The nature had also made this interesting ice figure today on my stone altar in our garden. I'm happy now that I went outside to cut off icicles from the birdfeeder, since I would have missed a lot, if I had just stayed inside. Yes it was cold and slippery at times, but totally worth of freezing my fingers for 🥰🥰🥰

What a weird weather... it practically rained ice/ icy water today and now everything out there is glazed with ice. It sure looks pretty, but it's also dangerous and can be even deadly. Very slippery roads and I hope the cold wont harm the tree buds too badly or any other plants that already started growing like our tulips for instance. Now thay are buried in the snow and glazed with ice. The pine needles felt strange, when I touched them with my gloves. Beautiful coloured though, but they're all glazed also. The temperature is -0,3°C at the moment. ❄️

The Raven's Departure
In the twilight I wait for sleep,
darling by my side.
My mind is full of words,
must write, must, MUST!
When did I notice that I was happy?
At least now, here.
A moment does not last forever,
though it's longer than yesterday.
I have got a lot, too much even,
satisfied with so little.
Man is and will be
always the same.
I think, think and ponder:
What would I change, if I could?
And why couldn't I?
Why would I change even if I could?
Here I am and that's good.
Big world around,
its beauty is astounding.
A feather was found on the floor,
I guess black has changed to white.
Gone is the raven,
it has nested in the corner of another bed.

I'm not sure, whether it's just the extra skin or is she carrying babies. Either way, she is absolutely beautiful 😍😍😍💜💜💜🐰
I believe this is Thumper 2, the more shy and jumpy one of the two hares, that has been visiting us the whole winter. I think she might also be the same young hare, who came to our yard last spring and dayrested few weeks in our flower bed. 💜💜💜
Thumper 2 was in our yard several times today. Thumper 1 stopped by too, since I believe she was the one I photographed first today (earlier post). Later this evening we had three hares running around the apple tree, until one of them chased the others away. I took out some more oats/ seeds and one slized apple and it didn't take long for two of the hares to come to eat.
I just love them so! 🥰🥰🥰

Eurasian Red Squirrel (Orava)
Long time that I've been able to photograph squirrel this close. 🥰🥰🥰 All but last photo are cropped from a larger photograph, but the quality is much better, because the squirrel was closer to me on the ground and it was in bright daylight. I love the third closeup shot the most, since the squirrel looks like its smiling 💜🐿

European Brown Hare (Rusakko)

Western Jackdaw (Naakka)
This poor fellow had one leg been cut (bitten) by half. It was missing the toes. I noticed it crawling in the snow and thought first that it had a broken wing. I soon discovered that it was limping and that its other leg was only a stub. I took more food outside for the animals and the Jackdaw let me come quite close, before it flew away. I felt joy since when a bird can fly, it has a chance to survive. Stub leg is only going to slow it down a little. At least I hope so 🙂💜
The hare came in daylight, which isn't totally strange, but not in common either. Not quite sure if it was Thumper 1, but it might have been. Strange to see them in so bright light 😄 It is sunny outside now, so it hurts my eyes to look out of the windows too long. The snow makes it worse and it can be blinding. At least it has stopped snowing! I hope the snow melts fast and the spring can finally begin. 💜🌿💜🌿💜🌿💜
