sometimes things aren't meant to be and your heart beats a little slower; you think this feeling in your gut should be despair, but it's not. "dodged some kind of cosmic bullet" was in my head a lot this month.

kinda… really going at my own pace with these since i found out about these prompts + started late, but i’ve always loved drawing pieces based on music, and it just so happens fob has played a consistent starring role way before my current unwellness kicked in lmfao so it felt good to go back to my roots in a way!

a lot of these will probably be self-portraits (or sonas) simply because it’s the easiest thing for me to draw and tap into. I Am My Own Muse by Fall Out Boy and all that

under the cut was meant to be a tidy writeup of this piece, but i thought this screenshot of a text i sent to a friend (re: my first fob concert in SG 2023) summed it up best. treatment-wise, it’s just… true blue.

jan2024: some people do tarot readings, some people do horoscopes, and some people do divination soundtracks

my yearly real-time song rec thread was a bust, so i’m doing monthly playlists now!

this was initially a divination playlist of sorts (ie. the songs stuck your head when you wake up being a way to fortell the day/year ahead) but now that January is over, it’s like…. i want some more! so we’ll see if i do the whole year.
