Random story of how i may or may not have seen NCT in real life before i even knew who they were
(I'm not good at writing long sentences and this is a true story)
I have a random memory of when I was around 14/15 around 2016-2017ish of being on trip to Kyoto with my mother in the Arashiyama Bamboo Garden and for some reason I distinctly remember a group of people with cameras filming a group of men in a kinda a cornered off area (where people wouldn't be filmed behind them/it's a huge tourist destination so it was very crowed)
One of them was holding up a random flag and shouting something, but I couldn't understand because it was in a different language
Anyway, do you know what was released in 2017? NCT life in Osaka
And there was this one scene!?
Like it's literally the same place and time period and everything jwbdke

I took my friend who is not an nctzen to her first ever nct 127 and first concert today and here are some of the things she said (we're both japanese btw)
1. *Jaehyun smiles - he's got nice dimples
2. *watching Taeyong dance and talk- he's really cute
3. ^me telling her that he is the leader - he's the leader!?
4.*Yuta's introducing himself after me telling her one of them is japanese - Is that one Yuta?
5. *Listening to the members speaking japanese with a Korean accent - they sound so cute (many Koreans can't say つ/tsu or z sounds, so it often ends up being ch or j)
She thinks they way they said かぜにきをつけてね (be careful not to catch a cold) was especially cute
6. *Mark introducing himself (I told her the members once called Mark Makgeolli cause it sounds familiar and I kept calling him that for her to remember him) - is that- (me eith a straight face) yes Makgeolli
7. *Doesn't know of Yuta's obsession with Mark - pointing and yelling at me to look at Yuta running to and hugging him
8. *Jungwoo saying he likes konbini and the all the members go everytime they come to japan (Doyoung said with a sad face that he didn't go)
^jungwoo explaining how he likes to try new things each time and how he really like the curry bread - (both of us knowing that's only sold at 7/11) -ohh 7/11 curry bread, he's not lying that's some real good curry bread
