i think that mcr will release their next album in 2022 because:

mcr seems to have a very consistent schedule of releasing albums in even years... even their two live albums were released in even years... and their post-breakup albums (living with ghosts, may death never stop you) were released in even years! the only exception is conventional weapons. so that is my theory, only time will tell if this is right.
