5:44 PM — SUGURU GETOU
Tumblr media
+ dad suguru au, the twins are 7 — fluff
Tumblr media
“do you like it?” mimiko’s small voice is echoed through the living room, and at first you weren’t sure how to react.
“um..” you tried to force a genuine smile and nod, but the girl’s short black hair was tied back in a way where nearly all of it was slipping from the scrunchie. you weren’t really sure how much of her hair had been in it in the first place.
“dad did it.” nanako peaked around her sister and a single glance at the young girl’s hair had you covering your mouth in fear you’d burst out laughing.
her long hair was twisted in a way that could’ve maybe been braids, but there were far too many strands in each one. it looked like a tangled mess.
“did he?” you smiled behind your hand, still trying to not laugh at the twins standing in front of you.
“yes he did.”
your attention moved to suguru who you hadn’t noticed yet. trying to keep a serious face you looked between the twins, who were hanging off each other, and him.
“it’s nice..” that was incredibly unconvincing and you knew it. he narrowed his eyes at you as if trying to decipher what you truly wanted to say.
“girls, why don’t you both go get dressed?” suguru squatted in front of the twins, a gentle smile on his face as he looked at them. one that greatly differed the calculated stare he gave you before.
“but y/n is hereee” nanako whined immediately and for the first time since you’d entered suguru’s home you laughed at the girls.
“i’ll still be here when you’re done changing.” you moved next to suguru, bending down in front of the twins girls yourself now. they stared at you, nanako with her arms crossed and mimiko with a dramatic pout. “okay, let’s make it a race. first one to come back out fully dressed can sit next to me on the train”
“you promise?” mimiko asked, her voice still just as excited as when you first entered the house.
“promise.”
with that, the girls took off down the hall towards their shared room and you could hear muffled giggling.
“suguru..” trailing off, you looked at the man next to you beyond amused. finally able to process the mess of hair the twins had before. “tell me you weren’t going to let them leave like that.”
“like what?” he grinned, feigning ignorance and it had you rolling your eyes.
“you do your own hair, how in the world did theirs end up like that?”
“they get too excited when i do their hair,” suguru’s voice was under laced with a whine as he moved into you. arms wrapping around your waist, he rested his chin on your shoulder and you leaned into his chest “they like it when you do their hair anyway.”
“mhm, sure.” you let him hold you like that for a moment, enjoying the closeness between you before you turned to face him. “you just want me to fix it.”
“maybe…” his lips pulled back in a small grin and before you could speak again he kissed you softly. you could’ve cursed him out for that, because all the stubbornness that made you want him to fix their hair himself melted from your body.
“you’re cruel.”
before suguru could say anything else, nanako came clambering down the hall. she was surprisingly in a fully finished outfit that some what matched.
“i’m first!” she called out, panting just a little as if she’d just exerted all her energy getting dressed.
“nooo!” mimiko ran out just moments after her, throwing her hands up in the air and falling to the floor. “no fair, nana!”
“it is fair!” nanako turned to her, pointing her finger in her face. her other hand resting in her hip and it made you chuckle at how sassy the girl was. “i was first, i get to sit next to y/n!”
“nuh uh-“
“heyyy,” you bent down next to the frisk girls again, smiling softly at them wanting to diffuse the growing tantrums between them. “nanako won the race, but what i’d i said both of you could sit next to me? who says i have to sit next to your dad? he can stand”
the girls’ laughter at your words made your chest grow warm, until your eyes moved to their hair once more.
“hm, but before we leave. how about i teach your dad how to properly do your hair?”
you grinned up at suguru who had the faintest bit of pink painted on his cheeks at your comment. he sighed and crossed his arms over his chest similarly to how nanako did before, you had to force yourself to not laugh.
“c’mon, suguru. don’t pout.” you teased him as you stood up, resting your hand on his arm and leaned into him. suguru’s pout broke into a smile as he stared at you.
“ewwww!” the soft moment between the two of you was shattered by the twins yelling unison. suguru shook his head and sighed, turning his attention to the girls.
“shhh, hurry to the bathroom. y/n’s going to make you girls look pretty.”

JADED - SUGURU GETOU
Tumblr media
+ ANGST, established relationship, no happy ending, not edited,, | 1.4k
Tumblr media
You were only a few feet from him now, just barely out of arm’s reach. But, even that was too far away for him. For a long moment, longer than he would’ve liked, Suguru felt as though he’d never remember how to breathe.
“Are you sure?”
His voice was quiet, words sounding strained like he forced them through the tightness swirling in his chest. That sound alone almost broke your heart, or it would’ve, if he hadn’t broken it into a thousand pieces earlier. You weren’t sure how much left of it he could crush.
You noticed his eyes were trained on you, flicking back and forth like he was tracing your face into his memories.
“Suguru..” His name slipped from your tongue with a wavering edge, and you knew if you said anymore you’d let the tears that’d been welling in your eyes go.
You were suddenly aware of just how cold it was out, and for a second, you let yourself wonder if it had been this cold out earlier. Hugging your coat closer in hopes to capture whatever warmth it could spare, you turned your gaze away from him.
“Wait, I’m sure we can figure something out.” Suguru took a step toward you, and as if by a cruel instinct that crept its way into your muscles, you flinched back. You hadn’t meant to react that way, but it was too late. Something dark slipping into his eyes, whether it was betrayal, anger or sadness, you couldn’t tell. “Y/n..”
In all the time you’d known Suguru, you’d never heard him sound like this. The way he said your name stung, it felt like the first time he’d ever said it.
“No, stop it.” You shook your head, knowing if you let him say anything else the little hold you had on yourself would break. There was a strong chance you’d let him back in. The voice in the back of your head screamed to give him another chance, that this was all a mistake and mistakes can always be fixed. “There is nothing to figure out, Suguru! You lied to me this whole time!”
Your voice finally cracked, and you threw your hands up in the air. This was beyond exhausting, and it was definitely something you’d never thought could be a possibility.
“No, I didn’t-” Suguru cut himself short when he caught your sharp glare, rubbing the back of his neck nervously as he continued to try and explain himself. “Fuck, it was just in the begining.. I never expected it to go this far.”
“Oh, well I’m sorry that I forced you to go farther than what was in the fine print of your dare.” Despite the tears streaming down your face, you were seething now. Anger flared in your chest as you glared at the man in front of you, just at the mention of the damned thing set your blood on fire.
“Fine print?” He stared at you for a second, like he couldn’t believe you were speaking to him like this. “It wasn’t like that. The dare was a stupid spur of the moment drunk thought, Satoru-”
“For god's sake, Suguru! Take some accountability for once!”
He wasn’t sure what it was about the way you yelled at him, but it pierced straight through the clouded thoughts he’d had about this whole thing. Ever since earlier when you confronted him about overhearing Gojo talking about the dare, there was a lingering hope that things could go back to what they had been before.
You weren’t sure how long the two of you stood on the sidewalk, the frigid night’s air was seeping into your bones as you glared at him. Usually, you’d find a night like this beautiful. The lights of the city shimmered against each snowflake that fell, and for some reason the sight brought tears to your eyes.
“So,” You turned to him now, voice wavering one again, but now with an extra layer of betrayal. “Were you just going to keep this a secret forever? We’ve been dating for a year, Suguru. A year!”
A chill went through Suguru at the tone of your voice, he knew how deeply he had fucked up.
“I wanted to tell you-”
“Tell me what?” You snapped, cutting him off once more. “That you asked me out only because your best friend dared you to? What a fine story that would be to tell someone, huh? Is that what we would tell people when they asked how we met?”
Closing the distance between you two, you pushed your pointer finger into his chest, staring up at him with a cold glare.
“Oh, Suguru was dared to see how far he could get with me, isn’t that just so romantic? I bet-”
Suguru cut you off now, his fingers wrapping around your wrist harshly for a moment before pulling your hand from his chest.
“I didn’t just ask you out because Satoru dared me to.” For the first time in probably the entire time you’d known him, a cold edge slipped into his voice as he spoke to you. “You have no idea how long I’d been interested in you before that, y/n, I was fighting with myself for months to get the courage to finally tell you how I felt.”
“That still doesn’t give you the right to keep this from me. Did you ever consider how that would make me feel, Suguru?” You sneered, ripping your hand from his touch. The ache in your chest made you want to forgive him so badly, he wasn’t the type to do something like this, there must’ve been a good reason.
“That’s all I ever thought about.” Suguru kept his eyes on you again, scanning your face for any sort of sign of hope. “I love you, Y/n.”
“No.. no, you don’t get to say that to me.” You shook your head, everything was far too overwhelming now, even the chill in the air offered no solace from the burning emotions that coursed through you. “Not anymore.”
A flash of panic went through his eyes and you almost felt a little satisfied with your comment. Suguru’s heart sank as he fully realized your words, he never imagined that this would happen, not with you. He knew he fucked up with the dare, this was all his fault. He knew that. But still, there was something in him trying to claw to the surface. If he could just get through to you, even a little but, he could fix things. He could explain how he never meant for this to happen, things could work out.
He ran a hand through his hair, frustration and pain etched onto his face. “I never meant to hurt you like this, please trust me.”
“Trust you?” You looked at him again, shoulders trembling at the intense struggle within you, the fight between the love you had once felt for him and the pain of this realization was wearing you thin. “How can I trust you anymore..”
The silence that fell between you after you trailed off was heavy, and with every second that passed, you felt the distance grow. It was evident now that the love the both of you held that once felt unbreakable was crumbling.
“Wait, I’m begging you to let me explain,” Suguru pleaded now, voice breaking with the weight of his own guilt. His breath seemed to hang between you, visible against the glow of the city behind him. “I-I can’t lose you, not now.”
The chill of the wind was harsher now, nipping at your cheeks and it took everything in you to ignore how sad he sounded.
You took a step back, staring at him for a moment. His eyes held a mix of desperation and guilt, and you had to force yourself to look away, unsure how much longer you could take before you broke.
"Please" Suguru's voice cracked and you finally heard the unshed tears coating it.
“No-I need time.” That’s all you offered him, and it took every ounce of strength you had to turn away from the man you’d loved. “Don’t follow me, I’m going to stay at Shoko’s apartment. I can’t… I can’t look at you anymore.”

NO BC STFU POPPY ANN MCLEAN JOHNSON III, THIS WAS SO HOMEY AND DOMESTIC STOP IT . the "growing a baby" took me the fuck out and i don't know why
3:56 am - Katsuki bakugou
Tumblr media
domestic fluff + pregnancy
Tumblr media
Bakugou would give anything right now to switch quirks with someone and be able to teleport home. He feared he might explode if he spent one more moment in this car.The thirty five minute drive from the airport was starting to feel like an eternity and he wasn’t sure how much longer he could stand it. He knew he was in for a headache when his connecting flight got delayed, getting him home hours after he had planned on arriving. Glancing out kirishimas passenger window he started counting down the seconds till he could see you. He hated when missions took him away from home but this one was extremely difficult, considering you could go into labor any day now. He had felt like a maniac the whole trip, constantly calling to make sure you weren’t at the hospital moments away from giving birth.
Opening his eyes he was about to ask how much fucking longer when the car pulled into the neighborhood and two seconds later Kirishima was pulling into y’all’s driveway. He wasn’t sure if he’d ever been happier to see the home the two of you shared. “Fuck it’s good to be home”, he mumbled, stretching out his limbs before sitting up. “Thanks for picking me up”, leaning back he grabbed his luggage, hauling it over before opening the door.
“Yeah of course man tell y/n I said hi”
“Will do”, closing the passenger door he gave him a wave before heading up the driveway. Selfishly he was hoping you were still awake, so he could at least sneak in a kiss and an ‘I missed you’, before drifting off to sleep. But he also knew you’ve been struggling with sleeping lately so he was hoping you at least were getting some rest.
Opening the front door he smiled at all the packages littered in the foyer, boxes that he assumed were filled with baby stuff. He kicked his shoes off before making his way up the stairs to your bedroom. Opening the door he smiled when he saw your sleeping figure curled up in the bed. Setting his bag down he made his way over to you, kneeling down in front of you to press a kiss to your forehead before moving his attention to your belly. “I missed our little chats buddy”, he still was baffled at how much he missed talking to his unborn child. “I’m back though, I had to go out of town for work but that’s the last trip for a while so I definitely won’t miss you being born”
“Thank god”, you mumbled, slightly startling him.
“Fuck I didn’t know you were awake”
“I’ve been in and out of sleep for the past hour”, sitting up slightly you gave him a tired smile. “How was your flight?”
“Awful”, leaning forward he pressed his lips against yours, “just glad to be home”
“Glad to have you home”, wrapping your arms around his neck you littered a few kisses on his cheek. “It always sucks when you’re gone but this time just really fucking sucked”
“I’m sorry”, he mumbled as he started kissing you again, “not leaving on a mission like that again anytime soon”
“Good or I’d have to make a phone call”, you said with barely any bite in your words.
Chuckling, he stood up, pulling off his clothes to get ready to hop in the shower, “how terrifying”
“I know right”, standing up, you followed him into the bathroom, sitting on the toilet while he got in the shower.
“Go to sleep I’ll be in bed in a minute”, he said over his shoulder as he stepped under the hot water.
“I wanna hear about your trip”, the sleep that laced your voice caused him to smile.
“Well you’ll get a kick out of this but apparently icy hots dating someone”
Gasping, you pulled the shower curtain back a little bit, mouth wide open. “No way”
“Yup, deku was filling me in on the plane ride there”, he wasn’t sure when he started pocketing away stuff that was going on in his friends lives so that he could fill you in on the gossip but he wasn’t mad about it.
“So he’s keeping it quiet I’m assuming”
“Mhm only the nerd knows”
“Cause he snooped?”
“Yup”
“Well now I have to invite shouto over for dinner”
“What? Like he’s gonna tell you?”
“Everyone eventually caves and tells me”, he couldn’t even argue with that statement.
“But the trip itself was fine just standard shit”, turning the water off he stepped out, grabbing a towel to wrap around his waist.
“Well I missed you”, smiling down at you he leaned in to press a kiss to your forehead.
“I know I missed you too”, resting his hand on your belly he gave you a tired but genuine smile. “Let’s get you in bed though”
“Me? You’re the one that’s been traveling all day”, you said, standing up to follow him into your bedroom.
“But you’re growing a baby which I assume is a little more exhausting”
“Can’t argue with that but let’s just say we’re both tired”, you said with a yawn before laying down on your side of the bed.
After quickly throwing his boxers on he climbed into bed with you, wrapping his arms around you. “Wanna grab breakfast in the morning?”, he asked softly, a volume of his voice only you got to hear.
“Of course I do”, smiling you pressed a kiss to his cheek, “I’m so glad he waited till you got home”
“Me fucking too”
Letting out a sigh of contentment you closed your eyes, finally being able to let yourself sleep.

i fucking love everything you write
suguru's throat feels tight.
not in the nice way—like when someone pays you a compliment you aren't expecting, or you're given a thoughtful gift.
his airway is a vice; sticky and closing in on itself like a boobytrap in those terrible action movies that satoru always makes him watch, where the walls are slowly crushing inwards on the hero, leaving no obvious way to escape.
his face feels hot—too hot for the meagre amount of alcohol he's had to drink that evening. hot enough that he's sure his cheeks are flushed a vicious red. he looks down at his hands, still wrapped around the half-drained drink between them, and when he pulls one away from the circumference of the glass he sees the way his fingers tremble, moved by a force only he can feel.
he sets his cup down on whatever surface is within reach and looks for the nearest exit.
the bar is crowded, and every body that jostles him on his odyssey to the door makes him feel even more sick to his stomach—makes him acutely, and uncomfortably aware of just how many people are jammed into such a confined space. with every step he takes towards the fire exit (the one which at this point he just has to pray isn't connected to some kind of alarm) it seems to be growing further away, like his steps are a paradox he's trapped in.
finally, finally, his hands press down against the push bar of the door, and cold winter air hits his burning cheeks like a slap.
he's on his knees retching into the grimy snowbank that lines the back alley before the door has even fully swung closed.
"oh, wow,—"
suguru can barely hear you over the sound of his pulse in his ears. it was too noisy in the bar to make it out this clearly, lost in the thrum of the bass-heavy music and the spiral of his thoughts, but now it's unmistakable. it pounds in his head, under his tongue, trapped in the walls of his throat.
he lifts his head, his eyes bleary from the tears his exertion had sprung to them, and he sees a figure a few paces away from him with a cigarette lifted to their lips.
he blinks hard, willing the world to come back into focus. as it does (painfully slowly,) he can see you better. the first thing he can clearly make out is the oversized jacket you have wrapped around your frame (big enough that it can't possibly be your own.) his eyes flicker next to the bare legs that peek out from underneath it, and trail all the way up to the lines of your face as you watch him. but it's your eyes that make him falter for a moment: curious but strangely impassive at the same time.
"—rough night?" you ask, but you make no move to come any closer to him.
he's grateful for at least that small mercy, he can't help but think.
"sorry," he chokes out, spitting into the sludgy grey snowbank one last time just to try and get the terrible taste out of his mouth. he stands unsteadily, his hands braced against the brick wall of the bar to keep himself balanced. "i didn't even drink that much."
he's not sure why he feels the need to say it, or make any effort to save face when you've just seen him at what's surely one of the lowest points of his life. you're a stranger, after all. what does it matter, anyway?
you hum a bit, taking another drag from your cigarette. the sound is halfhearted, and it upsets him unjustly.
"i really didn't," he insists, wiping at his mouth with the back of his knuckles and turning to you properly. "i-i'm on these new meds and they've got me all fucked up."
your eyes widen a bit, and he watches the way the smoke slips out of your lips—painted a rich, ruby colour for the evening.
"no shit?" you ask him. "you shouldn't be out partying if you're sick, y'know. alcohol can really fuck up scripts."
"i'm not sick," he replies quickly. too quickly. too ardently to possibly be true. and the silence that follows is too heavy for such a cold, still night. he looks away, fixing his eyes on the road at the end of the alley.
"oh," you drag out the word, an understanding lilt in your tone. "those kinda meds."
suguru glances back to you.
"so," you take a step towards him, and it sets his teeth on edge. "what's your poison of choice then? paroxetine? fluvoxamine? good ol' fashioned escitalopram?"
suguru's head is still spinning from the liquor, but his pulse has died down a bit. now his mouth feels uncomfortably dry.
you keep going.
"are you taking it neat or did they give you a little chaser with it too for a bit more"—you make a little flourishing gesture with your hand—"oomph."
you're right in front of him now. close enough that the smell of your cigarette has finally reached him. suguru can't help but eye it covetously, longing for the pack in his own coat pocket, left somewhere in the bar. you follow his eyes and laugh a little, holding the half-smoked cigarette out to him. it has a lipstick mark on the filter, but he takes it anyway.
he sucks in a greedy, needy inhale.
the rush of nicotine hits him right away, comforting and familiar. his exhale feels almost rapturous.
he takes another little puff, then extends the cigarette back out to you.
"don't worry about it,"—you wave the gesture off—"you can keep that one on account of the whole... y'know..." your eyes flicker down to the snowbank where geto had just been retching.
oh, right.
"thanks," he mumbles appreciatively, wasting no time before he takes another drag.
the two of you stand side by side in the dingy alley while geto finishes off your cigarette. he crushes it under the heel of his boot, grinding it down into the cracked asphalt, once it's done.
"how'd you know?" he asks after a few more moments of silence. the cold is starting to get to him now—registering in a way that didn't when he first made it outside. the chill bites at his cheeks and his nose, stinging in its frigidity.
"know what?" you feign coyness, tilting your head a little to the side. he sees a flicker of something behind your eyes again that slips through the facade of composure—something mirthful, and maybe a little mean.
he swallows, and tastes tobacco on his tongue. "about the anti-depressants."
you laugh a bit to yourself, but the sound is strained like you're almost trying to bite it back. "don't take this the wrong way, but you just sort of look like the type."
he looks at you—really looks at you—then.
you're pretty.
he supposes he recognized that already, even if he didn't process it properly at the time. your lips look soft, your eyes draw him in, and in any other circumstance he thinks you might have been the type of girl he sidled up alongside in a bar just like the one he just fled and tried to start a conversation with.
but these aren't any other circumstances. you just watched him puke his guts up in a filthy alley and then guessed his SSRI prescription like the world's worst game show. and to make matters worse, his dick hasn't even been working right lately since he started these new pills.
as though life wasn't already cruel enough.
the fire exit flies open again, and all attention turns to it.
"there you are," shoko is standing in the doorway, half-in and half-out of the bar, cringing against the cool evening air. she frowns in suguru's direction. "we've been looking everywhere for you."
suguru watches as she ducks her head back through the doorway, but whatever she calls over her shoulder is lost to the music that's bleeding out into the alley from inside the bar. gojo appears behind her in an instant, his displeased expression brightening immediately upon seeing his friend. he pushes his sunglasses up atop his head, his white hair pinned back underneath them.
"suguru!" he cheers. "we lost you."
"i was just getting some air," suguru smiles blithely, in the way that he's perfected.
gojo shoulders his way out the door towards suguru, dragging him back towards the door with an arm slung around his neck. shoko's eyes flicker over to you.
"oh, hey," she says, nodding in greeting.
"shoko-senpai," you return her greeting politely.
"are you coming back in too?" she asks.
gojo and geto both pause in the doorway, turning to glance back at you.
"no, i'm heading home," you say with an easy smile, not unlike the expression geto had just shown. "you three have a nice night."
"get home safe," she calls after you, a lilt of curiosity in her tone. you lift a hand over your shoulder as you walk away, waggling your fingers in a lazy wave.
"who was that?" gojo asks as the door swings shut behind shoko. he leans in front of suguru so his voice can be heard over the loud music.
"she's a junior in my department at school," shoko explains, "don't you recognize her?"
gojo purses his lips as he contemplates it and then shakes his head definitively. it's not unusual for satoru not to recognize someone, especially a pre-med student instead of a physics student like himself, but suguru is a bit surprised that he can't recall meeting you previously.
satoru tugs suguru's arm back towards the thick of the crowd, and he braces himself for the oncoming barrage of stimulation. he freezes just before he takes his first step, whipping back around to the door.
"what's wrong?" satoru asks him, leaning over his shoulder. he's got his sunglasses on again, and now suguru can't through the lenses in the dim light of the bar, but he knows satoru well enough to picture the wide-eyed look of curiosity that must be behind them.
suguru's brow pinches in a bewildered furrow.
"was she wearing my coat?"

Snow was starting to come down thicker, slowly covering everything in a soft white blanket. It left a promise to wipe away everything that came before, even if it was for just a moment the city was put on pause, given time to breathe as the hard year came to an end.
Light from the balcony reflected on the snow as it fell, and you could see the breeze push through the snowfall. Snowflakes seemed to dance in the wind with a mind of their own.
The cool air slipped through the crack in the door sending chills down your back each time it brushed by. You took shelter near the fireplace hoping its warmth would fight off the cold trying to soak through your clothes. There were other places you could settle yourself in, but you wouldn’t have the same view as you did there.

needs — suguru getou | jujutsu kaisen
Tumblr media
⊹︎ established relationship, fluff, timeskip
Tumblr media
this felt strange to him.
the gentle care of your hands as they ran through his hair was foreign.
yet, there was a slight comfort slowly creeping in, he couldn't fight it. especially when his mind couldn't be pulled from the feeling of your hands playing with his hair.
he shifted, leaning further back into you than before as he sat between your legs on the bed. that brought a smile to your face.
with the slightly new angle, looking at him nearly took your breath away.
getou was so pretty. something about the way his eyes were closed so softly as he finally relaxed into your touch warmed your chest.
dim light from the setting sun shining through the window cast over his face, and you felt lucky that the only light within the room danced on his features.
if he had even a sliver of his normal awareness of you, he probably would've pulled away to pick apart why you were staring at him.
you couldn't help it though. because, for the first time in a long time, you noticed the corners of his lips turning up into a slight smile. and this time you knew it wasn't forced.
"what're thinking?" you spoke barely above a whisper, as if you were scared you’d disturb the subtle peace forming.
“i’m not sure.”
his voice was soft. words slightly hesitant as he spoke, breaking the silence that had fallen over the both of you even more now.
you nodded at his response despite him being unable to see it.
“that’s okay.” you whispered, resting your chin on his shoulder hugging him tightly to your chest. “we don’t have to think right now.”
getou appreciated that, more than you’d know, and if it the light filtering through the windows would’ve been a little brighter, you maybe would’ve seen his lips tremble ever so slightly.
since he’d come home earlier, your attention hadn’t strayed from him. it would be hard for him to admit, but it stirred the butterflies in his stomach that he thought had disappeared.
“we’ll just stay like this..” you whispered even softer, moving your back from the headboard to lay fully in the bed, you let his head rest against your chest. “for as long as you need.”
the warmth of his body as he lay against you fought against the chill of the evening air. the stress from what today brought to getou slowly slipped from his body, and he let out a shaky breath.
“okay.. thank you.” he turned to nuzzle his face into the crook of your neck, and you couldn’t help but hug him tighter to you.
it would’ve been hard for getou to admit, but he needed this. the both of you had been so busy lately, the only time spent together was while sleeping. he’d missed you so much.
despite wanting to savor the way you held him, with every moment that passed, his breathing grew deeper, and you noticed it’d been a while since he’d shut his eyes.
it was slightly hard to keep yourself awake as well. the warmth and comfort from him was all but lulling you to sleep.
as your short lived battle against sleep came to an end, you realized that for once the twisting of stress that seemed to always dig into your chest was gone. replaced by the pleasant heaviness of the man sleeping on you.
you didn’t know how much you needed this too.

sleepy - buddha | record of ragnarok
Tumblr media
⊹︎ in which: buddha falls asleep under his favorite tree and really doesn’t want to let you go
⊹︎ warnings: none, fluff
⊹︎ word count: 1.08k
Tumblr media
the air was chilled as it drifted by. goosebumps rising in the wake of the breeze on your skin.
it wasn’t too much yet. just a slight discomfort creeping slowly in, you could definitely ignore it. especially when your mind was pulled away from the cold, your attention shifting to the man lying beneath you.
he’d moved for a moment, his legs tangling with yours even more than they had before. for a second you weren’t sure if he’d woken up, but once he stilled again you got your answer.
trying your best you moved to look up at him, wanting to capture his face as he rested.
buddha was so pretty, especially with the tiniest of smiles that pulled at his lips when he slept. today was no different and you found your eyes glued to him.
warm light shining through the leaves of the branches above you danced with the shadows on his fair skin. his hair fell from the large messy bun on top his head, framing his face in the prettiest way. you couldn’t help but try to paint the image in your mind.
it was hard to memorize every detail of someone though, even if you’d seen him like this a thousand times before. every time you looked at him as he slept under the great oak tree he loved dearly you noticed something new, and today it was his glasses.
usually buddha liked to take them off before sleeping, just in case he were to roll over, but he nodded off too quickly this time. they rested nicely against the bridge of his nose, the right side dipping slightly lower than the left. you’d never known they were crooked, it brought a smile to your face.
slowly you took the glasses from his face, trying your best to not disturb him. once you placed them to your side you brought your hand back to his face, cupping his cheek ever so gently.
his skin was soft and just a bit cold. you hummed quietly, tracing your thumb across his cheekbone you wondered if he even felt the wind getting colder.
“what’re you doin’?”

tired — nagi seishiro | blue lock

“it’s getting late.”
you stole your chance at the brief glimpse of the time on nagi’s phone as he scrolled looking for another game to play.
his only response was a small hum that was barely audible. you’d been living within him long enough now that you could decipher what he meant. even if it seemed like he wasn’t paying attention to the world outside of his phone when he played a game, you knew otherwise.
“don’t you have to be up early tomorrow?” you leaned forward, resting your chin on nagi’s shoulder to get a better look at what he was doing. hugging your arms tighter around his waist as you did.
the two of you had been in this position for a while. the moment he’d gotten back to the apartment and saw you sprawled out on the couch he dropped everything and snuck himself to lay between your legs. his head resting tucked against the curve of your neck. you weren’t even surprised, it was his favorite way to sit with you, or rather on you.
“i might skip class.” nagi mumbled before turning his focus on a new game.
“i thought you were going to walk to class with me.” you paused for a second, thinking back to your classes yesterday. nagi had mentioned he liked going with you to campus but it sucked that his class was earlier than yours and reo’s. “you can’t take it back now i was looking forward to that.”
he stayed quiet for a bit, eyes glued to the shooter game on his phone. but even though he didn’t audbily react to your words, you felt him slump further against you and you knew he’d changed his mind.
reading nagi was a lot easier than you thought when you first met. it was all in the litte actions, the ones that someone wouldn’t be able to see if they weren’t looking for it.
a soft drawn out sigh sounded from him when he closed out his game. he tilted his head up to look at you, bottom lip stuck out in a ridiculous pout.
“what’s the matter?” you mused, pushing one hand through the hair falling into his eyes.
“i was hoping to sleep in tomorrow.” he started, lacing his fingers through your other hand. “you should stay home with me.”
“don’t tempt me.” you laughed and shook your head at his antics. “reo would be pissed that we skipped and didn’t tell him.”
“he’ll get over it.” nagi mumbled, pouting even more than before.
“don’t be mean.” you chided him slightly knowing he fully meant that. “we should go to bed.”
you pushed the both of you up off the couch as much as you could. it was hard to do, nagi offered no help in your movements as he kept his full weight rested against you. you poked his side a few times, knowing he was sensitive there.
“sei, c’mon.”
laughter bubbled out of your chest at the glare he sent you after he flinched away from your touch. it was short lived and you weren’t even sure how he held it in the first place. usually he’d break out laughing.
“don’t tickle me, i’m too tired.”
“then lets go to bed.” you managed to slip out from him, heading toward your shared room.
“fine.” nagi groaned, slowly following behind you but you stopped him as he started towards the bed.
“no, you’ve got to shower. i just washed the sheets today.”
his shoulders slumped at your words, you knew he was planning on showering in the morning like usual.
“only if you come with me.”
“i thought you were tired.” you laughed again, moving to wrap your arms around his waist from behind. resting your cheek flat against his broad back.
“i am.” he relaxed even further into your hug, “i want you to wash my hair like last time.”
“oh my god you’re ridiculous.” you didn’t think he was serious at first, but he shifted out of your hold and pulled you towards the bathroom. you couldn’t help but wonder now if he’d ask you to do it everyday now. “sei, you’re going to be the death of me.”
“good.”

flirty banter dialogues/prompts
extremely self indulgent. enjoy
cw: cursing, slightlyyyyyy suggestive
“you wish” “oh please i am a catch” “your ego fascinates me”
i love when all the characters are sitting in a room or something, and the topic gets to dating and B’s friend says something like: “B when are we finally going to meet the person you’re dating you cannot stop talking about them but we don’t even know their name??” AND A IS THE ONE THEY’RE DATING (in secret) so their ears just perk up
^^ A, smiling like an idiot: “<friend name> I am so incredibly curious what exactly has B said about this mysterious person” B: “LETS CHANGE THE TOPIC-“ “well A, according to B they’re the best sex B’s ever ha-” “NO NO NO WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS” while A is just like so enthusiastic “no no PLEASE elaborate” with just a smug smile knowing that it’s about them <333333 my heart
“…” “i can explain” “what did you do to my kitchen?”
“maybe you’re not so bad” “not so bad?? please i’m amazing” “right i forgot about ginormous ego i-” “-like i’m literally brilliant amazing smart cute funny <proceeds to name a hundred other adjectives>”
^ other character while smiling slightly and holding their head in their hand “unbelievable” *grins* “you love it though”
“sometimes the urge to punch you is just..unbelievably strong” “other times..?” “less strong, but still there”
“did you hit your head somewhere? you’re speaking more bullshit than usual”
character A using terrible flirting techniques to get out of stuff but it actually works except,,, with B it doesn’t..so obviously they interpret this as a challenge
^ “heyyyyyy name-” “dear god not again” “you’re so smart did you know that?” “it’s not happening just give it up” / “what do you want”
(on the phone/via text) “you free?” “not really actually i’m swamped at work-“ “oh. actually <roommate> isn’t home so i-“ “be there in five”
