Tumblr media
the sky was falling.
you were sure of it and afraid. the dark, star-less sky was falling, growing closer and closer to the ground, and soon, the sky would meet the earth.
you pressed your palms against the cold window and looked up, frozen and afraid, what can anyone do in a situation like this?
perhaps you could stop this from happening if only you had your power, but alas, that was in the past, you've changed and no longer wield the power that made you special.
"no..." a stray tear left your eye as you moved away from the window and towards the door to your room, you knocked, gently at first but as time passed it became more frantic and rough.
you began to feel faint, and your knocking became harder and you began to cry, "please, open this door! please someone- anyone! open the door!"
no answer.
you cried harder, the side of your hand becoming sore from banging on the door, you knocked and cried for quite some time but never gained an answer which led you to back away from the door and sit beside the window again.
you felt terrible. you rested your cheek against the window and cried, watching as the sky fell.
...
"what have you done, dottore?" PIERRO questioned dottore as DOTTORE passed out gas masks to all of the present harbingers, "there was a small incident." dottore replied.
COLUMBINA giggled as dottore tried to water down the situation before them.
"small? soldiers are fainting from that gas- some are in critical condition, what do you mean small?" SANDRONE snapped at dottore, as she slid the mask onto her face.
"this is a first. nothing like this has happened to me before-"
"mistakes from you will not be tolerated. some soldiers are barely breathing and delirious due to your mistake, nothing like this will happen again, understood?" pierro narrowed his eyes as he watched dottore humbled himself and nodded, before saying "of course, lord harbinger."
columbina messed with the straps on her gas mask as she asked, "do you think the gasses have reached out mag-"
"has something happened, where are all of the soldiers?" asked PANTALONE as he entered the castle, pierro quickly pulled pantalone in and shut the door behind pantalone, "we cannot let the gasses reach the town if that happens, we will never hear the end of it."
columbina tuts, after being cut off but didn't attempt to speak again.
"gasses-?" before pantalone could ask, dottore handed him a gas mask and with no questioning, he slid it over his face, "what gas? what has happened?" pantalone asked, and before dottore could explain, sandrone said, "dottore made a mistake, broke a jar full of toxic gasses, its harming harbingers and yet he doesn't seem to... care that much."
pantalone nodded slowly, his eyes roaming across the room slowly, but his majesty was nowhere to be seen, "where is our majesty?"
everyone paused, silence overtaking them before dottore said, with a scoff, "don't worry, our majesty is in the safest room of the castle, the gasses wouldn't be able to reach our majesty so soon."
"we don't want the gasses to reach our majesty at all!" sandrone was on the verge of ripping her hair out from the frustration she felt.
"we should check on our majesty..." columbina butted in, as she tugged at the straps of the gas mask, harder.
"do you know the side effect of the gasses, dottore?" pantalone asked, and dottore shook his head, "I know nothing about the gas, I was merely messing around when the jars broke."
"so... you were just playing with toxic gasses-"
"yes."
sandrone released a sigh, as she turned away from dottore, her frustration apparent as she clenched her fist. columbina grinned at the chaos, "how long have the gasses been flowing around?" she asked.
"for more than two hours now," dottore replied before sighing, hard... he believed everyone was completely overreacting.
"we must check on our majesty... just in the case that anything has happened, " pantalone said before he turned on his heel and began to walk up the staircase which led to your room.
the front door opened once again, "hey-!"
pierro pulled CHILDE into the castle and shut the door behind him, before handing him a gas mask, "what's this for?" childe asked as he slid it onto his face.
"dottore... released toxic gasses into the air," sandrone briefly explain and childe laughed, "really? I would have never expected that from him."
"me neither," columbina grinned and childe quickly looked over to the corner where columbina was resting and cringed slightly as he nodded.
...
"your majesty...? if you don't mind, we're coming in," pantalone warned but gained no response. pantalone opened the door and looked in, you weren't by the door or on your bed.
you were by the window, on the ground. pantalone fully entered the room and dottore followed after him. "you said our majesty was safe-"
"perhaps our majesty is resting," dottore said, trying not to worry pantalone as he turned you onto your back.
the gas had definitely reached you.
he could tell, from the way you were twitching and choking on your drool, the way your eyes rolled back into your head, and the way you were barely breathing.
dottore turned to pantalone, and tried his best to remain calm as he asked, "go back down and get a gas mask for our majesty, do not take your time."
pantalone was quick to leave the room and go down the stairs, to see that CAPITANO and ARLECCHINO had arrived, "I need a gas mask for our majesty."
pierro handed a gas mask to pantalone, then he went back up, just as he was walking up the stairs, capitano asked, "is our majesty not doing well?"
"I'm sure our majesty will be fine," pantalone replied but his voice was laced with uncertainty, which caused capitano to follow after pantalone.
pantalone reentered the room and capitano followed after him, "here," he handed the mask to dottore and dottore put the mask onto you.
dottore connected his and your mask (let us all pretend that something like that exists), so that his oxygen would become your own so that you could regain consciousness soon.
you choked before a small cry left your lips, pantalone kneeled to your side and ran his fingers across your arm, "are you feeling well, your majesty?"
"...sky... the sky, " you choke out as you attempted to sit up but dottore stopped you, mumbling for you to relax because you didn't feel well.
"what about the sky, your majesty-"
"pantalone, our majesty is already confused and you are making our majesty even more confused." dottore grumbled before lifting you into his and handing you over to capitano, after unconnecting your masks.
capitano took you down the stairs, "the sky... sky," you continue to repeat and in response, capitano hushed you, saying, "your majesty, calm down... you're confusing yourself."
"lay our majesty onto that table," dottore said to capitano, knowing he couldn't take you into his laboratory, so he settled for the dining room table, "and get a blanket for our majesty," dottore said to childe who idly sat on the table.
capitano placed you once the table and you tried to sit up once again, "the sky... it-" capitano gently placed a hand onto your shoulder and with a gentle push you lay motionless on the table.
"the sky..." you mumbled idly, weakly reaching out to sandrone, who looked over to you anxiously, she quickly made her way to your side and took your hand into hers, "what's wrong, your majesty?"
but you didn't reply but continued to mindlessly mumble on about the sky. what was happening? why do you feel so bad? why are all the harbingers leaning over you with worried expressions?
"our majesty will be alright, with time, surly the side effects will fade off, our majesty's immune system is far stronger than the average human's immune system" dottore tried to calm the others, though his words didn't seem to calm them at all.
"i can't believe this!" sandrone grumbled, her fists tight as she narrowed her eyes at dottore, "this wouldn't have happened if you were a little more... more careful!"
seeing you so weak... disheartened sandrone.
"hey, you heard dottore, our majesty will be fine. just give our majesty some time to come around," childe stood at the edge of the table, a small smile on his face, as his hand rested upon your ankle, as he tried to comfort sandrone though his words didn't seem to reach her.
"what...? what's happening, where-" you pushed yourself up slowly, eyes squinted, vision blurred and hands shaking.
"your majesty-!"
"sandrone, quiet." pierro held a hand up, to silence her or anyone else who would attempt to speak.
you were silent, staring off past the harbingers and at the wall. your lips parted and breath uneven. "pierro- tell me what's happening," you commanded as you ran your fingers across the gas mask on your face, "wh-what is this?"
"dottore released toxic gasses into the air as a result of him carelessly messing around with the gasses in his laboratory." pierro replied, his tone sharp as he glanced back at dottore.
"forgive me, your majesty." dottore apologized, his eyes closely watching you as you looked around at all the harbingers.
columbina sat down beside you, her cold fingertips running across your skin, as she felt for your pulse and smiled.
"now, your majesty, you were saying something about the sky... do you remember what you were talking about?" pantalone asked.
"yes..." you started, as you tried to get off of the dining table but capitano grabbed your arm and pulled you back to where you were once sitting, "the sky... was falling. i saw it," you told the harbingers.
"falling? is that even possible?" arlecchino asked, and dottore shook his head, "completely impossible. perhaps the gasses reached her sooner than i initially thought it had," dottore mumbled to himself but sandrone, being so shaken up by what had happened, said, "this is terrible! You're just terrible. you've caused our majesty unnecessary suffering... thanks to your carelessness."
"have I not apologized countless times?" dottore asked, his eyes narrowed at sandrone, "if you hadn't been so carele-"
"stop it- the both of you. do you not realize you're making this about yourselves other than our majesty? both of you, come with me" pierro grabbed dottore and sandrone by their arms and with a less than polite grin, excused the three of them.
columbina grinned as dottore and sandrone got pulled away.
the remaining harbingers sat in silence.
childe sat at the edge of the table, his hand rubbing your ankle. to childe, it was an honor to touch your skin... your perfect skin... heck, it was an honor to even be able to serve you.
arlecchino was admittedly quite angry though she made no comments. how could dottore be so careless... our majesty could have died because of him... how dare he. she stood at your side, her hands pocketed in an attempt to look composed but by the way she was biting her lip, it was obvious that she wasn't at all happy with what happened.
capitano was at the side of arlecchino, he silently stared down at you, he was just grateful that you were okay. things could be worse. but they aren't and he's grateful for that. he wanted to hold you again but he knew if he did, he'd end up never letting you go.
columbina was sitting at your side, her cold fingertips grazing your skin, as she hummed to you. she was happy, to say the least, she didn't want to be away from you for so long ever again. she smiled softly as she held your hand.
pierro came back minutes later, "your majesty is going to recover just fine. some of the soldiers are already making recoveries themself."
the tension amongst the harbingers seemed to fade and everything seemed okay again.

high-school sweethearts|yandere! ajax x reader
summary: ajax, an exchange student, was your friend in high-school, who dreamed of taking you back home to snezhnaya with him <3
content warning: mentions of murder, abduction????
Tumblr media
your body met the ground with an unexpected thud.
"I fell again," you mumbled, your palms scraped from you trying to not hit the ground, just as you were trying to stand up, a pair of hands helped you up.
"heh, I saw you fall," ajax snickered, before backing away slightly, as you began to examine your body for any more injuries.
"I can't do this anymore," you said, your voice shaky as you look down to your bloody knee, "don't give up so soon, (y/n), you've barely even begun."
ajax kneeled in front of you, his hand taking hold of your ankle as he leaned towards your wound, at first you were unsure if what he was doing and then, he licked it.
his tongue ran across the wound slowly and you winced, placing a hand at the top of his head, prepared to push him away, "stop that... it's weird," you grumbled as you pushed him away.
"(y/n), dont you know that spit heals wounds faster?" ajax gave you a faint smile as he stood up, his tongue running across his bottom lip.
"I know... just don't do it again," you looked at your palm as ajax went to grab the skateboard you fell off of, "alright! how bout' we go get something to eat?"
you paused to think about it, glancing up to see the sky was darkening and you were supposed to be home before it was dark, "I don't know..."
"aw, come on, (y/n), I'll make it quick... it's just that I'm starving, I don't th-"
"okay... we have to be quick about it though... my parents will be upset if I'm not home soon," you shuffled towards ajax, the wound in your knee throbbed in pain.
"come on! we don't have all night~" ajax took your hand into his and began leading you to the nearest convenience store, his thumb massaging your hand all the way until you entered the building.
even after the two of you entered, ajax wouldn't let go, his hold on you tightened, you grumbled as you tugged your hand back, just for him to hold your hand tighter.
"hmm... how bout' you get first picks?" ajax smiled, releasing your hand and watching you roam up and down the aisles, he needed to know what you liked eating, so he could get as much of it as possible before bringing you to snezhnaya wi-
"I'm tired... and not really hungry," you leaned on the wall, you knee slightly bent as you waited for ajax to pick his food.
"(y/n)," he whined as he approached you, "you've gotta eat... even if you are tired, I can't have you collapsing on me at school."
you shifted to the side, towards a bag of chips and reached out to take them, "you have to buy them for me," your lips twitched into a slight smile as ajax nodded in agreement.
you grabbed the bag of chips and ajax took note of the name of the chips. he followed after you, watching as you pulled the hood of your jacket over your head.
ajax took a short stride towards you and grabbed your arm, "I'll buy anything you want... don't steal anything," he hissed before releasing your arm, watching as you lowered your head.
ajax then picked his food and the two of you reached the register and payed for the chips and left. the two of you walked down the sidewalk, towards your house where he'd drop you off.
ajax wrapped an arm around you and you stilled, narrowing your eyes at him as you pushed away from him.
you never really liked public affection- you never really liked affection at all. it made ajax wonder about you, why don't you like affection?
it was completely dark out by the time you made it home, you thanked ajax before going in and calling it a day.
...
"stop coming here so early," you grumbled, your eyes barely open as you walked out the front door. "we gotta get to school early-" ajax began but you cut him off, asking, "why?"
"so we can catch up before class, of course," ajax said in a matter-of-fact tone and you said nothing in reply as the two of you began walking to school.
you weren't aware but... ajax had been staring at you throughout the whole walk, with hearts in his eyes.
once the two of you got to school, you went to class and sat down together in the back... but somthing was off.
"can I copy your homework?" you asked and ajax nodded as he pulled his homework from his bag and set it in front of you. you took it and copied it, being sure to add small mistakes to make it seem like your own work.
somthing was wrong...
you put your pencil down and looked over at ajax, who was staring blankly at you, "do you have... candy or somthing, I'm hungry," you asked and ajax nodded, slowly, almost suspiciously,
"what? you didn't eat breakfast or somthing?" he asked as he pulled a bag of chips- your favorite chips, out of his bag and passed them off to you. he made sure to bring you somthing to munch on during the day, so you had a reason to come to him.
you mumbled a weak, "thank you," before you began eating the chips. the classroom was almost empty. you and ajax came to school earlier than most students, so, of course, it was almost empty,
even then, something felt wrong...
you paused and looked up at ajax, pulling your hand out of the chip bag, a confused look on your face, and ajax smiled, as he wrapped his hand around your wrist and licked the chip dust off of your hand.
"hey, stop that!" you shivered in disgust as he pulled away, wiping your hands off, onto his pants before asking, "do we have an exam this week?"
childe nodded. his face flushed, as he stared down at his thigh- his thigh that you touched. he felt his body become warm, as his blood flow increased.
you felt yourself calm down, that's it? you had gotten all paranoid about a forgotten exam?
"did you take notes or something" you asked as you dragged another chip from the bag, and he nodded as he beg to take out his notes for you.
he sat his notes in front of you and watched intently as you flipped through the pages of his notebook, he couldn't wait to take you home with hi-
"stop lookin' at me like that... it's weird," you said, your eyes narrowed at ajax as his eyes widened, and he looked away, "heh, i must still be tired... didn't even notice I was staring at you," ajax laughed, nervously, hoping he wasn't making any odd face at you.
students began to come into class and ajax sighed, glancing over to you, to see you looking at him, "you said a while ago... you're going back to snezhnaya next month?"
"oh, yeah," and you'll be coming with me, "ill miss you, that's for sure," ajax made a kissy face at you, and you frowned at him.
"stop being so weird..." you said, before passing him his notebook, "... I'll miss you, too."
he felt his heart throb inside his chest, his blood flow increased and his face turn red. how could he possibly respond to that? you'll miss him? that clearly means you care about him... "I'll be back." he excused himself to the bathroom, to calm himself down.
...
no, somthing is wrong. somthing is truly wrong. somthing is very wrong.
somthing is wrong.
Jackson, one of your classmates, was found dead in the boys' bathroom.
and ajax was the murder.
you were sure of it and your heart felt tight. you had been avoiding him since Jackson's body was found.
you remember, during lunchtime, you were going to the bathroom and saw ajax walking out of the boys' bathroom... Jackson's body was found only five mintues after ajax left the bathroom.
... it couldn't possibly be a coincidence.
not to mention all those filthy comments ajax made about Jackson when finding out he'd been picking on you, "ill kill you, do you want me to?" "he won't dare get away with making fun of you."
it had to be ajax.
who else could it have been?
this was wrong...
you bit your lip, hard, as ajax approached you and stood beside you, standing extra close to you, all the students were told to stay in the auditorium until everything had been dealt with.
"what'd you have for lunch?" he asked. how could he? a student had just been murdered and he was asking about lunch.
"nothing."
"huh? why not?" he asked, as he began to unzip his beg, preparing to give you some chips to fill your stomach.
because I felt sick when realizing that you killed Jackson. "y'know... because someone just died, I don't fee-"
"ah, don't give me that, here," he handed you a bag of chips, "eat these."
you held the chips in your hand... what to do... who to tell... what to do...
your heart was beating fast and you felt sick to your stomach. you handed the chips back to ajax, "hm? you don't want em'? why not?" ajax questioned as he put them back into his bag.
... ah.
you know. you must know about what he did. well, there's no hiding it now. ajax grabbed your hand and pulled you through the crowd of students, ignoring your fussing.
the two of you made it to an empty hallway, but it didn't stop there, he took you past the hallways and led you out of the school, "whew, I think all the sadness in that auditorium was rubbin' off on you," he joked with a small chuckle.
you were stiff, as you stared at him.
"anyway, we're leaving," ajax pointed at the car in the parking lot, "that's our ride."
you shook your head, "no... I'm not going," you were scared of him, your best friend. "huh? what do you mean... you're not going?" ajax frowned, as he glanced back to the car that was coming close to him.
you were silent, as you took, small, unnoticed steps away from him. "hey, where do you think you're going?" ajax grabbed you after you had stepped noticeably far away from him, "come on," he said as he opened the car door and got in, and gently tugged you in.
you tried to pull away from him, but with one forceful tug, you were in the car and the door had closed.
the car had begun moving.
"no! I said I don't want to leave," you grabbed ajax's face and squeezed it, "I said I didn't want to leave."
ajax smiled, hard, as you squeezed his face, "I couldn't help myself any longer," he admitted, "I've thought about... taking you home with me for a long, long time now, (y/n)."
you stiffened and your eyes widened, "what?! I'm not going anywhere with you! whats wrong with you?!," you then tried to open the car door but instead you were hit with somthing which caused you to go limp.
...
you woke up to a cold breeze brushing past your cheek and a cold hand holding yours, "hey... hope you're not mad at me... sorry about hitting you so hard," you heard ajax speaking to you, his hand squeezing yours, he sighed, "really, I didn't mean to hit you so hard... i didn't even mean to hit you at all... it's, like, my hand just raised and hit you on its own."
your eyes opened to see that you were on a... ship!?
you tried to sit up and pull away but ajax was sitting beside you with his legs in your lap, "calm down.. I won't hurt you... i- I guess I was a little abrupt with things, huh? sorry about that... but I'm too far in to back out now," ajax said, as he let go of your hand and grazed your cheek, slowly.
"w-what? where are we goi- oh..." you realized what was happening and where you were going. you were going to snezhnaya with your murder of a best friend.
ajax moved his legs from over your lap and pressed his cheek against yours, "we're going home, together. my family's gonna love you, (y/n)."

to love, to let go | yandere! capitano x reader
summary: when ordered by the trista to rid himself of you, a distraction, capitano couldn't bring himself to harm you
content warning: implied murder and very obsessive behavior. yandere dottore is IMPLIED
Tumblr media
a cold blade pressed against your neck.
you tensed, fear overcoming your body. you didn't even look back, you were too afraid too. you slowly dropped the flower you were picking and placed the hand flat onto the ground.
"this is an order by the trista, I cannot ignore it," it was capitano, your lover who pointed his blade at you, "I've been distracted, i have not been myself, is what the trista has said. i must rid myself of the distraction and get back to working effectively. "
you bit back a cry and slowly turned to face capitano, to see him fully clothes in his armor and helmet... which he seldom wore around you.
there were soldiers far behind capitano, waiting for him to obey the trista's requests.
his grip on the handle of his blade tightened, and you bit down on your bottom lip, "please- don't do it."
"i must." He replied as he reached to hold the blade with two hands and slowly lifted it, preparing to strike you down.
then, the first tear ran down your cheek, and after that, you couldn't control your tears.
capitano hesitated, his arm stiffening as he listened to your desperate weeps and pleas to live. it never bothered him to hear one beg for their life before, but this hurt him.
"I love you- please! please don't kill me," you reached out to him, arms wrapped around his leg, and you cried, "please don't do this!"
he couldn't bring himself to lower his arm. he couldn't bring himself to harm you, but he couldn't bring himself to let you go either...
sure that you were unable to stop him, you bit your tongue and waited, but nothing happened.
you slowly lifted your gaze to capitano to see he had lowered his blade and simply stared down at you. you wiped off your cheek slowly and watched as he kneeled to you.
with his finger under your chin, he tipped your chin upwards toward him and asked, "are you afraid?" and you nodded slowly and almost hesitantly.
he never wanted you to be afraid of him, ever.
he then stood up and turned to the soldiers, "report to the trista, i can not let (y/n) go, and i will not."
the soldiers looked at one another before nodding, one replied and said, "the trista foresaw this, assuming you wouldn't let (y/n) go. her majesty has permitted us to take (y/n) from you."
capitano stiffened, his arms tense and mind blank... take (y/n) away? take you away from him?
capitano quickly pulled you up from the ground and said, lowly, in a haste tone, "pass through the manor quietly, and prepare my horse for us to leave," capitano handed his blade to you and gave you a gentle push towards the door, "protect yourself if needed."
and then you ran, past the soldiers and into the manor, afraid, and confused but you continued to run, towards the front door.
then you quickly ran out, towards capitano's house, you put the saddle onto the horse, fed it, preparing it for however long the two of you would ride.
"you're not supposed to be out here! come here th-"
frightened, you pointed your blade at the fatui soldiers that quickly approached you, "go away! I don't want-"
the soldier was quickly pushed out of the way by capitano, which approached you hastily. he took the blade from you and got onto the horse, before helping you on.
then he began to lead the horse away from the manor. he slid a hand underneath your thigh, holding onto you to assure himself you wouldn't fall off.
as you began to wrap your arms around him you paused, looking at capitano clearly for the first time, and saw blood, covering his armor.
you hesitated to wrap your arms around him but did anyways and rested your cheek on his shoulder.
capitano felt some sort of relief enters his body, knowing you could still relax against him, knowing you weren't afraid to hold onto him.
he sighed, grip on your thigh tightening.
the ride was long and silent. the longer it went on, the darker it got, so capitano decided he'd stop for the night, knowing no one would be able to find him at the moment.
he stopped his horse and got off, before helping you off, then led you to a small cabin.
the two of you went in, you stood stiffly at the door, watching as capitano lit a fire at the fireplace and the room lit up.
"(y/n), come here, " he patted the couch in front of the fireplace, "lie down," so slowly, you walked over and sat down on the couch.
"are you upset with me?" capitano sat down beside you, arm touching arm before he raised his hand and rubbed the dried blood from your cheek after that you nodded, "you scared me earlier."
"can you forgive me?" he asked as he removed his coat, and placed it onto you, and you nodded. "i promised to you that i would never harm you... and i will never harm you or allow you to be harmed in any way."
"which is why, i must send you away."
...
now you rested silently, a peaceful look on your face.
capitano on the floor, beside the couch, silently watching you while ignoring anxieties that rested in the back of his mind.
this may be the last time he will ever see you.
which is why he's indulging himself in you at the moment. he didn't know when he'd see you again or if he ever would, he needed to make the best of this moment.
you shifted in your sleep, turning to lie on your back. capitano rested his hand on yours, he held onto it gently, being sure not to wake you up.
what should he do?
he laid his head back on the couch, staring at the ceiling. he has to let you go. if he doesn't, you'll get be taken away from him, and then surely he'd never see you again.
but he couldn't bare to imagine being without you.
when morning came you remained asleep and capitano hadn't moved an inch.
his eyes remained on the ceiling. he'd like to say he was practicing self-discipline but in reality, he just didn't know what to do.
you'd be gone and he'd be punished.
you wouldn't be there to soothe his aches. you wouldn't be there.
but when he heard a knock on the cabin door, he knew it was time to let you go. he knew he had to let you go but he didn't want to.
capitano moved for the first time that morning and got up, he hesitated but woke you up.
he helped you up and though you were very drowsy you followed after him as he led you to the door. after he opened the door and there stood dottore, who offered to help get you out of snezhnaya.
it seemed too good to be true (and it was) but capitano was desperate, he needed you to be sade.
dottore greeted you briefly and capitano watched as dottore took your hand and led you out of the cabin.
he felt weak for not being able to protect you, and he felt like a liar because he promised to protect you. he wanted to know what you were thinking at the moment, he wanted to go after you, hug you, or make you stay with him but all he could do was watch as you left.
but he couldn't bear to go on knowing you weren't with him.

CAPITANO
he was surprised.
but he was disappointed with the house staff and fired them all.
there was a lingering thought at the back of his mind, "what did I do wrong?"
whatever it was he wanted to make it right.
he unacknowledged his safety just to find you and make sure you're safe.
once the initial surprise of you escaping faded, capitano was determined to find you.
saying that capitano was determined was an understatement - he was going to find you.
though it was dark out, he went looking for you, his mind full of worry.
you could freeze to death, get hurt, get mauled to death by wolves, or worse.
he set out, looking for you alone with only his horse, light, and a dull blade.
he couldn't allow himself to be overwhelmed with emotions at a time like this. he needed to find you. he needed to know that you were safe before his emotions got the best of him.
and then he saw you.
dress muddy, hair tangled, and limping.
you didn't seem to hear him coming, so he stopped his horse and trailed behind you.
until he got close enough to grab you.
...
"no!" was all you managed to scream as a string pair of arms wrapped around you and lifted you from the ground.
"what made you come out here, (y/n)? what caused you to leave me?" you were tense as capitano carried you back to his horse.
"I want to go home! please- let me go!" you cried, legs kicking around ceaselessly.
"i cannot let you go home. i'd miss you far too much," capitano's voice lowered as he adjusted you onto the horse before also getting on.
his arm remained tight around you, as he said, "ive tried my absolute hardest to satisfy you. tell me, (y/n), what have i done wrong?"
Tumblr media
PANTALONE
honestly, he wasn't too worried.
but he sure did miss you.
he put GPS in your jewlrey ahead of time, in case this happened.
he would ask soldiers to go out and find you.
and be a little more strict on you after you were home.
coming into your bedroom to see you gone was... upsetting to him.
he provided for you, gave you a house to live in, and loved you, and you left?
you are unappreciative, and that upset him.
not only did you leave the room a mess, but you also left with all the jewelry he had bought for you.
silly you.
you can't have your cake and eat it too.
so he sent out three fatui soldiers to retrieve you, seeing that you were just down the road all thanks to the GPS in one of the necklaces he gave you.
he waited patiently, knowing you'd be back within his reach soon enough.
...
"don't you ever," pantalone pulled you into your room, hugging you, squeezing you in his arms, hard, "try to leave me again. do you know how worried i was for you?"
you refused to reply, your eyes narrowed and face in a permanent pout.
"no, don't look at me like that, this," he pointed at your arm, which was brushed and red, "didn't have to happen if you hadn't tried to fight the soldiers when they came for you."
all you could do was as pantalone pulled you into bed with him, hugging you harder and tighter as he whispered to you about how much he loved you and missed you.
Tumblr media
PIERRO
he was disappointed.
very, very disappointed.
he couldn't understand why you kept trying to leave him.
your persistence to leave was annoying him.
though he says he's given you too many chances and he won't give you anymore, he continues to give you more chances.
it had been less than five minutes since you escaped, and pierro had already sent soldiers looking for you.
shamefully, the guards weren't able to stop you from escaping, pierro sighed. It was disappointing. he'd have to get new, more useful guards to watch after you.
and then finally, the doors to his office opened, and you walked in, a soldier following closely behind you.
"(y/n), sit down and you can leave," pierro watched as you sat down and as the soldier left.
"what were you thinking? did you truly believe you'd get away from me?" pierro questioned, watching as you uncomfortably avoided his gaze.
"I'm sorry, lord harbinger. please forgive me."
"no. i cannot forgive so easily this time. how many times have you tried to leave me (y/n)?"
"six times."
"when will you give up, (y/n), why are you so hellbent on leaving me? tell me why."
"I'm sorry. I won't do it again, I promise. I really won't."
pierro smiled, as he stood up and walked overto you before wrapping his arms around you, "i believe (y/n) and let you with a gentle warning one last time."

Ooohh please do yan pierro, yan pantalone, and yan dottore. How are they when they are jealous??? Just some jelly yans is just... :>
jealous boy | various yandere! fatui harbingers x reader
Tumblr media
pierro
you were at the marketplace, pierro had been told.
meeting up with a man, speaking to him with a bright smile, hugging him tightly, and giving his hand a gentle squeeze before leaving.
pierro tried not to rush to conclusions. perhaps you were meeting with a relative or an old friend, it didn't have to be romantic.
but he couldn't shake off the feeling that it WAS romantic.
but he knew it would seem weird to approach you, asking about your whereabouts and relationship with others.
so he did nothing.
for a long time. he would listen, every day, when it was reported to him that you met up with the same guy once again, speaking with one another or buying stuff.
it was becoming hard to ignore, but he continued to do so - until he couldn't. what pushed him over the edge was the fact that you'd been seeing this guy every day for two weeks.
that's was bothered him.
so he sent for you, and when you arrived, he told you to sit down before asking, "how have you been? I apologize for not being very active with you, I've been busy."
you smiled, knowingly, saying, "i know. its ok, im just happy when i get to see you," you leaned over the table, reaching out to hug pierro but before you could, he stood up, placing a hand in your shoulder, stopping you.
"huh?"
"you must have felt alone, no?" He let go of your shoulder but remained standing.
"i did... but i said-"
"and you wanted someone to rid you of your loneliness?" his head tilted and brow raised. his tone was slow and questioning, but there was a malicious undertone to the words he spoke but you didn't seem to notice it.
"um... yeah, but i-"
"which happened to be the young man you've met with numerous times at the marketplace?"
you stared at pierro silently, lips pursed and pierro tuts, his palms pressing against the table as you said, "... it was supposed to be-"
"a secret, i presume? it's difficult to keep secrets when associated with me. did you not think about that?"
"a surprise. not a secret. you're always working, I wanted to surprise you with a nice dinner but i just... needed the resources to do it. my friend is a chef."
pierro paused before a small smile broke onto his lips, "how childish of me to assume it was anything else," he took your face into his hands, "of course, my (y/n), wouldn't be unfaithful to me."
Tumblr media
pantalone
pantalone was gone for the weekend so you went out with friends.
you had fun with them, then went home - and also paid for everything, thanks to pantalone lending you a good sum of more before leaving.
when he came back, everything was fine and normal until he saw your bag of mora was empty, with not even one mora left.
you went out, even after assuring him tbat you'd stay put and wait for him to come back, he felt... hurt.
"(y/n), how have you been," he approached you from behind, while you saw in the dining room, eating, "good, very good," you replied.
"... did you go out?"
"yes."
"with who?"
"a friend, and a friend of a friend."
"even after telling me you'd comfortably wait for me to come back?"
"... sorry," you looked up at pantalone, an apologetic smile on your face, "I'm really sorry."
"ah... do i know these friends of yours?"
you nod, slowly, "well... you know one of them."
"and you spent all of the mora I gave you... when going out, I assume?" pantalone questioned and you nodded.
pantalone had no trouble accepting that he was trying to find a reason to justify why he felt so upset about this. "don't do it again, (y/n), the least you can do is be a trustworthy company, right?"
"You're right, sorry. i won't do it again."
"i trust that you won't. " if you did, pantalone would set up guards around the manor while he was gone, so you wouldn't be able to leave.
Tumblr media
dottore
you've been gone for a week and managed to go undetected by dottore.
it was frustrating, not knowing where you are.
tantalizing.
he was frustrated to the point where he had to postpone any experiment he was running because the stresses he felt were unbecoming.
until you finally came back, the next week.
he grabbed you and pulled you into the house, demanding to know where you were to which you replied, "I wanted more experience before I officially became your assistant."
you tried to explain once again but dottore seemed to be hooked up on the fact that you left to work with someone else for a week.
"I asked, and I'll ask once again, what did you do while you were there?" dottore repeated his question, slowly, as if you couldn't understand him.
"I worked. he taught me how to do basic stuff... take notes, follow orders, stuff like that," you pursed your lips watching as dottore nodded, slowly, though he still seemed to be questioning you.
"is following orders hard for you to do, (y/n)?" dottore questioned, watching as yous shrugged, "if you can not follow simple orders, perhaps this job isn't for you?" his voice lowered into a questioning tone.
"no! I won't do it again."
"how can I be sure?" dottore questioned, "are you sure this job is fitted for you?" if not, he'd have to find another way to keep you around, which could end up being difficult, knowing your stubborn nature.
"I'm sure. i won't do things like that again... at least not without asking first." you said, "I just wanted to be a good assistant, though."
"you had nothing to worry about, (y/n), once you were officially mine..." dottore paused briefly, clearing her throat before saying, "... my assistant, i would have taught you call that you'd need to know."
"okay. ill do better in the future."
"i would hope so. do not leave this manor again, without permission from me, or without the assistance of a soldier." dottore watched you nod, almost smiling as you agreed, knowing there would be no easy way for you to leave him now.

hiii! can u write yan capitano, or yan pierro, or yan pantalone with a darling that is very private and mysterious? in a sense that there is no information about darling or anything abour darling. thank you! ❤
untold past | yandere! pantalone x reader
content warning: brief mention of animal death and stalking??? idk what to call it but pantalone does background checks on reader!!
Tumblr media
your routine is simple and remains the same.
you do nothing out of the ordinary and you're always content no matter what. you keep to yourself and don't go out much.
you have a pet cat and you moved to snezhnaya six months ago but where you're from originally is unknown. you live with a roommate, an older woman, and work with the adventure guild.
that's everything pantalone knows about you. that's all he can know about you. he has done multiple background checks on you but surface-level information seems to be the only thing he can get from it.
and it's starting to become a problem.
it started five months ago, a month after you came to snezhnaya. there you were, at a park, feeding cats, whilst gently cooing at them, what you were doing was sweet but he paid no true interest and went on his way.
a week later, he walked past the park once again and there you were, feeding the cats once again this time he called out to you, "excuse me?" you paused and turned to face him, your face flushed from the cold weather.
"yes?"
"could those cats be yours? if so, why haven't i seen you around before?"
"I like to pretend they are." you laughed, ignoring his last question and your laughter was sweet so he smiled.
"hm, take good care of those cats. some kids have been coming around and bothering them." then he walked away, not waiting for a reply.
the next week, he passed by once again, this time, he had you in mind when he passes, wondering if you'd be there and you were, with one less cat.
"hi," you waved at him and he paused in his steps, a small smile growing on his lips, as he motioned to the group of cats in front of you, "hello... there's a missing cat, did something happen?"
"I think he ran away... I'm not sure," you smiled, but it seemed doubtful and perhaps hesitant.
"what a shame."
"yeah, I'll probably go looking for him tomorrow," you pursed your lips as you ran your hand across the back of one of the cats.
tomorrow, huh?
"well, I wish you the best of luck... i never got your name."
"it's (y/n)."
"well, I wish you the best of luck, (y/n)."
(y/n)... pantalone smiled as he walked away.
later that night, when pantalone was alone with his thoughts, he thought about you.
you like cats, that's nice.
you seem kind.
you wear thick coats, the expensive kind.
along with the expensive kind of hats.
you must always be so warm.
a pen slowly rolled from his desk and dropped to the floor, causing pantalone to stop thinking of you and continue his work.
... should I help (y/n) tomorrow?
...
the next morning was cold and seemed still.
most people were still sleeping at this time, but not you, because you need to find a cat.
you shivered from underneath your coat as you walked through the park. this was out of the norm for you, you usually wouldn't wake up so early or come to the park two times in the same week.
this ruined your routine, but hopefully, it would all be worth it at the end. "where are you, louie?" louie was the cat's name you decided to give him.
near the front of the park, pantalone stood, hands pocketed and eyes weary. he stayed up last night, he thought about you and if he could come to help you.
this foreign feeling inside of his chest was starting to bother him, more and more. he decided to drop by the park and was going to make it seem like a coincidence, speak with you then leave.
and perhaps never speak to you again.
"where are you, louie?" you called out again, peaking behind trash bins, into hollowed trees and bushes.
"louie?"
you paused and turned to see the man who would occasionally walk past the park while you were here, "louie is the cat's name. if you saw him, you'd understand his name," you smiled.
"well, how does this louie look?" pantalone asked and you rubbed your chin before saying, "he's orange and kinda chunky and has a few dark brown spots on his back."
"oh, he sounds adorable, " but not as adorable as you, "ill keep a watchful eye out for him," pantalone smiled when he noticed your eyes light up, "thank you. he's a good cat, i wouldn't want him to get into trouble. "
...
trouble, huh?
pantalone passes the park every day, wondering when you'd be there, wondering if you'd go there for any reason other than to feed the cats which you only do on saturdays.
it was getting dark out as he passed by, but in the corner of his eye, he saw a cat. he paused, before glancing over to it and if he was correct, it was louie.
but louie didn't seem to have any life left in him. "... what a shame," he really wanted to bring louie back to you, alive. he wanted a reason to approach you, in a positive way, he didn't want to tell you louie was dead.
pantalone sighed, before continuing his walk home.
...
"did you ever see louie?" you asked, a wool scarf muffling your words as you spoke. pantalone hesitantly nodded.
it didn't take much to figure out louie was dead, considering he was nowhere to be seen. "he's dead?" you asked for confirmation and pantalone nodded once again.
"did he die naturally?"
"no. what happened to him was far from natural."
you pursed your lips, your gaze lowering, "that's a shame. he was a good cat, very cuddly. "
then you lifted your gaze to pantalone and said, "I never got your name, what is it?"
"pantalone."
...
it seemed to pantalone that you were the only thing he thought of. amid work, he thought of you and in the dead of night, he thought of you.
but who are you?
he knows barely knows anything of you. all he knows is your name and that you like cats... perhaps he should look into you a little.
just a little.
...
your routine is simple and remains the same.
you do nothing out of the ordinary and you're always content no matter what. you keep to yourself and don't go out much.
you have a pet cat and you moved to snezhnaya six months ago but where you're from originally is unknown. you live with a roommate, an older woman, and work with the adventure guild.

Hi! I just wanted to share this idea I got recently about a yandere Aether and maybe a fatui reader. Basically, the reader sees how everyone keeps using Aether, sending him off for errands and decides to help him by making him grow a backbone, but it kind of backfires. Feel free to ignore this idea or alter it if it doesn't really work for you. I'm also sorry if that's not much to go off of. It's my first time requesting something. Thanks and have a nice day!
backbone | yandere! aether x reader
content warning: none
Tumblr media
aether came to fontaine with one motive - to stop you.
but alas, there were people in need of assistance and help, so he helped, just as he always did, nearly forgetting his true motives.
he had seen you here and there but never got the chance to approach you, all he could do was watch as another chance to stop you faded away. it was tragic and almost laughable to you.
it almost felt as if he didn't want to stop you. you were almost disappointed - he would never catch you if this kept going on. perhaps you should make it a little easier for him.
or, you could straighten him out.
so you waited for him to catch you, as you were in no rush to get back to snezhnaya.
days had passed. you saw him every once and a while, but he never seemed to see you, which was disappointing as you waited you realized, he was too much of a pushover.
before he could even begin to look for you he had helped eight people, including one of the fatui soldiers you came with.
perhaps you should just approach him and tell him-
"look! it's (y/n), stop right there!" a high-pitched voice called out and you turned to the director of the voice to see aether and his floating companion blocking you from leaving the secluded ally you were standing in.
"it took you long enough...you're such a pushover. it's pathetic," you tut, watching as aether moved into a defensive position. "it's pathetic how you let people treat you, do you LIKE being bossed around and used?" you asked, watching as his brows slowly knitted together.
"I'm not being used, it's what I signed up for. to help-"
"no more of that helping, it's hindering you. ignore everyone and catch me - stop me from taking another gnosis," and with that, you left, too fast for him to react to but now the challenge was on.
...
"traveler, could you help me-"
"hey! could you help us out?"
"traveler, do you remember me? help me out!"
helping was his job and yet he was postponing it for your sake - a fatui harbinger. why should he listen to you anyway?
"no more of that helping, it's hindering you. ignore everyone and catch me - stop me from taking another gnosis."
... this must be a trick, right? why would you want him to catch you, to chase after you? it made no sense but he wanted to make sense of it.
so, he began to look for you, ignoring anyone who requested help from him. he needed to find you and STOP you.
he needed to stop you. he would stop you.
(y/n)... he would stop you.
he went around, asking about you, unknowingly catching glimpses of you only to realize after you were gone.
it was driving him mad.
were you doing this on purpose? were you trying to taunt him? trying to make him frustrated?
why ARE you doing this?
"traveler, why are you ignoring all those people? shouldn't we help them?" his floating companion asked but aether shook his head, saying, "we have other places to be. I have no time to help others right now."
"huh? why-"
"hush," aether slowed his walk, his eyes watching as you walked into a café, alone, "it's (y/n)! st-"
"shh and stay right here," aether began to trail over to the café, tuning out piamon's voice as she questioned his motives.
he entered the café only to be met with the faces of many fatui soldiers, "aether, I'm so glad you could make it," aether could hear you but couldn't see you.
his hand twitched... so you WERE taunting him.
he felt... offended.
"you were too late, though. I've already got the gnosis and I'll be leaving today."
was this a game to you? was he a game to you?
is this fun for you?
so this is it? you're going to leave him with these soldiers and he won't get to see you again? all of this build-up for this? "no," aether took a shaky step forward, "I'm going to stop you, (y/n) "
...
what a shame, you thought aether would catch you but he was just too slow. "hah, maybe next time." maybe next time he'll catch you, and maybe next time he won't be such a pushover.
"there's no need for a next time."
the voice came from behind, breathless and shaky. you made a move to turn around but before you could, a hand grabbed onto your shirt and turned you around, holding onto you firmly.
"hm? how'd you get out so soon."
"did you have fun?"
"pfft, no, i just thought you needed a bit of hel-"
"do you find this funny?"
"no. this is good for you, now that you can say no, you can get things done fas-"
"okay..." He released a shaky breath, momentarily closing his eyes before opening them once again, "give me the gnosis."
"no way. i need to get it back to snezhn-"
"(y/n), i caught you, give me the gnosis."
"i told you to catch me AND stop me from taking the gnosis, i already took the gnosis so the deals off-"
"no. i need to stop you," aether tightened his hold on you, forcing you to look directly at him. the look in his eyes told you he was hesitating.
"I have to stop you, (y/n)."

Yandere of your choice with a s/o who misses their family? What would be the yandere reaction??
me first, family last| yandere! dottore x reader
content warning: manipulation and dottore is very controlling
Tumblr media
"you miss your family all of a sudden? why is that?"
dottore's tone lacked any true interest in the conversation, but he asked anyway because he knew it would make you feel better.
"I've felt this way for a while now... and i just miss them, it's been so long since i saw them," you replied, your legs swinging on the edge of his work table, watching as he cleaned up his laboratory.
"how long has it been since you last saw your family, (y/n)?" dottore asked, as he ran a cloth across his counter, briefly glancing back at you.
"years. it's been years... and, I want to see them again," you hesitated to say that, wondering how dottore would react and respond but you needed to get it out.
dottore paused, why didn't he foresee this? looking back to the beginning of the conversation, of course, you were going to say that. of course, you'd want to go home. he sighed, gripping the cloth into his hand before asking, "did you part with your family on good terms?"
"kind of... they didn't want me to leave, but I wanted to, so I did... even though they didn't want me to," you pursed your lips. maybe they don't want to see me?
"hm," dottore dropped his cloth and turned to face you, "they wouldn't care if you came to see them... especially after so long. it's best to not waste breath over trifle matters such as that... get up, (y/n,)" dottore tapped at your knee and you got off his work table.
dottore dripped some cleaning solution onto the table before wiping it off. "wouldn't that mean they'd be happy to see me?" you back away towards the door, watching as dottore swiftly moved around his laboratory while he cleaned.
"no. they've most likely already gotten over you leaving and accepted they'd never see you again. surprising them wouldn't be the best thing to do." dottore turned to face you again, and did a small "shoo" motion before cleaning the door.
"but... what if they DO want to see me? what if they miss me? i- I miss them, I want to see them... i-"
"oh, hush. what are the chances that they truly miss you? you left them, what makes you think they'll want to see you?" dottore tuts, watching as your expression went from neutral to upset.
and without another word you turned on your heels and left, slamming the door behind yourself.
the next few days were terrible.
you were obviously unsatisfied with your last conversation with dottore but there was only so much he could do to smooth this out.
he could let you visit your family but there was a problem - a year back he had a segment of his report to your family that you had disappeared a few weeks after making it to sumeru.
he could find a way to wipe the memories of your family from your head but such an advanced thing would take quite some time to perfect.
or he could simply not let you leave this manor ever again.
he was leaning towards the last option the most.
... or he could let you visit your family under the surveillance of a segment - your least favorite clone to be specific.
the sole purpose of that segment was to ruin any trip you went on. whenever you want to leave the manor, dottore lets you leave with the segment and each time you come back to the manor, you're upset, frustrated, or in tears, crying about how much you hate that segment.
he did this with the idea that one day you'll get tired of having to go out with that segment and just choose to stay at the manor with him instead of going anywhere.
so with that in mind, dottore prepared a trip for you to visit your family. dottore approached you one morning, you were sleeping at the dining table, and he seated himself beside you and placed a hand on your back, and you jolted away.
"hm?"
"if you're still wanting to visit your family, I've planned a trip for you to visit them, it will be brief, though. you'll see them then come back immediately, understood?"
"you're letting me see them? thank you! than-"
"go get dressed, your ride awaits you." he then stood up and left the dining room.
dottore heard you rushing around, getting prepared, fixing your hair, getting dressed, and packing clothes. your heart was beating violently against your chest, and you were excited.
you dragged your bag behind you and pushed through the front door and that's when you saw him, dottore's worst segment.
he stood at the side of the carriage, tall and proud. you shook your head, turning on your heels, about to go back in to complain to dottore but before you could, the segment grabbed your arm and said, "come now, we must hurry to the port or else, we may get left behind."
you grieved silently as he helped you into the carriage.
...
needless to say, you came back to the manor in tears and with a tight fist. dottore brought you in, a hand on your back as he tried to counsel you.
"t-they weren't even there! they were gone! I... I couldn't when see them," you cried, shrugging dottore's hands off of you, "I'm so mad! I hate that... that clone of you-"
"drink this (y/n), and explain to me why you couldn't see your family..." you sniffled as dottore placed a warm drink into your hands, you parted your lips to speak but, "ah ah, drink this first," dottore pushed the drink towards you and you took a sip from it.
"they moved... i- I don't know where they are! they're gone... gone forever, I'll never see them again, never again." you cried, unable to control the distaste you felt.
"it's all going to be okay," dottore tilted your chin up, "this is not the end of the world, (y/n), your world shouldn't revolve around them," dottore then pinched your chin before releasing you from his hold.
this was, of course, a part of his plan, he figured he might as well make sure you never worry about your family again, they were just hindering you.
and they weren't gone forever, heh, just on a SMALL trip. upon hearing the news that their house was infested, (thanks to dottore and his segments) they'd have to leave so the infestation could be dealt with, that's all.
at that moment you went quiet and silently wept.
these are the moments that count, dottore reminded himself before taking the drink from your hand and putting an arm around you, he pulled you against himself.
"is my company not enough for you, (y/n)?"
you shook your head and mumbled into his shirt, "it's just... i just miss my family."

Heyooooo!!! Can i request for yan pierro and yan pantalone, seperate, with a darling who cant decide for themselves? I always have a hard hard time when it comes to decisions whether its small or large matter, and many people think its a burden
Choices *sigh* | yandere pierro and pantalone x reader
Tumblr media
PANTALONE
any other day, pantalone would have made this decision for you but today was your special day, so he wanted you to decide for yourself.
but you sat across from him, looking far more confused than you had to as you tried to think of a good reply to pantalone's question; "where would you like to go today?"
you didn't know where to go. there were so many places to go, how would you ever decide? you didn't know and you'd much rather pantalone surprise you than form him to make you decide.
"I dunno," you figured that was the best answer, but after seeing pantalone's smile slightly drop, you quickly followed your last statement by saying, "... you should decide where we go...because it'll be more special that way... to me."
pantalone parted his lips, to say something but stopped, just before he did, and sighed instead. you bit your bottom lip, you felt apologetic but what could you do? you really didn't know where to go.
but actually... you wanted to go to many places, lieye, inazuma, mondstadt... etc, you wanted to go sightseeing, you wanted to go a nice diner, you wanted to build a snowman... the list went on, you didn't know know what to do.
"how would that be more special, (y/n)?" pantalone questioned, he wasn't impatient, no, he was quite understanding of your indecisiveness, he understood some choices mattered more than others.
just as this one did.
and consequently, your birthday was one of his days off, so he had all the time in the world for you and only you.
"because... your input matters," you replied, fingerings at the hem of your top as you looked over to pantalone, "I can name a few places... and you can choose. does that sound good to you?"
pantalone's existing smile grew wider as he nodded to you, not hesitating, because pleasing you was what he wanted to do on your special day, that's what he wanted to do on any day.
"... a restaurant, sightseeing, the café downtown, liyue, mondstadt, inazuma, i want to visit-" you stopped the moment you heard pantalone laugh, your nails digging into the palms of your hands as you anxiously waited to hear what it was he had to say.
"perhaps we could narrow that list down... just a bit," he smiled, as he reached out to you, waited to see if you'd flinch away from him, and then placed his hand over your hand, "it would be too sudden to plan a trip to liyue, mondstadt or inazuma... how about the two of us go to the new restaurant downtown?"
you nodded, "that would be perfect," watching as pantalones eye seemed to twitch and his smile slightly dropped just as you attempted to pull your hand away from his. he hesitated before slowly moving his hand away from yours and motioned for you to stand up just as he did.
once the two had stood up, pantalone hesitantly wrapped his arms around you, afraid you'd rebuke his touches but you did nothing and leaned into the hug.
he was almost surprised when you leaned into his hug but that didn't stop him from pulling you closer to himself and letting his smile widen.
Tumblr media
PIERRO
"you've been so busy, lord harbinger," you whispered, your arms wrapped around pierro and his around you. "and I've missed you," you added, feeling as though it was the first time in years that you had seen pierro.
"(y/n)... forgive me for not making time for you." it was late, the sun had set hours ago and pierro had come to visit you, it was unexpected but you happily accepted him into your house.
and then the big question came, "what would you like the two of us to do? to make up for the lost time." He asked, seemingly unwilling to release you from the hug you initiated.
you tensed and that's when he released you, rubbing your arm gently as he awaited your answer, "I don't know... maybe we can just stay here and do something together?"
pierro tuts, before asking, "is that what you truly want? is there nothing else you'd like to do?" his question caused you to sigh before replying with, "um... I guess we could... go to a café together? or...shop together... maybe we could go to a restaurant together?"
"shop together? that could be nice, is that what you want us to do, (y/n)?" pierro asked, and you pursed your lips, does he really want to do that? or is he just being kind?
"uhm..." you were now hesitant to say yes. you wanted him to enjoy himself too, you didn't want to be selfish... "maybe we could go... stargazing?"
pierro seemed to be without a reply for a few seconds before nodding and saying, "that would be very nice. but are you sure that's what you'd want to do?"
... you bit your lip, hard, unsure of what to say. why does he keep questioning you? does he not want to do either of the things you want to do? is he trying to make you doubt yourself purposely?
you were confused, so you figured the best thing to do was shrug.
"... what was that? did you not understand why question?" pierro asked, a brow raised and his voice questioning, "would you like to go stargazing or is there something else you'd like to do?" pierro repeated his question and you began to feel bad.
"I don't know... I just-"
"(y/n), don't allow such trifle matters to intimidate you, we could do either of these activities at another time. don't think so much, (y/n), it's not a big decision."
it's not a big decision... he's right. "uhm...," you paused, then frowned before asking, "can you just pick one? i can't decide... I'm sorry," then scratched your nose as you awaited a response.
"if thats truly what you want... then ill take you shopping, (y/n)."

stars aligned | yandere! abyss prince aether x reader
summary: you were brought down from celestia to watch after tevet and protect tevet but after the abyss prince becomes interested in you and your origins, everything goes downhill for you.
content warning: mind break, stalking and obsession
(in my mind the abyss is a very confusing place that can be anything and is very trippy)
@ultraviolencenthusiast this is for you :D
Tumblr media
the heavy wind dried the tear that rolled down your cheek.
the grass underneath you poked at your skin, causing you to turn uncomfortably. your cries had lessened and instead of crying, you lay there, accepting your defeat.
with each blow of the wind, it seemed to whisper "aether," softly each time it passed your ear but you were far too disoriented to understand.
you began whispering along with the wind, mindlessly repeating the word "aether" over and over again, as your tears soon picked up again.
everything was overwhelming.
the heavy wind, the loud static noises, and the sharp grass. "aether," you whispered as you turned to lie on your back, looking at the space around you.
a void surrounded the platform you lay on, a dark, starry void that seemed to spin around you slowly. the air was suffocating, "aether," you whispered once again, you took a handful of grass and held it in your hand as the wind picked up.
"aether."
a portal opened before you and the abyss prince walked out. he kneeled in front of you, close enough for you to reach him but far enough so you'd have to strain to touch him.
"aether," the strong winds seemed to not affect him, as he sat down in front of you. "(y/n), tell me where you come from and this," he motioned to the void surrounding the two of you, "can end."
"aether," you cried, stretching your arm out to touch him and everything around you began to become loud and overwhelming, "aeth-"
Your finger grazed his finger and for a second everything was silent, the wind calmed down and the static sound ended.
a small smile appeared on aether's face as he watched you reach out to him again, your hand wrapping around his arm and holding on tightly.
"(y/n)..." aether reached out and placed his hand over yours, "where are you from... and don't say tevet."
your grip on him tightened as tears ran down your cheeks, you shook your head repeatedly, knowing you couldn't tell anyone of your origins or else there would be grave consequences.
... but surely the consequences couldn't be as bad as what you're enduring at the moment.
"let me tell you a story first... maybe that will help you. i first saw you three years ago..."
it's been three years.
three years since aether first saw you, during his journey throughout tevet. you were a wanderer that loved nature, you loved tevet.
you were there when he woke up, you asked him how he was doing but before he could respond you were gone.
perhaps he was seeing things?
the next time he saw you was inside mondstadt, inside the cathedral, he tried to approach you but before he could reach you, you were gone.
after that, aether went looking for you and even asked around about you, but no one knew who he was talking about.
he saw you again in liyue, walking down a trail, he was quick to approach you but by the time he caught up to you, you were no longer there.
throughout his journey in tevet, he saw you many times. wherever he was, you were also there. somewhere in the distance or someone near him, you were always there.
just doing your job. watching tevet, making sure nothing out of the ordinary happened. it was your duty which you were born with.
perhaps he was curious, infatuated, or perhaps it was true love but he yearned to see you again, to speak to you, to touch you and understand you.
after his journey, he found himself subconsciously looking around for you, no matter where it was he went. he'd always looked around a little too vigilantly.
then a year after your disappearance, he saw you again and swore to never let you out of his sight.
three years passed and tevat remained the same. sure there were minor problems, but they were usually nothing you couldn't fix.
that was until a large portal opened up in front of you.
you paused, your eyes wide as someone stepped out of it. the traveler from years ago, "hello," he greeted you as a larger THING followed him out of the portal, "so we meet again."
meet again? you took a cautioned step back, "I'm not sure- I don't know what you're talking about..." the thing behind the traveler made you want to drop everything in hand and run away, screaming.
but you were stronger than that. "hmm? you're confused? I was confused too... but then i saw you again and- and i watched you, then i wasn't so confused anymore."
"you watched me? why?" you question, your palms becoming clammy as he took a small step towards you, "to understand your motives... but watching you has left me with more questions than before."
a small hesitant smile appeared on his face momentarily before it faded.
"I'm still confused... what did I do?" you questioned him and he sighed, "it's been three years and you've already forgotten me? I didn't forget you. i always wondered about you..."
"did I know you-?"
"yes, you do know me. you appeared everywhere I went, no matter where I was, you were always there. so why are you acting confused?" the traveler slightly leaned forward, his hair dropping to slightly cover his eyes.
"i-i don't remember you... I was probably trying to make sure you weren't a threat to tevet, but I can't be sure..."
"I... a threat?" aether tilted his head slightly, "i-i..." you knew you weren't supposed to tell anyone your true origins, so now you were unsure about what to do.
the traveler pointed to the portal while taking a step towards it, "come with me, (y/n), i want an explanation."
(y/n)?
"what is that," you point at the portal and then to the large thing behind him, "and what's that?"
"oh? I thought you already knew," aether tilted his head waiting for you to reply but you never did, "after my journey through tevet... I was disappointed with what i learned-"
he paused, holding a hand out to you, "I learned of good things and bad things, such as the destruction of khaenri'ah- how terrible-"
khaenri'ah... you knew all too well about the destruction of that nation, you were there when it happened.
"I want to restore that fallen nation and bring back all of the lost lives-"
you understand now... how could you be so dumb. khaenri'ah, wanting to restore what was lost, the portal, the thing that made the portal, "the abyss order?" you asked him, "it that what this is about? are you a part of it."
to which he replied with a subtle nod.
you shook your head, this could end terribly for you. the abyss order was opposed to celestia and anything related to it, including you.
you have one too many run-ins with them... perhaps it was a part of his plan? has he been watching you for that long?
were you being targeted by the abyss order?
a sudden fear entered your body and caused you to turn away from the abyss prince as fast as you could and run.
the sky was darkened as a portal opened up in front of you. you were unable to avoid it and ran in.
...
the heavy wind dried the tear that rolled down your cheek.
the grass underneath you poked at your skin, causing you to turn uncomfortably. your cries had lessened and instead of crying, you lay there, accepting your defeat.
with each blow of the wind, it seemed to whisper "aether," softly each time it passed your ear but you were far too disoriented to understand.
you began whispering along with the wind, mindlessly repeating the word "aether" over and over again, as your tears soon picked up again.
and so the "timeless" loop began with seemingly no end.
it went on, over and over again, but aether had nothing to lose, not even time. watching you, seeing you, being with you after being without you for so long was nice.
having you hold onto him, say his name and look at him, truly acknowledge him was more than he could ever ask for.
he almost didn't want to you tell him where you were from, so the loop could go on and on forever and he could continue to see you and be with you forever.
because after watching you, he grew to like you... a lot.
"aether," you cried, your voice faint but he could hear you and so he approached you, perhaps things would be different this time.
you were fully aware of what was happening, the time loops were beginning to exhaust you, he could tell.
"aether," you reached out and grabbed his arm, holding onto him as if you'd lose him, and he placed his hand over yours, just like the other times.
but... something was different, your grip was tighter and your eyes were tearless. "so tired," you whispered, and your nails began to penetrate the skin on aether's arm.
"tell me-"
"c... celestia."
the abyss prince stilled, his eyes widened unable to hide his shock, "(y/n)... is that true."
your grip tightened, as you whispered, "can't go back, please" your eyes met his and he looked down at you, unable to process his feelings.
but he knew that he still liked you, he liked you a lot. "they... will be ma-"
"I'll make sure nothing happens to you, but from now on, I need you to help me," aether grabbed his free hand around your arm and made you sit up.
you were hesitating- you still loved tevet and didn't want to be the reason for anything bad happening but after a minute, it seemed that you had no choice and nodded.
and aether helped you up and brought you towards a portal and you followed him in.
...
you woke up in a bed, a soft static sound playing in the distance. a pair of fingers repeatedly grazed your cheek, as a disoriented voice spoke to you.
but something was different, you didn't hear the sound of birds chirping outside of your window. your eyes opened and you looked around.
aether sat beside you, his hand resting on your cheek. you're in your bedroom? what about celestia, you sat up abruptly, "w-what about-"
"(y/n), stop. don't mention it. nothing has happened to you, you're still safe," aether smiled at you softly, as he pulled his hand back.
"what? where am i?" the static sound put you off, something wasn't normal, and no matter how normal things look, something was wrong.
"oh... you've already figured it out... you're still in the abyss and you'll stay here until I'm sure that it's safe for you to leave."
which happened to be never. he planned to keep you here until tevet met its end and maybe even after.
because he actually really likes you.

hi! i hope you’re having a great thanksgiving. i was wondering if you could maybe do a drabble where capitano and pantalone (seperate) have a lover who sleeps all the time
counting sheep | capitano x reader / pantalone x reader
content warning: none.
(sorry for taking so long to make this :))
Tumblr media
"happy to see you," you mumbled from the comforts of your bed, your body wrapped in thick blankets to protect yourself from the cold draft coming in.
capitano grunted in response before making his way to the closet, where he would change and lie down for the night.
as capitano removed his armor, he thought about you. how was your day? did you stay in the bedroom all day? did you eat anything? did you miss him?
once capitano entered the bedroom once again, you were fast asleep on the bed, your arms stretched out as you lay there, softly breathing.
capitano sat on the edge of the bed and rested his hand on your head, causing you to stir and wake up. you pushed yourself away from capitano to give him more space.
he moved further onto the bed and laid down beside you. once he was comfortable you scooted towards him and rested your head against his chest and his arm wrapped around you.
you went limp seconds later, your eyes closed and your body close to his. capitano held you closer to himself and ran his finger across your cheek and neck, repeatedly.
you were a light sleeper but made up for the lost sleep by sleeping throughout the day. it took some getting used to for capitano because he wasn't used to such a lack of activity in his free time.
but he got used to it- silently spending time with you, though it was one-sided. he would hold you in his arms, run fingers across your skin, and press his cheek against yours, to feel the heat from your body going onto his.
it wasn't long before you woke up though, twisting and turning in capitano's arms until you were on your side, your back against his chest.
he shifted, his arms adjusting around you as he pulled you closer to himself. you took hold of his hand and closed your eyes once again.
your grip on his hand tightening as you drifted off to sleep once again.
Tumblr media
PANTALONE
"get up, (y/n), being lazy will get you nowhere," pantalone pulled a blanket from over your body, which gained a groan from you as you turned onto your side and wrapped your arms around your body.
"(y/n)," pantalone pinched your thigh, once, twice, and then one last time, you shifted away from you, groaning. "look out the window, it's bright and early, it's time for you to get up, (y/n)."
"I have nothing to do, no work, unlike you. so let me rest," you mumbled into your pillow, while using one had to reach for the blanket pantalone pulled off of you.
"even so, get up. be productive, make yourself breakfast, read a book, make a snowman, (y/n), do anything." pantalone took hold of your hand and pulled you up so that you were sitting up.
"..." you frowned, as you looked up at pantalone, "don't frown, (y/n)-"
you got up and went into the bathroom and pantalone heard the shower start. he smiled to himself as he left the bedroom, satisfied with himself.
...
"(y/n), are you not done with your shower yet? its been an hour and a half." pantalone knocked on the bathroom door and gained no response.
he sighed as he reached for the doorknob, expecting it to be locked but the door opened. pantalone looked into the bathroom, "(y/n)?"
he took a step in and looked around, and to his surprise, you were asleep, on the toilet.
pantalone's eye twitched.
he kneeled in front of you and tapped your leg until you woke up, seemingly dazed and confused as you looked around, "what? what are y-"
"(y/n), why were you sleeping in the bathroom? with the water running?" pantalone sighed as he stood up, bringing you up with himself.
"come with me, you'll be my assistant for the next few days, so now you'll have something to wake up for." pantalone smiled.

a merry christmas | yandere! pantalone x reader
summary: it's your first christmas with pantalone and it isn't very... merry.
content warning: financial problems (for reader), implied abuse.
Tumblr media
"merry christmas, dear (y/n)."
pantalone smiled, as he seated himself in front of you, a present in hand. you were unable to express the absolute distaste you felt as he placed the present in your lap.
he watched as you stared down at the present, making no move to open it and you felt as if he was mocking you, then, he released a small laugh, "how silly of me, how could i have forgotten so quickly," he adjusted himself onto his knees and leaned over to you.
he reached behind you and began to untie the rope that held your hands back. once he finished, he sat back down and placed the rope in his lap. but you remained still. pantalone puckered his lips as he watched you do nothing.
"where is your holiday spirit?" he questioned, reaching out to pinch your cheek, which was swollen, brusied and wet. you lowered your gaze toward the present and sighed.
"here," pantalone took the present from your lap and slowly began unwrapping it, "I'll do it for you." he wore a small smile on his face the whole time and it seemed to you that he was the only one happy.
"oh wow, how beautiful," pantalone said though there wasn't a hint of excitement in his tone, he held the necklace in front of you and you glanced up at it, "isn't it beautiful?"
you said nothing.
pantalone sighed, setting the necklace down, and reached over to you once again, this time he unwrapped the cloth from around your mouth, that stooped you from speaking.
you bit down on your bottom lip, to hold yourself back from yelling harsh words at him. "isn't it beautiful, (y/n)?" pantalone placed the cloth down and looked at you, his eyes narrowing.
you said nothing.
"I think it's beautiful... do you not like it? hmm, that's a shame, considering how much it cost," pantalone picked up the necklace once again and looked at it, "what should I do with it now? should I make you work to earn the money that I lost from buying this?"
the silence after he asked his question was... suffocating. "well then, you'll begin work tomorrow... since you wanted to be so ungrateful," he paused and frowned, mockingly, "I was just trying to make this a little bit more tolerable for you."
... paying off your debts to pantalone is hard.

Oh hello! Can you write for yandere Jumin and V from Myistic messenger with a reader who really realty REALLLYYYY likes otome games? And occasionally Simp with its characters?
gone too soon | yandere! jumin and V x reader
summary: you like otome games a little too much and it's starting to get bothersome.
content warning: unhealthy relationship (jumin part)
(sorry it took so long!! I hope this is what you wanted ♡)
Tumblr media
v
v isn't a jealous man.
well, he's usually not a jealous man, but recently, he's been feeling... jealous. he's never spoken to you about it though because what he's jealous over, is pretty childish.
instead, he tried to be happy because you were happy... but you were happy for the wrong reasons- why dies a fictional man make you so happy? why does he make you giggle and blush?
he isn't real.
v didn't understand, but he tried his best to not be bothered because he was better than that- that's what he told himself at least.
but he found himself feeling... bothered every time you took out your phone, knowing you were about to talk to your fictional boyfriend.
it's so frustrating, watching another "man" make you happy. v should be the only one making you happy, so he began putting more effort into everything he did with you.
waking up in the morning? he'd pamper you with love, more love than usual.
taking you on a date? he'd take you to the grandest places and if you didn't like that, he'd take you wherever you'd like and make sure to make it extra special for you.
going to sleep? he'd hold you in his arms, his fingers tracing your skin and he whispered soft words to you about how much he loved you.
all of his hard work paid off... well, sort of, at least.
on your most recent date with v, in a nature park, the two of you were observing a river. it was a fast, deep river and v was afraid to let you stand too close to him, so settled with holding onto you.
then he heard your phone buzz, over the sound of the loud, crashing waters. he nearly rolled his eyes before noting that you were smiling at him, "do you want to take a photo? I'll even pose for it."
a photo with your face in it? how could he possibly say no? he hesitantly released your hand and took a few steps away from you, his eyes glued to your surroundings, in case of an emergency.
he took out his camera and took two photos of you, all was well, at first. then the third picture, you tried to change poses which caused you to slip from the mud surrounding the river.
v panicked, but he was prepared, so before you could fall into the river, v took ahold of you and pulled you into his arms all while taking advantage of the moment by pulling your phone out of your pocket and tossing it into the river.
yes, yes, it was petty, but v didn't know what else to do about the issue. well, now it's been solved for at least two weeks.
you wrapped your arms around v as he pulled you away from the river. he was clearly shaken up by what happened, even more, than you were, you could tell by the way he held onto you.
"did you at least get good photos?" you asked in an attempt to lighten his mold but he didn't seem to feel any better, "that doesn't matter. come with me, let's go somewhere else."
now that your phone was gone, v just needed to distract you for the rest of the date, so that you wouldn't pull your phone out.
and it was quite hard, actually. after the two of you went elsewhere, you began reacting for your back pocket and v noticed, so before you could reach it, he took your hand into his and held you close to himself.
you'd smile at him and he loved watching the way your eyes would twinkle when you smiled. this was much better, having your happiness directed towards him... instead of a fictional character.
and perhaps that did make him jealous.
Tumblr media
jumin
what's so special about your phone?
why do you drop everything for your phone the second it buzzes? why does it make you smile so widely? why does it make your face flushed?
what is so special about that stupid phone? jumin wondered, watching as you sat on the couch with your phone in hand, biting down on your lip.
are you seeing someone else? jumin furrowed his eyebrows as he watched you. his chest tightening at the thought of you loving someone else.
he couldn't allow that to happen, because you said you were in love with jumin and no one else. you love him, there's no need for anyone else to be in your life.
because you have jumin!
so jumin got rid of your phone. he tossed it into the trash while you were asleep and pretended that nothing happened.
when you woke up from your nap, the first thing you reached for was your phone, but you didn't find it, odd.
you got out of bed and began looking around the room for it but you still didn't find it, feeling defeated you walked into the living room, where jumin resigned.
"are you feeling well, (y/n)?" jumin straightened his back when you walked in and couldn't help but noticed the dejected look on your face, "lost my phone," you replied as you sat down beside him.
"why is that a bad thing, (y/n)?" jumin questioned you, as he wrapped an arm around you and pulled you closer, "it just is... I don't think you'd understand," you replied as you placed your hand over jumin's hand.
"you shouldn't be so hung up over something so... replaceable," jumin smiled to himself as he watched you lift your head to look at him, "I know... but it's just-"
"to me... it's almost as if you loved your phone more than you loved me... but that isn't true, right?" jumin questioned, his chin pressing against your shoulder as he leaned closer to you.
you laughed softly, your eyes meeting jumin's as you said, "of course not... I love you a lot more than my phone."
that was only half of the truth though, jumin's "love" has become something so... forceful that you've begun to feel yourself drifting away from him slowly.
you didn't like when he asked questions like that- questions where you were forced to reciprocate his feelings.
and jumin could tell that you were becoming distant which is why he had to throw the phone away! how else would he be able to mend your relationship with him?
there was no other way.
"I love you too, (y/n), so much more than you could imagine," jumin pulled you closer to him, his fingers grazing the soft skin on your arm before pausing, and backing away slightly, "why are you hesitating?"
a nervous laugh left your mouth as you shrugged, saying, "I didn't even notice... it wasn't on purpose, I promise. I do love you, I really do, I promise."
a small smile made its way onto jumin's face as he nodded. he could see right through you and your lies. as hurtful as it was, he knew he couldn't force you to love him, so instead, he would train you to love him.
so that way, one day your love would come naturally.

this must be how a bird in a cage feels.
gazing out of their cage knowing they can not get out. it was upsetting and degrading. it was depriving but the thing you wanted most you couldn't get.
freedom.
you watched as the snow fell slowly, your cheek pressed against the cold window as you imagined yourself outside and away from the harbingers.
your breath fogged up the window as you sighed and pulled away from the window, looking outside only seemed to do more harm than good.
it made you feel nostalgic in the worst way possible, in a way that made you want to bash open the window and jump out, just to feel the cold air and snow against your skin all while knowing you'd get injured from the fall.
but it would be worth it, for the moment that the air touched your skin and then the snow, it would be worth it if you could be outside for just a few seconds.
it would be worth it.
the pain would very worth your freedom, or at least a few minutes of freedom.
it would be worth it.
it would be.
"are you feeling well, your majesty?" you slightly backed away from the window, turning to see PANTALONE standing at the doorway, with a bowl of soup in hand.
"no, I'm not." you stood up slowly and walked over to pantalone, taking the bowl from him and setting it onto your dresser, "so why do you keep asking if I feel well?"
"it's merely instinct," pantalone replied before he adjusted his coat and turned to the door, "where are the others?" you asked just before he left.
"it's only columbina and I at the moment, why?" pantalone pauses at the doorway and glances back at you, a questioning look on his face.
"I was just wondering because it seemed so quiet today," you muster up a fake smile and that caused pantalone to smile before leaving your room and locking the door behind himself.
you glanced down into the bowl of soup before back at the window and decided you'd let the soup cool down for a while before eating it.
is a nearly fatal injury worth freedom? you pondered as you sat down in front of the window once again.
yes. you concluded that you'd do anything for freedom. anything.
and that included throwing your bowl of soup at the window as hard as you could.
adrenaline filled your body as the bowl shattered upon contact with the window and soup covered the window and floor.
you hastily approached the window and checked for any cracks and fortunately, there was a small crack.
you didn't even think before you began throwing anything and everything at the window, which causes a lot of noise and a large mess.
but you didn't care.
and with one last hit to the window, the base of a lamp it shattered, glass covering the floor but you didn't think about it as you dragged yourself through the window, which left multiple cuts on your body and tore your clothes.
as the adrenaline wore off, you were forced to acknowledge how high up you were and how badly the fall would injure you.
you released a shaky breath, your hands tightening around the window frame, which caused the glass to dig further into your hands.
then there was the telltale sound of your door opening, followed by a gasp and then pleading. it was columbina.
but all sounds faded as you took a deep breath and jumped.
...
everything was so cold.
your eyes fluttered open, as cold air brushed against the tip of your nose. you sat up slowly, your hit and shoulder aching.
but you made it.
you felt calm and collected despite what you had to do to get there. but it wouldn't be soon before the harbingers came out for you.
you forced yourself to stand, and began to move, aimlessly, through the cold snow, toward the forest behind the palace.
"your majesty! please wait," COLUMBINA cried as she pushed through the snow to get towards you. you glanced back for less than a second before you began running.
fear overcoming your body. fear that you'd lose your newfound freedom.
"your majesty, did I do something wrong?!" she struggled to reach you through the thick snow, as she reached out to you.
you ran faster, into the forest, hearing columbina's footsteps before fainter and fainter the farther in you got.
"please come back! I love you!" she cried, her voice cracking before her footsteps came to a halt.
you wanted to stop and comfort her, just as she did you for the past month, but you knew better than to do that.
she couldn't be trusted.
though her cries were pitiful, you thought as you slowed down and dropped to your knees, taking in deep and shaking breaths.
she never did anything wrong, quite the contrary, actually, she comforted you whenever you required comfort.
you leaned onto a tree and took a deep breath, as snow continued to fall around you.
...
there was a faint knock on the door, which was met with no reply.
of course, dottore thought, of course, you wouldn't answer. DOTTORE twisted the door knob and looked into your room- your cage.
but what he saw in your room wasn't you, but a large mess. he opened the door and walked in, taking in the mess- the broken glass, the soup on the floor, the broken window, and drops of blood on the ground.
you were gone. dottore took in a sharp breath as he looked around, while fear grew inside of his body.
dottore approached the window and kneeled in front of the drops of blood, running a finger across it.
did someone take you by force? if not, why is there blood?
he stood up and looked out of the window and sure enough, there was a faint print of a body in the snow.
he turned to the door and left, making his way outside and from there he followed your faint footsteps into the forest.
dottore was determined to find you and bring you back, no matter what it took, or matter how much he'd have to fight you- he would bring you back.
because love comes in all shapes and forms.
...
"our majesty has gone missing."
the harbingers reacted in their special ways, though all of their reactions were laced with grief, unbelief, and shock.
PIERRO'S eye briskly roamed across the group of harbingers and noticed that two were missing, even though he made his request to see all the harbingers hours earlier.
tardiness would not be tolerated in such situations.
he turned to the fatui soldier that guarded the door and asked, "where are dottore and columbina? did my message not reach them?"
the soldiers straightened his back and replied, "we were unable to find them, lord harbinger. forgive me for the inconvenience."
pierro narrowed his eyes before turbine back to the harbingers, "our majesty will not last long in such critical conditions. so, forget about everything you were doing beforehand and focus on finding our most noble majesty."
...
ARLECCHINO and PANTALONE never really got along, but on this day, they needed to get along- for you.
the two went up to your room, in uncomfortable silence as it finally sunk in for the both of them, that you were really gone and there was a chance they'd never see you again.
"you said you were the last to see our majesty? it that true?" arlecchino questioned pantalone as she walked into your room, looking around at the mess.
"yes. I gave our majesty a bowl of soup... but apparently, our majesty never ate it," he motioned to the soup on the floor which was partially dried up.
"hmm, what a shame," arlecchino mumbled, as she looked out the window, to see faint footsteps leading to the forest "our majesty may be in the forest, look."
pantalone glanced out the window and also saw the footsteps. he turned and walked out the door, saying, "we must hurry. I couldn't imagine a life without our majesty."
arlecchino followed after pantalone and the two of them went towards the forest.
arlecchino was silent throughout the walk, though she didn't visit you as much as the others, she really, really loved you and was starting to feel some sort of guilt from not visiting you.
"there are extra footprints, perhaps our majesty was taken away," pantalone comments, and arlecchino nearly busted into a fit of rage at the comment.
but instead took in a deep breath and kept walking.
...
this wasn't a good moment for you, but a great moment for CHILDE. oh, how he loved the thrill of searching for you.
it was exciting and childe couldn't wait for the moment when he actually found you. "your majesty? where could you possibly be?" childe called out.
"be quiet for just one second!" SANDRONE scowled, as she kneeled to the ground and inspected the small drops of blood on the ground, "this could be our majesty's blood."
childe approached sandrone and asked "meaning?"
"our majesty could be very injured... if that's the case our majesty may not make it through the night, all alone." sandrone's eyes dropped and a frown grew on her face.
"oh, so we must find out majesty immediately!" childe was determined to find you, no matter what it took, because where was the fun in not finding you?
"childe! continue following the footprints," sandrone hissed as she stood up and followed after your footprints.
little did she know, those were columbina's footprints.
...
it's been hours since the harbingers first began looking for you, and you watched it all go down from a tree.
it seemed to be the safest place to be, you could see almost all of the harbingers roaming around the forest looking for you, except for capitano and pierro.
the snowfall was beautiful from your view and would be even more beautiful if the harbingers weren't around.
one day, you'd be able to watch the snowfall whenever you liked, without the harbingers around.
one day, you're going to run off to sumaru and live there. one day, you'll be free but not today, not yet.
you had no way to get around the harbingers and run because they'd catch you before you could make it to town, no doubt about it.
you kicked your legs back and forth as you watched columbina pause, a lift a hand to cover her face.
how sad.
you watched as childe walked around menacingly. you've heard him talking about hunting you down but you doubted he'd ever consider that you were in a tree.
sandrone seemed distant, to everything and everyone.
dottore started off looking for you, hours ago, but went back in, seemingly forgetting that he was looking for you.
arlecchino seemed on the edge, her hands pocketed and her eyes weary as she looked for you and called out to you in a shaky voice.
pantalone walked with his head lowered but you didn't understand why. he was always quite hard to understand but now he's even harder to understand now that you're human.
how long would it be before they left? you were getting colder and you were getting tired, but you didn't regret running away until you felt a hand wrap around your ankle.
you were in a pretty high tree, and the only harbinger tall enough to even have a chance of reaching you was CAPITANO.
"forgive me for what I'm about to do, your majesty," you stifled a scream as he pulled you down from the tree.
his arms securely wrapped around you once you were out of the tree before he said, "I've missed you, your majesty- please don't scream."
he placed a hand over your mouth, before continuing, "lord pierro requested that he be the first to see you once you've been found, so please don't bring attention to yourself, your majesty."
you struggled in his hold, twisting and turning despite what he said because you didn't want to go back but when his hold on you didn't falter you cried.
you tried to kick him, poke him and punch him but he never released you, "your majesty... please," capitano whispered, his voice low as he squeezed your arm in his hand.
"-go! let me go! stop-"
with an agitated sigh, capitano sat you on the ground, his body towering over you as he kneeled in front of you, "stop it, you're making this difficult for the both of us."
a stray tear ran down your cheek and capitano frowned, though you couldn't see it. "now, your majesty, will you come with me?" he held a hand out to you and waited for your response.
"okay... but can you promise me something?" this is a trick you've used on most of the harbingers, you don't have any real reason to do it, but it makes you feel in power.
capitano nodded, "I really like the apples in this forest... like those," you pointed a little past capitano and he looked before nodding, "whenever you can, will you pick some apples for me?"
"of course, your majesty." capitano nodded once again and you placed your hand into his, he helped you up and lifted you into his arms again and this time you didn't fight.
during the walk back to the palace, dottore was leaving just as capitano and you were entering, "oh, there you are," dottore grinned, reaching out to you and pinching your cheek, "you had everyone so worried."
your eyes narrowed at dottore and he released a soft chuckle, "there's no need to hold grudges, your majesty," dottore glanced at your bare feet and the blood soles of your feet, "send our majesty to me once you finished."
that was the last thing dottore said before turning and walking back into the palace, seeing no point in going back to the forest.
capitano brought you to pierro just as he requested. he knocked on pierro's door and pierro said, "come in."
capitano entered and the moment pierro saw you his eye widened, "what has happened to you, your majesty?" he approached you, placing a hand against your cold cheek.
capitano sat you on the couch and left.
pierro was torn to shreds once seeing you, "you look horrible, your majesty. are you in any pain," his hand ran across your cheek slowly and shakily.
the pity you saw in his eyes almost made you upset, could he not tell that you tried to run away because you didn't want to be here?
you nod.
"then it seems ill have to cut our reunion short and send you to dottore," pierro spoke with a caring undertone as he lifted you from the couch and brought you to dottore's laboratory.
the door opened and dottore smiled as he took you in his arms, and laid you on his table. "thank you, pierro," dottore said before shutting the door.
"your majesty," dottore circled the table, his hand running across the wounds on your body, "have you ever considered that you could die?"
you shook your head, "it's impossible."
"now is it? perhaps when you were an archon, but now you're just a human, you're just like me... do you truly think it's impossible?"
"please, dottore. don't try, please just fix my injuries," you begged and dottore nodded, "of course, I'll help you, your majesty."
...
dottore is a liar!
a completely untrustworthy man, why do you even trust him at times? your frustration seemed to only get stronger as you acknowledged that you were once again in your room.
the window has been fixed and now there are bars over the window. your room has been cleaned, everything was back to normal.
except for your body.
some 'temporary' changes were made, due to dottore's experiment. firstly, you could not die, which caused dottore much joy, secondly, he temporarily paralyzed you with some odd plant from sumaru.
he said it was just a precaution.
but all it really is is cruel.
columbina and sandrone are by your side, of course, they usually always are and you've never had a problem with it, but on this day, you do have a problem with it.
you don't want to be touched, bothered, or sung to, but what could you do?
sandrone was gentle as she touched you, she was even somewhat hesitant to touch you, "I am truly sorry, your majesty. I'm sorry that we made you want to run away," sandrone whispered and placed a small kiss against your cheek.
columbina sang to you, her hand holding onto yours but after a few minutes when she saw that you were still crying. her singing usually brought your tears to a stop.
but not this time so she stopped singing, as she realized; a song wouldn't soothe the ache in your heart.
