What is a CG?

-CG stands for Caregiver

-Caregivers often are called pet names such as daddy, mommy, dada, papa, mama, bubba, etc.

-Caregivers duties and responsibilities vary throughout each CGLRE relationship

-CGs’ responsibilities can include:

•making sure the little is safe when they’re in little space (not touching sharp objects, staying away from hot things, not chewing on unsanitary things)

•helping a little enter little space when needed (by request, when they’re stressed, when they’re depressed, experiencing flashbacks,etc)

•helping a little do certain things they may be too small for when they’re regressed (changing clothes, making food, etc)

•reminding them to take care of themselves (brushing teeth, eating, drinking water, etc)

•creating rules with punishments and rewards for your little (GO OVER THESE WITH YOUR LITTLE AND MAKE SURE THEYRE COMFORTABLE WITH THEM)

-Remember CG duties are not the same for all CGLRE relationships

Hello Bigbear, can you please explain to me what age regression is? Is it a form of disassociation? I'm just curious and would like to learn more.

When age regressors get into little space they basically get the mindset of a baby/toddler/child. For some people it is a coping mechanism to relieve stress or because they have a trauma. Some people may think it is weird but regression it is approved by theraphists. There are also regressors that get into little space just because they think it is fun and makes them feel happy and cute. So maybe it is something for you if you want to try and learn more! 😊 Don't try to force it tho! for some people it just happens automatically while others have a hard time getting into space. -Bigbear🐻🍯💜

Medical Appointment

Your cg wakes you up from a nice nap you had, shaking your shoulder gently. You groan, "what is it bubba?" you ask

"Baby, you have a doctors appointment, its for the vaccine"

"Ohhh.. you mean the one with the big mean poopy face icky thing going around?"

"well- if you want to put it that way then yes. C'mon, get dressed. I'll help you tie your shoes"

You get up and walk to your closet, and you chose the cutest outfit you can make up with the clothes. You put on socks and shoes and then your cg helps you tie your shoes. Soon you two are in the car on the way to the doctors, and you brought your comfort stuffie to help make you feel safe as your cg plays soft, tiny tot songs on the car radio.

Soon you two arrive and wait in the waiting room with your masks on. Bubba is wearing a plain blue mask, while you're wearing a cute mask that fit your outfit.

"Y/N?" the doctor say.

"C'mon baby, its time" your cg says. They grab your hand and walk you to the doctor, but you resisted. The idea of needles and injections made you cringe and cry softly. Soon you take a seat at the doctors office, and you look over at your cg.

"Bubba! I don't wanna do this!" you cry.

"Shh, its alright baby, you wont feel anything. Just a little pinch. Here, you want bubba to hold your hand and let you squeeze it?"

"yes please..."

Soon the doctor walks in with a syringe in hand. "Alright, do you want me to sing a Elvis Presley song while i give you this?" they ask. You nod your head as they clean a small area your arm and inject the vaccine into you. You squeeze bubbas hand and try to focus on the singing instead of the pain. It only took a couple of seconds for it to be finished. "alright, there we go. You're ready to go! and make sure to wear your mask too." the doctor said as they place a band-aid on your arm. "wowzah... I didn't feel a thing! well- I did but not as bad I expected." you chirp. Soon you and your cg leave the building, and they turn to look at you.

"Wanna grab something to eat on our way home?" they ask. You nod your head as you smile widely and get in the car. Soon, you two head home, with your favorite snack, and bubba allows you to nap off the aches and pains from the shot.

Little activities that might help if you are having a rough day.

🐳 Take a nap with your stuffies. It’ll help you if your energy is running low.

🐬 Do some drawing to let out your feelings. It doesn’t need to look perfect but sometimes it helps to put it on paper and express yourself.

🐟 If you’re feeling like you wanna destroy something, get some Play Dough. Throw it on the table with all the anger you have. Slice it with a ruler, stab it, tear it apart, squeeze it until it comes out between your fingers. Hurt the Play Dough, not yourself.

🐠 Let yourself cry. Baby’s are allowed to cry and scream and so are you, let it out.

🐡 Distract yourself. Watch your favorite little movie even if you aren’t feeling very little. They are often colorful, uplifting and have a good message. That can influence your mood and distract you from bad thoughts you might be having.

🐙 Built a pillow fort and hide in it. If the world is overwhelming you then hide in your pillow castle/fort like the little royalty that you are. Take some time to just snuggle up and relax. Maybe look at a cute book or something if you need distraction.
