not to sound unhinged or problematic but i high-key miss the era when angbang pwp's would be batshit insane. like Melkor ripping Mairon's heart out with his clawed hand and eating it or impaling him on Grond or bondaging him with shadow tendrils or Mairon and Melkor penetrating each other at the same time somehow and getting off on calling each other by their evil names...
idc what everyone says, that shit had dark lord flavor. everything now is about kink negotiation and explicit consent and doting husbands. too much moral purity. no weirdness. no salt. i miss the weird evil angbang fuckery and i wish we left educational sex discourse for real life situations instead of fanfics about Satan and his henchman.
