Finished an Ironclad that I had sitting at the 75% mark for months. Finally filled my army tray- it's totally just a baking pan with a sheet of printer paper lining the bottom for friction. (All of my models are magnetized)

Been dead forever bc real life. Starting some Trenchers, here's the Leader's progress. Gonna paint the leader first, then have the rest colored the exact same way. I'll have to figure out someway to make the Leader immediately distinguishable at a glance though.

Finally finished my fourth and final Hunter, "Checkers". All of these Hunters I got secondhand (4th photo is how I got them, the Thunderhead is also a secondhand, I've since stripped and reconstructed it, but still have yet to base and paint it) and I finally have them all together and painted. Armor beware. Lore™: the Hunters operate in pairs, Lucky and Wild, Stripes and Checkers

Colossal Reclamation Project: Stormwall
Finally back to painting the second hand Stormwall, and boy, is it giving me trouble.
As a note to myself (and others), Purple Power, a degreaser often used as a paint stripper for used models, definitely affects resin. The upper torso, as shown in the last photo, cracked where I have filled with putty. Rough.

The left mini is a model I painted in 2014, when I first actually got into the miniatures hobby. The right mini is the same sculpt, finished today. (2018, if this is being looked back upon, much later). Though it should be noted that I didn’t paint consistently in those 4 years. Still, it’s kinda cool to see the differences.
The first mini I ever painted was an Ultramarine from one of those buy and paint kits when I was in freshman year back in 06 or something. I no longer have it, unfortunately.

Finally finished these Field Mechaniks. I wanted the focal point of the grunts to be the Jack arm, so I put in more colors there than anywhere else. I thought painting the Leader's shoulder armor like the Ironclad's was pretty clever

Played my first game of 2018 earlier today (technically yesterday). It was Cygnar (Stryker1) v. Grymkin (Heretic), 75 points. A lot of infantry to cut through- I wasn't going to be able to win on scenario since I had so few models that could hold circle zones. So I just did my best to punch a hole through his screen to his Warlock and shoot him with as many of my ranged jacks as I could. Thanks to Earthquake, it worked.

My latest model is my orc ex-cop for Shadowrun, who for the time being, only goes by "Han." I was going for a zen garden look with the base. The mini is the "Dynamic Isseki" (totally-not-Batou) from the HassleFree line with some tusks I sculpted on with green stuff.
