This obviously comes from the blaisian headcannon which I discussed a couple weeks ago and I started doing research on what the African side of his heritage might look like. That's where the tattoo comes from. Plus, it was super interesting to look into how people straighten their hair without the use of heat. I never really straighten my hair so it was really interesting.
