If Konrad was canon he would absolutely want to be the one to kill Floch. Like he would hesitate with literally everyone else... but not Floch. Ooh no. They have some kind of a history so he would be totally pleased.

I…I don’t think this time machine thing is just about saving humanity.

It boils down to the whole space crew, but mostly Byakuya. And this page really hammered in that Senku hasn’t been able to find closure.

Senku hasn’t been able to really grieve the loss of Byakuya, and it shows. He’s been working nonstop since he woke up and even though Senku tries to keep his emotions controlled when it comes to sentimentality, we’ve gotten subtle reminders over he course of this series that Senku cares quite a bit when it comes to friends and those he cares about, but especially Byakuya.

Losing Byakuya to time while he was petrified of course bothers him, but it’s more than that because yes, that’s his dad, and yes, losing a parent who was as loving as he was is a level of pain unlike any other, but Senku is surrounded by that love and loss every single day.

Byakuya’s loss is practically stifling and Senku’s been bearing it by focusing on task after plan after creation with the endgame of saving people and space. It’s what sits inside him like a bitter weight while also driving him to keep going, especially in those early days when every day was a reminder of what he lost. Realizing it was his dad’s village and then seeing members who look like Byakuya and Lillian and other crew members, finding the disc and the platinum, it’s all this reminder that Byakuya helped start something so Senku could finish it because he believed in his son.

And now that he’s gone to space and rebuilt, Senku’s done everything and he still feels like he’s missing something and there’s nothing left to do but one last ditch shot and that’s building something to save everyone, but especially Byakuya.

I’m rambling, but this time machine thing is about more than humanity and I really think Senku won’t rest until he can either save his dad or at least see him one more time.

Oh, how much i want to write that fanfiction about Konrad but i'm just too scared of doing something shit-like and ruin the plot of aot if i write my usual "what if my oc is inside the plot of that manga/anime?" kinda ff 😭😭
