Kronos from Class of the Titans is what masked men on Tik Tok wish they were

Here's some more of my CotT OC, Picus "Pike" Cassinius Saturnus, the young king of ancient Latium.

After he was revived from his time as a statue, it takes a while for him to adjust to this strange new future.

However, he's a great help to the heroes (especially Herry) for their Pre-History & Intro to Budgeting homework. Picus used to manage several major trade partnerships since the age of 13, after all!

And yes, his middle name Cassinius is based upon the Cassini-Huygens mission to map the rings of Saturn... Sue me...

Class of the Titans Fanfic: The Other Side of the Drachma

“ A month after the events of Phantom Rising, the Seven Heroes are faced with perhaps the strangest adventure yet. Worlds collide, the planet is in peril...again, and help is given from the last person any of them would ever expect. “

I started this fanfiction back in 2021, and currently working on Chapter 13: “Dead Men Tell No Fishing Tales”. It’s taken me a while, but by the gods I’m gonna keep writing! 

Here are some of the OCs from my fanfiction "The Other Side of the Drachma".

In order from left to right, we have: Saturn, Ananke, Pike, Hyperion, and Circe!

Saturn - This is Cronus' new chosen name. The heroes defeated him in this AU by making him a friend, no longer their foe. Now, he is Jay's main mentor, and the god that runs Elysium under Hades' watchful eye.

Ananke - She's the wily Mother of the Fates, Necessity Herself! She and Saturn reconnected after he was out on parole. One thing led to another, and they're now happily married.

Pike - Also known as the young King Picus from Ancient Roman lore, he's an Etruscan demi-god and son of Saturn. When he refused Circe's romantic advances back in the day, she turned him to stone. The heroes in this AU were able to revive him, but he'd already lost his arm. Now, he is a love interest for this AU's Herry.

Hyperion - With Cronus defeated, the heroes still have a major threat to face: Hyperion, the OG Sun God! He's the eldest son of Uranus & Gaia, has a terribly short temper, and he's constantly on the warpath to reclaim the throne of the gods. (He's just not very good at it.)

Circe - She's that Circe, from the Odyssey. Granddaughter of Hyperion, she is a powerful sorceress and commander of Hyperion's forces. She holds a soft spot in her icy heart for Pike, as well as Odie, who reminds her of Odysseus.

Picus is very serious about the Harvest Season...

It’s been a while, but I’ve circled back around to “Class of the Titans”, one of my special interests. Here’s an old sketch from 2018, where I took a crack at what I thought the other titans could have looked like!

More sketches to come, once I dust off my sketching skills, lol.

wait so Herry is a descendant of Hercules and Hercules is one of Zeus' sons

Did they really make Theresa being related to poseidon such a big deal when Herry is related to the king of the gods himself

CotT Headcanon: Granny

(Forgive me if this is already on the tumblrs as i write it, I just haven’t seen and/or remembered if someone posted this thought before me.)

Herry is a descendant of Hercules on Granny’s side! She displays a rather impressive amount of strength, dexterity, and stamina for how old she is animated to look. There are even pictures in her house (S1E12: Prisoner Campe) of her doing stuff like skiing, fishing, and “running with the bulls” with Herry. In that same episode, she has less trouble hiking up the Caucasus mountains than anticipated when Chronos captured her. She only needed a rest once they were already several hundred feet up. Pretty impressive for a grandma in her bunny slippers. 

I believe she doesn’t actually need her cane. It’s for show, for making people underestimate her strength. And I think Chronos realized that when she swatted at Agnon in that episode. I think that’s why he grins and allows for a short rest on their way to the Temple of Prometheus... He’s amused by the fact that she too is likely a descendant of Hercules. 

This just in: Etruscan demi-god to be abducted by archery twins. More at eleven.

Here’s my CotT OC!! Or FC?? He is Picus, as in King Picus from Roman lore. He only has been revived in my AU where Cronus is an ally/mentor to the heroes. “Pike” became a minor deity of farming and bow hunting in ancient Italy. He is a son of Cronus (called Saturn in the AU). Pike was turned to stone by Circe the witch, and was presumed dead for thousands of years.

In regular CotT universe, he was excavated and displayed in a museum. But in the AU, the Heroes found him before archaeologists and were able to revive him! Following this, Hermes granted him the gift of “you can also speak English now”, which helps him communicate with the gang. His left arm broke off over the centuries, so Hephaestus made him a new one. He stays mostly with Demeter to help her on the farm, but visits the kids in the city sometimes. 

 In my fanfic “The Other Side of the Drachma”, Pike has a huge crush on  AU Herry, and AU Herry has a huge crush on him. But they’re super oblivious. AU Neil is making it his mission to play match-maker...

Fandom: Class of the Titans (Cartoon) Rating: Not Rated

Summary: A month after the events of Phantom Rising, the Seven Heroes are faced with perhaps their strangest adventure yet. Worlds collide, the planet is in peril...again, and help is given from the last person any of them would ever expect.

So, I began that fanfic I had mentioned a while ago! The Seven Heroes get stuck (temporarily) in an Alternate Universe where Cronus is an ally! I only have two chapters as I create this post, but I am working hard to write more. Let me know what you guys think! :) 

So its been a while since I’ve done CotT art… Quarantine has been stealing all my dopamine. But! I started rewatching CotT and playing the new Animal Crossing!

What kind of animal villagers do you guys think the heroes would be? The only ideas I have so far is Herry being a Lion, and Neil being a Horse? I want to draw them in that style, its so cuuuute!!!

A while back, I had this sort of idea for a possible mini-arch of Class of the Titans. In this arch, the kids end up in a different dimension where Cronus ends up friendly & an ally to the kids there. The Prophecy in this other dimension is for the Seven to defeat Uranus before He can destroy the world.

Still not sure how the alternate Cronus became more of a trickster than a villain, but I thought it would be cool to explore the events that locked Cronus as the Big Bad. 

I based this off the mythology that Cronus and the Roman god Saturn are usually considered the same deity; on top of that, Cronus is sometimes referred to as the King of Elysium. In the alternate dimension, Cronus was somehow able to move past things, was let out of Tartarus early by Zeus himself, and started life anew as “Saturn”. He works in the Underworld by maintaining Elysium, but he’s gotten...restless. He’s still fickle and tells similar jokes, but his focus is not to destroy the Seven. If anything, he would seek to help the other gods to train them. Perhaps he could even be Other-Jay’s mentor?! 

Given all of this, the Seven from the Prime dimension would be very suspicious. Jay more than anyone else would likely try to defeat Saturn on the spot. It would take Saturn’s careful behavior as well as the Seven Heroes to convince them all to work together. 

I might write some of this into a fanfic someday, but it’s still a half-baked idea for now. ((I’m using this idea of Saturn in a D&D campaign I’m writing for my friends if anyone wants me to share some stuff on that just lemme know!))
