“The speed might be faster. After starting the band, it felt like it accelerated quickly. Until then, even when I was a student, it felt like it was slowly moving forward. Like, I can remember moments of those times vividly. I talked before about my childhood in this magazine series but, I really remember those times really well. On the contrary, since the band started there are many things that I can’t remember. I read it in some book but, it said like “Humans can only keep living by forgetting”. I thought “That’s it”. Even if they are good things or bad things, trivial things in daily life too. As we forget, we can renew ourselves. Of course, I think there are a lot of things that you can’t or shouldn’t forget too. Apart from those extremes things, I feel there are a lot of things that should be forgotten.”
We interviewed Kaoru from DIR EN GREY this weekend. Of course we talked about the content of the upcoming new album ‘The Insulated World’, but… doing the interview is such circumstances can be seen as rare or as a precious content… this kind of interview will be included in the October issue (on sale September 5th)!
