harry was used to seeing you in ratty jeans and nothing much else. but this, this was different. you looked different. harry's eyes followed you around the party all night, he couldn't break the trance you set him in. you made your rounds before catching harry's glazed-over eyes. you didn't miss the way they eyed your hips as you danced. you always remembered how fond he was of your flowy skirts.
downing his drink, he walked over to you. "harry?" you said playfully, eyeing his ruffled hair. "y/n," he smiled down at you. he was a foot taller than you and it made you weak to your knees. music was blaring and the burn of your latest drink was still caught in your throat.
drunkenly, you grabbed his hand and placed it on your hips. "dance with me!" you yelled over the music. his eyes darted to the Gryffindors around him and then settled back on you. "merlin, harry. they don't care, no one's going to notice. plus, it's more fun if they do, right?" you whispered, leaning your body against his. he felt a thrill shoot down his spine as your lips came inches from his flushed skin.
he twisted away from you, grabbing your hips in the process. "is that what you want?" he said snarkily.

you let your body sway to the music as his hands roamed wherever they pleased. and you were right, no one noticed, no one cared. all that mattered was the boy in front of you and the music coursing through your veins.
