How about instead of Tyrande getting possessed by Elune, we actually got to see them have a conversation about why tf she won't let her kill sylvanas!!! And get some real payoff for all the "hmm something's off about Elune"!! And more!!
Warning this one is long and boring. part 2 is way better lol
sry she should more serious here but w/e we're just going with 'angy' lol
i think i drew these same poses in the sylvanas one lol oop sry my brain library is not vast
ok one thing i added at the last second was elune is like pulling from tyrande's personal elune power to get her real form back to properly tell winter queen to fuck off. and that's why tyrande looks like she has spider webs on her it's just glowy elune magic
and then winter queen does go fuck off bc i didn't want to draw her anymore
End of part 1!! Also when tyrande is watching elune and WQ yell at each other I imagine it like a kid watching their mom get in a fight at the grocery store or smt lol
Moonwraith is my character from World of Warcraft universe. She is an ascetic Samurai-esque Elf who travels the world, fulfilling her divine duties before Moon Goddess, Elune, The Matriarch-deity of All Night Elves.
She was inspired by a wild mix of things, including but not limited to: Samurai & Monks of Eastern Tradition, Metal Gear Rising for insane Sword Skills ™, World of Warcraft abilities relating to teleportation and quick strikes, as well as Classical Myths about demigod-tier heroes traveling the world to accomplish mighty deeds & mingle among more average people. Think Hercules.
Inspired by Airforce Recruitment Posters, Helldivers, and the one picture of Ichiban with lightning mace over his shoulder, this is my Bird Druid from World of Warcraft. She's a Scout / Saboteur, using stormcrow shape to get to places quickly and then wreck havoc with mace, knife, air magic and explosives!
Talon Druids in Warcraft lore were said to be scouts and messengers of the Night Elf Sentinel Force and we never really see this aspect explored in games, I think it's really unfortunate because they have the potential to be really cool.
An attempt to capture the mood & feel of Night Elf Sentinel Forces, as well as giving some love to the giant walking tree who (in Warcraft 3) trains Night Elf archers, huntresses and glaive throwers.
The concept is still metal a f. A soul of a fallen, ancient warrior chooses to remain in service to their people. They are grown a new wooden body so they can continue to train new generations of warriors, as well as stand in defense of their homeland.
Admittedly, it is headcanon. But if I was writing a fantasy universe, that’s how I would do it.
Something different. For the longest time I wanted to do Neon 80s style picture. I found out the style is called ‘outrun’, and I’m completely in love with it.
Newish character: Yla, Suramarian Mage.
Inspired by the idea of 'Arcanepunk'. She builds arcane constructs, enchants items and focuses on utility / infiltration magics.
A part of the Moon Guard in ages past, she still wields formidable magics that aided the Night Elves in conquering most of the known world; While not a violent individual by nature, one would be wise to respect her expertise, lest they find themselves exploring all the different ways a mage can ruin someone's day.
"Ash'al Theradas, Warriors! Drive them back into the Hells that birthed them!"
I always wanted a Night Elf Paladin, but sadly we'll never get them in WoW. She actually existed when I still played Retail WoW, but using the death knight class for plate armor + 2h weapons.
Her name is Tyra and she's a devout follower of the Night Warrior, the more vicious side of Elune. Fighting with blessed weaponry and inspiring her allies, she stands guard over the sacred Homelands; Or travels outward to preach Elune's word, and vanquish those the Goddess deems unfit to walk in Her light.
Her name is Zel, she's one of my favourite RP chars. Despite being a Demon Hunter, she's quite chill / wholesome. She likes books, history, magic and other nerd subjects.
How War of Thorns (BFA pre patch) should have ended
"What? Teldrassil? N'zoth? Shadowlands? War of Thorns? Azerite? Stop blabbering nonsense. Get up and slay any Forsaken that still trespass in our lands!"
I really wish that’s how that story ended to save us all the bs that follows :(
My Night Elf Mage from World of Warcraft re-imagined as Edalyn Clawthorne from The Owl House.
She, too, is a finely aged witchy lady who will never admit she could be your magic mom.
