I did a bad job of launching this yesterday so I'm GOING AGAIN.
WHAT'S AN UNBIRTHDAY REQUEST?
Is today NOT your birthday? You deserve an unbirthday present! I used to do these giveaways on DA a few times a year, and they were always really fun. Basically you send me a request and I use it for art warm ups. I'm on vacation this week and I want to play with my paints, markers, pens and pencils.
Your request can be anything! Your OCs, my OCs, fandom, vibes based, pet portrait, landscapes, whatever you like!
Because this is a request based thing, if I don't want to draw something I just won't. But I usually draw most if not all of the requests I get.
You don't have to be following me to make a request but I tend to favor familiar faces first.
This is: a chance for a free small drawings of an item of your choice
This is not: a commission, a large detailed request, a promise

god i was struggling with this when trying to come up with paternity clothes for janus. it FEELS like there should be more options besides "big dress" and "big shirt" but it's hard to find any inspiration because... well because pregnancy clothes irl are gendered and designing for people with larger bodies has always been something the industry sucks at. But yeah, pinterest for the win.
One of my pet peeves with Mpreg is clothing. Typically shirts. Never understood the need for a dress, just feels it lacks creativity. Course now, I understand every artist depicts it how they want. Yet, in a world where men can get pregnant, trans or not, you'd think there'd be more clothing options. What do you think?
I think from my perspective, the pain I suffer is: trying to find inspiration for cute/nice clothes to put pregnant men in that aren't too "feminine".
And like I am of a camp where I say "clothes are clothes, they don't have gender, baaah" but like ok are we really gonna kid ourselves by denying that sometimes certain clothes translate certain gender feelings more than others? And all the clothes I can ever find are always so feminine... And they're so fucking cute 😩😫 like of COURSE I wanna draw my dudes wearing them cute blouses and skirts and dresses! But then someone's gonna have a bad attitude about it 😞
I have a fem enby who I can dress in that stuff confidently, but I don't draw them enough or get the urge enough to draw them (it's hyperfixation y'all, I don't control the dice here) for masc fashion you really just end up having to go very basic and that's because a lot of masc fashion is typically basic.
idk it's fine, like t-shirts and stuff are comfortable clothes to wear so sure. I just kinda wish I was more of a fashion savvy person to know how to bend the rules of it. I just rely on whatever I can find on Pinterest and stuff.

Fuck yeah! thank you for being open to that idea. Can you do something with the ‘werewolf overeating and then turning back into a human’ prompt? I know you don’t draw furries but werewolves can be more human-like in the face.
Yeah I really do suck hardcore with animals but I liked the idea of a really fucked up messy scary werewolf and it’s just a pretty boy underneath LMAO… I think I just accidentally ended up making a new oc, sorry.
His boyfriend is probably college varsity (let’s pretend I went to college and know the sports terms) and lets him borrow his big ass letterman so he doesn’t destroy any of his clothes.

Thorn sympathy weight
Thorn doesn't gain a ton of weight in general but I could see him getting a little sympathy weight when Janus is pregnant the second time (hes too stressed out the first time lol). It's not a lot but on his gangly frame it's noticable
