I've often reassured authors that responding months or years later to a comment you received is nothing to worry about because often the reader who receives the reply will return to the fic and reread it and enjoy it all over again.
I think I need to talk more about how wonderful it is to receive a comment on an old fic and reread my own writing because odds are very good that my fic is exactly the kind of thing I love to read and it's been long enough that I forget the details and get to enjoy it too.
If you've ever commented on one of my old works, I hope I've replied and told you what a treat it was to be reminded of my own story and share your excitement in reading it for the first time. 💗

2nd Dimension Candace is acually very fun to draw :3
For once I drew another At2D character other than Doof😅 I used to actually not like the 2nd Dimension character designs/outfits that much when I watched the movie for the first few times. Especially Candace’s and Doof’s seemed to me like they tried to hard to look “dark and edgy”. Ironically they are the 2nd Dimension characters that I like the most nowadays xD
Doing the colouring and shading for this one was actually so fun, and I really liked how it turned out :D I think the coloured lineart also really helps to make the picture feel more cohesive. The perspective didn’t work out as well, but eh at least an improvement compared to older works I guess. What I really enjoyed was painting the background tho🔥 I like to imagine that she probably just blew up one of Doof’s facilities xD
