#i know this is a meme but this goes so deep#its the reason why i keep buying cds and dvds#streaming is only but a small selection of films that exist#i have dvds of films thaz i couldnt find on any platform at all and it saddens me to no end#because those films are great!!#other people cant find them and enjoy them for themselves because they simply dont exist on this random website on the Internet#films get lsot because theres “no demand” for them or they “dont make enough money”#people simply accept to NOT watch a film or explore wild options because theres only the popular options available#art gets lost to capitalism and money making and superficial consumerism#itll only get worse and film will get taken off of platforms in favor of “bettet” films#or because they dont have the rights anymore because of a new streaming platform that nobidy fucking needs#moral of the story: DONT RELY ON STREAMING PLATFORMS! BUY DVDS! OR BLUERAYS! OR VHS! PHYSICAL MEDIA NEVER DIE
