Its 1am and Ive just spent the past half hour rambling to my entire discord server on why I think that Dominion of the Dark Djinn conveys the core message of Ni No Kuni better than Wrath of the White Witch despite being essentially the same story. None of them are awake. Only exactly one of them has ever played Ni No Kuni and gave up halfway through. Her name is Ariel and she's an acrobat in the Circus of Bremen, a traveling circus run by a group of reformed pirates. Most of her act consists of aerialist ropes and sword duels. She's the most socialable of the group, and actually wants to leave the circus to pursue her own dreams of exploring the world.
