the pile and go back to sleep.
"You brats- Johnny help me!" You reach out for Johnny who just shrugs and shuts the door. "Traitor!" You pout.
You'd think that with it being so hot, they wouldn't want to cuddle but I guess nothing stops cuddly pups from being cuddly. You sighed and accept your faith, eventually falling asleep with them.
Tumblr media
Y'know it was a peaceful sleep, that is until you were woken up by a pouty Jeno who complained about his painful sunburn.
Somewhere else (Mafia!Au) Reader x Doyoung
"Doyoung. I choose Doyoung."
Tumblr media
As much as the look Johnny gave you hurt, you couldn't deal with him any longer. "I've tried too hard for too long Johnny, if you won't come around I can't wait any more. It's too hard for me."
"Y/N please I can-" Johnny immiedately tried to plead but Taeyong raised his hand and stood up.
"It's been decided. The date will remain but decorations will change as the new groom and bride see fit. If you have an objection, I will not hear it. Y/N has made up her mind." Taeyong looked directly at Johnny and the two walked away, Johnny turning back a few times but you couldn't meet his eyes.
Doyoung went over to you and held your hands, "Don't worry about him, he'll be fine." His hand hesistantly touched your cheek and you leaned into it and sighed, closing your eyes.
You stayed like that for a minute before opening your eyes and smiling, "We've got some work for our wedding."
The following weeks were spent with the preparations for the wedding. Because of your decision, there were some things that changed last minute. Like the flowers changing from a deep blue and white to (your favorite color) and light blue.
Presently, you sat before a mirror with a stylist putting the final touches to your hair. You told her a quick 'thank you' and she took her leave. You stood up and backed away, able to get a full look of yourself in the mirror and smiled tiredly. You looked beautiful, like a angel. Yet you were nervous. Johnny hasn't spoken to you since then, he didn't even spare a glance anymore. You played with the braclet in your hands anxiously, was he even there? You weren't sure why you worried so much, he never made an effort. But then again, you would be family after today, family should be close. Finally you were pulled out of your thoughts when a knock came from the door.
"Come in" You said sitting down on the couch in the room, grabbing a snack.
Johnny walked in, awkwardly holding a small box. "You look.. beautiful today."
"Thank you," You smiled, the tense in the room thick enough to be cut by a knife. "What's that?" You point to the box.
"An offering of sorts." He handed it over to you, "I just wanted to make amends, so there's no ill feelings between us since you'll be apart of the family.. I don't want you to be uncomfortable in the house."
You open the box and reveal a ring with music notes engraved into it. "It's so pretty, thank you Johnny." You smile to him and put it on.
"You're going to put it on now? During the ceremony?" Johnny looked shocked.
"Of course, it goes with my necklace," You motion to the rosegold necklace that matched wonderfully with the ring.
"Well, I'll get going then, see you-" Johnny started to leave but you stood up and put your hand out. He looked at you confused but grabbed your hand.
You pulled him into a quick hug, "Thanks for coming Johnny. I'm glad to be apart of this family and I hope we can be close one day. I say this is a good step forward."
Johnny nods and smiles, waving bye as he leaves.
The wedding went perfectly. Though the flower girls were overtaken by Haechan and Jungwoo, the clowns were going up and down the rows throwing flowers at everyone. It filled the hall with laughter, the mood was upbeat and bright. You held hands with Doyoung as he subtly wiped a tear away, replacing it with a bright smile. You said your vows together and after was the reception, where you two had shared the first dance.
"I don't think there's anyone in the world whose as beautiful as my wife." Doyoung hummed quietly, his head on yours.
"Likewise, nobody can beat my husband's looks. Except maybe a cute bunny." You teased.
He grabbed your hand and put it on his heart, "As long as I'm the only one in your heart, I can live with that."
You chuckled and nodded. He kissed you deeply.
"I love you Mrs. Kim."
"I love you too Mr. Kim."
No Where (Mafia!AU) Johnny x Reader
"The agreement was that I marry Johnny... I can't go back now."
Tumblr media
You looked apologetically at Doyoung as the words fell out of your mouth.
"Very well, then the marriage is still on." Taeyong nodded, and stood up from the table. The following weeks were spent with the preparations for the wedding, since your decision things began moving quickly.
Now you sat before a mirror, a stylist curling the final pieces in your hair. You told her a quick 'thank you' and she took her leave. You stood up and backed away, able to get a full look of yourself in the mirror and smiled tiredly. You looked beautiful, like a fairy. Yet you were scared. Johnny had gotten better lately, he doesn't ignore you anymore and has even made you dinner a few times. You seemed to have really gotten closer. Doyoung though, you haven't talked since. You played with the veil in your hands anxiously, was he even there? You weren't sure. You wanted him there. Suddenly, a soft knock was at the door.
"Come in," You answered, sitting at the couch and grabbing a drink.
"Wow, look at you." Doyoung offered a smile as he walked in, a small gift in his hand. "I don't think I've ever seen you look this beautiful."
"Don't tease me," You meet his smile and playful tone with your own. "What's that?" You point to the box.
"It's a congratulation and 'i'm sorry' gift, for you." He sat next to you and opened it. It was a braclet, a charm of a bunny was on it. "I haven't been ignoring you these few weeks- well not on purpose. I really have been busy and been meaning to talk to you, I swear."
"It's ok, I get it." You hold the braclet delicately, "It's adorable, thank you Doyoung. Can you put it on me?"
"You're going to wear it during the ceremony?" Doyoung took it back and questioned, cautiously.
"I will, it goes with my earrings." You moved your hair slightly to show the silver earrings you wore, "It's perfect."
Doyoung nodded and clicked it on your wrist, "There you go, you're right it looks nice."
You both smiled at each other and you stood up. "You know, my father isn't around anymore to walk me down the aisle, would you mind?"
"I-... Y/N are you sure? Your mother or (sibling) could do it. Plus what if Johnny gets mad?" He puts his hands up defensively, he wanted to avoid conflict on your big day.
You take his hand, "I want you to do it, Doyoung. You're one of the biggest influences in my life. Don't worry about Johnny, he already knows. He doesn't want any of his brothers to feel like he doesn't like them, you know. Please?"
Doyoung nodded. The wedding planner knocked on the door to notify that the ceremony would be taking place soon.
The wedding couldn't have gone better. Doyoung walked you down the aisle, the flower girls threw flowers around you. Your hand let go of Doyoung's and held onto Johnny's. Johnny and Doyoung nodded and even smiled to each other. You said your vows, the reception went flawlessly. You and Johnny shared the first dance, where you had a quiet conversation.
"You look beautiful, have I told you that yet?" Johnny's head was down by your neck.
"Yes, many times. Though I must say, you look just as handsome in this suit." You laid your head on his shoulder. Even if there were hundreds of eyes on you both, it didn't feel like it. All you could focus on was Johnny.
"Did this go as well as you hoped? Have I made my wife happy?" He spoke once again.
"Very happy." You smiled, "I don't think I could've hoped for anything more. Thank you Johnny, thank you for giving me a chance, thank you for-"
"Shh, none of that. I should thank you. You gave me a chance, this relationship is all thanks to you and persistence. Just like I said earlier, your happiness is all I want til the end of our days."
You chuckled, "You're so cheesy, Mr. Suh."
"Only for you Mrs. Suh." He kissed you deeply.
Where do you think you're going? MafiaAu! Johnny x Reader x Doyoung
One shot with Mafia Member Johnny and his fiancé Y/N, it's an arranged marriage. Neither of you are happy about it but that doesn't mean you try to make it more difficult as there's no way around it. Perhaps, if you both got closer this would be easier? Will he want to?
Tumblr media
"What are you doing, my love?" Johnny asked as he stood up from the desk in your shared bedroom.
"Going out," You replied adjusting the necklace you wore, checking your appearance in the vanity mirror once more. You turned to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek, you forced a smile as you turned to leave.
But he grabbed your wrist, "Who said you could go?" His eyes looked at you half-lidded.
"Taeyong did. He said I can have as much freedom as you, I've been well behaved since I got here." You pulled you arm away from him.
"You're up to something aren't you? Don't try to pull any funny business-"
"You're paranoid, Johnny. I'm already your fiancé, where could I go?" You cut him off, your thoughts running a hundred miles per hour as you've never spoke to him like this before. Where did this sudden confidence come from?
"You will go with a few guards."
"I will not."
"You will do as I say. If you are my wife you will listen to me."
"I will not." You said again, glaring at him, "As your future wife, I will not respect nor listen to a man who speaks to me like this."
"Respect goes both ways, Johnny." Doyoung butted in, leaning against the doorway. "Come on, y/n. We need to get going."
"Where are you two going?" You could see Johnny's eyes darken, you had no idea what was going through his mind but it didn't stop you from quickly going to Doyoung's side.
"If you have any concerns or reason to refuse, you can talk to Taeyong. We won't be gone for long." Doyoung replied shortly and with that you walked out of the mansion with him.
"You don't have to get on his bad side for me." You spoke quietly as the two of you sat in the back of one of the cars.
"And he doesn't get to be so possessive over you, considering how much he protested about this arrangement." Doyoung watched outside the window. You chuckled lightly.
"Perhaps I should marry you instead, you'll actually talked to me." You joked to lightening the mood.
"It's not too late, we could ask Tae to change it." He suggested, not sparing a glance at you but with a hint of hope in his voice. You shook your head no.
"Something tells me that he won't take too kindly to that. Johnny, I mean. Besides, I don't mind. I think he could be nice, this is just some strange barrier he's put up. Then again, I would too if I was a top ranking member in Ncity."
"You want to marry him? Don't you always complain about his attitude? Isn't he always cold to you?" Doyoung turned to look at you, finally. You smiled at him and looked down at your hands.
"Yes, he ignores me but perhaps it's because he doesn't get to know me? If we can pull this off, maybe this will chip at that barrier and we can get along at least. I don't want to marry a statue, nor have a stressful married life." Doyoung put a hand on your shoulder and offered a small smile.
"Of course, just remember if this falls through, I'm always here. Even if we don't love each other, I won't let you be miserable." You playfully kissed his hand and he quickly retracted it with a look of playful disgust.
"Thank you, Prince Charming. I'll never forget your kindness." You poked your tongue out and he flicked your forehead. You both laughed, ah a genuine laugh. It felt like forever since the last time you did, considering Johnny hardly let you leave.
--------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Hours had gone by, the sun was going down and you were finally on your way back to the mansion. Doyoung was in the courtyard, just on the other side of the tree line, finishing up your surprise picnic for Johnny. There was a picnic bench with fairy lights hanging from tree to tree. You'd bought a strawberry cake, made some chili soup and brought wine for the two of you. You had to ask some of the other members, but eventually you found out this was the food and drink he liked most. Surely he'll see your sincerity to work this out. You walked upstairs to your room, and walked in with a smile on your face. It quickly faded when you were met with an angry Johnny. He jumped up and came up to you quickly.
"Where were you?" He growled lowly, "Why didn't you answer your phone? Why were you gone so long? How come you didn't even text me?" You put your hands up and tried to back up but you were against the wall.
"Johnny, I- my phone died, I didn't think we'd-" Johnny didn't let you finish before he slammed his hand against the wall, right next to your head.
"'We' oh right! You've been hanging out with your little boy toy all day, right? What have you two been doing all day hm? Already cheating on me? Even if we aren't married yet, you think it's ok to go and sleep around?" He berated you so much you couldn't get a word in, the noise from right next to your head already brought tears to your eyes out of fear. Now he was just yelling in your face and you couldn't defend yourself.
"What? Nothing to say now right? You think I don't notice how often you're with him? Leaving me here by myself while you go on stupid little dates?" Suddenly Johnny was pushed away from you, your legs buckling in but someone wrapped their arms around your waist, holding you against them.
"Johnny. That's enough, how can you talk to her like this?" Jaehyun had stepped in, he could hear the commotion from down the hall and it sounded out of hand. You looked to the one that you were clinging to and it was Mark. He gave you a quick smile before pulling you back onto your feet, he led you outside the room.
"Where do you think you're going?!" Johnny tried to push past Jaehyun who kept him in the room. "This has nothing to do with you guys so stay out of it." He growled.
"Are you ok?" Mark asked as the two of you made it downstairs, far enough to not hear Johnny's yelling.
"I was- I was just trying to.." You whimpered as tears fell down your face. You couldn't get the words out, you were scared. So scared of him in that moment, sure he's been mad but never directed at you like that. You were trying to do something nice for him, but did he deserve it after this?
"Y/N! What's wrong? What happened?" A worried Doyoung ran over. You shook your head as he wiped some tears away with his thumb, looking at Mark for an explanation.
"Johnny had a bad day, a few things were falling through, I don't know what happened between them but he's furious." Mark rubbed the back of his neck, "Then again, I think he's had a little to drink as well." Doyoung gritted his teeth, just because he had a bad day doesn't mean he can take it out on you.
"Did he hurt you? I swear if he did I-"
"No.. he just hit the wall..." You sniffled looking up at him, "Can we go, I don't wanna be here." You squeaked as your voice sounded so drained. Doyoung nodded and grabbed your hand, leading you out and to the picnic made for Johnny. You sat at the picnic table and Doyoung offered some of the food.
"Even if he doesn't come, doesn't mean you should starve, right?" Doyoung set a bowl and poured some of the soup into it, handing you a spoon.
"He hates me right?" Your grip on the spoon tightened, if you had more energy it could snap. You looked at the soup, trying to bite back anymore tears from falling.
"Who cares? He doesn't deserve you! His attitude is out of control, he's got no right to do that to you." Doyoung raised his voice slightly, lowering it immediately as he's sure you've had enough of yelling coming at your way.
"I tried, right? Did I try hard enough?" You looked at Doyoung, sadness written all over your face. "Should we just break the engagement?" Doyoung reached over and held your hand.
"You did everything you could to get closer with him, it's his fault that he didn't appreciate it and try as well. You wanted to make peace, he became controlling, that's not what you deserve." You nodded, both of your hands holding onto his.
"I'll talk to Tae-" Doyoung was cut off by a fake cough beside you both.
"I'm aware of the situation." Taeyong stood, a steaming Johnny beside him.
"Get away from my fiancé, Doyoung. I knew you've been cheating on me with him." Johnny glared at the both of you. Taeyong put his hand up, signaling for Johnny to shut up.
"I know your side of the story, I want to hear theirs." You kept your head down, not sure if you can face Johnny. So Doyoung spoke instead, getting up and standing in front of them.
"You are absolutely ridiculous, Johnny. You're so blinded by jealousy you don't even realize everything she's done for you, have you?" Doyoung gestured the set up, "She made this for you! All day! We've gone store to store, getting your favorite foods. Getting fairy lights and lanterns. Just for you! So that you would see she wants to be on good terms with you! She's been trying since the engagement was announced! And what did you do? Confine her to your room, yell at her, accuse her of cheating? You don't deserve Y/N, you've made that so obvious." Doyoung chewed Johnny out, when he finished he panted out of breath but still seething with anger.
"She did this for me?.. How long did you plan this?" He tried to ask you but you wouldn't spare him a glance. Part of you felt happiness as Doyoung said all the words you'd never be able to get out.
"Weeks. We tried every weekend, you brushed her off and always 'had' to go do some assignment." Doyoung glared, before turning to Taeyong. "Tae, don't make her suffer and marry him. He's making her miserable. I know you want her in the family, I'll marry her. I'll do it, Tae please don't make her marry him, he doesn't deserve her."
"That's not true! I will marry her. I love her more than he ever will. She'll be my wife." Johnny raised his voice.
"You don't! You're a liar." Taeyong raised his hand again and made them end their yelling match.
"I will not make the decision for her. It's her future." He walked past them and sat across from you. You looked up to him shyly, playing with your hands anxiously in your lap.
"Y/N, who do you want to marry?" You glanced at them, but Taeyong put his hand up blocking your view from them. "Don't look at them, who would you rather be with?" He asked gently but with authority in his voice.
"I choose... I choose..."
"I have a proposal" NCT Mafia Au
~Just a random idea I had~
Tumblr media
Several cars waited in front of the gate, a gate that said "Ncity" on top of it. Anyone would recognize this as the home of the notorious mafia family, NCT. One of the biggest families out there, they were really well known all around Korea and feared. So who dares to request an audience with this family?
"What are you wearing to the banquet?" A guard standing next to the driver side asked, peering into the car in the backseat.
"Black on black, perhaps with some chains." A man, well dressed in a dark grey suit replied, he adjusted his watch as he kept his eyes forward at the mansion in front of them.
The guard stepped away and nodded to the others, the gates opened and the cars pulled up, parking in front of the mansion. Out came 7 men, all dressed in suits like the first man. They looked experienced, and rich. Whoever they were, they meant business. They walked up to the door, the youngest of this group knocked on the door.
Another man answered the door, he wore a button up red shirt, black dress pants, hair slicked back and sported an expensive watch as well. He eyed this group up and down.
"Kun. What pleasure do we have to see you all here today?" The man smiled at them, it seemed fake and perhaps it was.
"I'm sure Taeyong has informed you all already, Johnny." Kun replied, returning the smile.
"Right, the meeting you requested. Very well, follow me gentlemen."
Johnny led the group into a sort of dinning room, the table was long with many chairs, Kun wasn't sure how many people would be in this meeting but he was prepared for the whole family if needed. He sat at one end of the table, his group sitting beside him.
"I'll tell Taeyong of your arrival, feel free to ask our maids for drinks." Johnny bowed his head to them and left.
One of Kun's boys couldn't stop playing with his rings nervously, he's heard so much of NCT but wasn't sure how they would react to Kun's plan. Another leaned over, putting his hand over the nervous boy's fidgeting ones.
"Jungwoo, calm down. Kun's got this." He smiled to the slightly older male.
Jungwoo whispered back, "I know Lucas, but what if I mess something up?"
"Nonsense, Jungwoo you've trained for this, you'll be great." Kun chimed in crossing his hands on the table.
Eventually the door opened once more, Taeyong walked through followed by about 12 others. They all took their places at the table, Taeyong sitting on the opposite end from Kun.
"Wayv, what an occasion for us to meet like this," Taeyong was the first to speak up, "I do wonder what this meeting is about?"
Kun smiled to the leader in front of him, "I have a proposal for you, Taeyong."
This peaked everyone's interest. They were NCT, they had anything you could think, what could a small family like Wayv possibly have to offer them?
Kun took the silence to continue talking, "I've heard that some of your boys have been in my territory. Apparently, you've been trying to take my business? I wonder what NCT is doing in China?"
Taeyong laughed and leaned on his hand as he watched Kun for a moment, "I see nothing gets past you Kun. It's true. We have been scouting out in China. There's some opportunities out there that I've been highly interested in. Why? Is that a problem for you?" He raised a challenging eyebrow.
Kun laughed as well, "Of course not. I'd be here to announce a war then, but that's no fun is it?"
"What are you suggesting then?" Yuta spoke up, his tone was harsh.
"Yuta, that's not how we speak to guests. But I am curious Kun, let's cut to the chase. What do you want?" Taeyong scolded Yuta as he turned back to Kun.
"I propose a partnership." As the words left his mouth, the NCT members began whispering among themselves.
"Oh? What does this partnership offer us exactly?"
"Well you'll share our established claims in China, as well as our branch in Thailand. Perhaps you can have some of contracts in Germany as well."
"You're a small group, how could you possibly have all these connections?" A member named Doyoung questioned, he leaned back in his chair with his arms crossed. He simply voiced everyone's suspicions.
Kun smiled once more, "Our group may be small, but we are very diverse. Shall I introduce my members?"
Taeyong nodded, waving his hand in a way to signal him to go on.
"Well let's start with my right hand, Ten. He runs our Thailand operations." Kun spoke, Ten stood up and bowed to them all. "While Thailand is main responsibility, he also handles many of our connections thanks to him knowing 4 languages fluently."
"What languages do you speak?" Johnny raised his hand and asked.
"Korean, English, Thai, Chinese and currently learning Japanese." He replied as he sat down again.
"You speak Japanese? Prove it then." Yuta spoke to him.
"I said I am learning Japanese, I am not fluent in it yet but I hope it is adequate enough for you." Ten replied, without a stutter, definitely impressing Yuta as he nodded to Taeyong.
"Interesting, he would be useful, how else do you have?"
"This is Lucas and Jungwoo, our spies." Jungwoo and Lucas stood up and bowed as well. "They can get us just about any information. Like the passcode to get into Ncity." Kun motioned them to sit down.
"And how'd you manage that?" Taeil spoke up this time.
"With our handsome looks, and sweet talking? Anything is possible." Lucas replied confidently. Jungwoo stayed quiet.
"Jungwoo, that's not a traditional Chinese name is it?" Taeyong asked curiously.
"I'm Korean, sir." He finally spoke up.
"Ah I see, continue Kun."
"We have Xiaojun and Hendrey, our hackers. Yangyang, the one who handles our German affairs."
"Interesting bunch you have here Kun." Taeyong applauded. "I will admit, having these assets would be beneficial to Ncity. But let's not ignore the elephant in the room, what do you want out of this?"
"All we want is part of the Ncity empire. Anyone would be foolish to ignore the influence and power of NCT. Though we are a small group, we are willing to be loyal and benefit this family, if you let us."
"Words can be broken easily, how will you prove your loyalty?" Doyoung asked.
"We offer one of our members to you. You may do as you will with Jungwoo." Kun gestured to him. "If we must, we will all go through your trainings as well."
Taeyong clapped and laughed once more, "I like this spirit of yours Kun! A go-getter, a man who knows what he wants! You'll even offer us one of your few men? You must be serious."
Kun smiled back to him and bowed his head "Of course, Taeyong. I never joke about matters like this."
"Tell you what, Kun. I accept your proposal. As a sign of my sincerity, we will give you one of our family members as well." Taeyong looked among his members. "We have a few Chinese members of our own, I'm sure they were the ones you spotted in your territory. Have your pick. Renjun, part of the Dream unit and our secondary medic, Chenle, also part of the Dream unit and bomb specialist, or Winwin, our sniper and spy." Taeyong motioned for them to stand up, they did and bowed to Kun, greeting him in Chinese.
Ten leaned over to Kun and whispered to him. Kun nodded.
"Taeyong, I respect your sincerity and I believe Winwin will be a great asset to our team." Taeyong stood up and walked around the table to Kun, shaking his hand. "Kun, I look forward to working with you. I'll properly welcome all of you to our wonderful family once you go through our training. My teachers won't go easy on you all, I hope that's ok."
"Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less." Kun smiled. Winwin and Jungwoo exchanging glances, Jungwoo didn't notice the glares he was getting from Yuta specifically.
Mark the day, NCT's family has grown, an extra 7 members this glorious day!
