As SM Entertainment slowly begins to show us the true concept behind NCT, we came to the realization that it will not be possible for us to keep nct-u as updated as we want it to be. There aren’t that many people on our staff to begin with, and we are all currently very busy and will probably only get busier as time passes. Meanwhile, NCT will continue to grow into a more successful group with more schedules to follow, thus making it harder on us.

After a lot of debate, we are announcing, with a heavy heart, that we will be going on an indefinite / possibly permanent hiatus. This is the last thing we wanted to do, but we physically cannot keep up with SM’s plans and this whole system. We may return if the concept of NCT solidifies to the point where we can comfortably update on all of the original SMRookies members, which is what this blog was originally about when we started it in March 2015, but otherwise we cannot do much else.

We want to thank every one of you for following and supporting us up to this point. We really appreciate all the nice messages we have gotten throughout our time on this blog, even moreso recently, and we’re extremely sorry that we cannot keep the blog up. This blog was special to everyone that worked on it, and it’s truly heartbreaking to us that we are not able to keep it.

We won’t be deleting or locking down nct-u, so you may backtrack our archives as you wish. It would be amazing if we were able to return, but for now thank you for everything and we hope you continue to love and support NCT ♡
