Listen, I LOVE the conjuring franchise, but what the fuck was The Nun 2.
Saint Lucy and the Pagans? Peak Christian propaganda
The info dump as if expecting everyone to totally forget the last film?
Father died of fucking cholera?
The weird telling us Valak was an Angel then nothing else?
Satan goat?? Zombie cockroach lady?
The fucking. Save the day by just praying, which didn't work in the film before, and retconning Maurice's exorcism?
BUT Sophie opening the door to the Warren's corridor was iconic, the flipping magazines and how she was laying like the crucifixion after? Very good.

History of Veganism, Its Impact on the Planet, and our body.
Tumblr media
Introduction
As we continue to witness the negative effects of climate change and the depletion of natural resources, more and more people are turning to veganism as a way to make a positive impact on the planet. Veganism is defined as a lifestyle that avoids the consumption of any animal products, including meat, dairy, and eggs. However, the history of veganism is much more complex than simply avoiding certain foods. It is a movement that has evolved over time and continues to gain momentum as we learn more about the impact of our food choices on the environment and our health. In this article, we will explore the history of veganism, its impact on the planet, and the benefits it can have on our bodies.
The Origins of Veganism
The concept of veganism can be traced back to ancient Indian and Greek philosophies that emphasized vegetarianism as a way to live a more ethical and spiritual life. In the 19th century, vegetarianism became more popular in Europe and North America, but it wasn't until the 1940s that the term "vegan" was coined by Donald Watson. Watson, along with a group of like-minded individuals, formed the Vegan Society in the UK as a way to promote a lifestyle free from animal exploitation.Over time, the definition of veganism has expanded beyond just diet to include a rejection of all forms of animal exploitation, including the use of leather, wool, and other animal products. Veganism has also become more mainstream in recent years, with celebrities and athletes promoting the lifestyle and vegan options becoming more widely available in restaurants and grocery stores.Today, there are many reasons people choose to adopt a vegan lifestyle, including ethical, environmental, and health concerns.
The Environmental Impact of Veganism
One of the primary reasons people choose to go vegan is for environmental reasons. The industrial production of meat, dairy, and eggs is a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, and water pollution.According to a 2018 study published in the journal Science, animal agriculture is responsible for up to 78% of greenhouse gas emissions from the agricultural sector and 14.5% of total global greenhouse gas emissions. This is due to the large amounts of land, water, and energy required to produce animal products.Furthermore, animal agriculture is a leading cause of deforestation, with vast areas of forest being cleared to make way for grazing land and feed crops. Deforestation not only contributes to climate change but also leads to the loss of biodiversity and can have negative impacts on local communities.By choosing to adopt a vegan lifestyle, individuals can significantly reduce their environmental impact by reducing their carbon footprint, conserving water, and preserving natural habitats.
The Health Benefits of Veganism
In addition to the environmental benefits, veganism can also have significant health benefits. A plant-based diet is rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and has been linked to a reduced risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, a plant-based diet can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, reduce the risk of heart disease, and improve overall health. However, it is important to note that a poorly planned vegan diet can also be lacking in certain essential nutrients, such as vitamin B12, iron, and calcium. It is important for vegans to ensure they are getting a variety of nutrient-dense foods and may need to supplement with certain vitamins and minerals.
Conclusion
The history of veganism is one of evolution and growth, from its philosophical origins to its modern-day impact on the environment and our health. By choosing to adopt a vegan lifestyle, individuals can make a positive impact on the planet and their own well-being. As the world continues to grapple with the challenges posed by climate change and resource depletion, veganism offers a way to live more sustainably.

Theres something about a tragedy that shows people’s true horrible colours.
I live in a village in the north west of England. Its quiet, its rural, its predominantly white. Apart from a time a few years ago when people would commute from Liverpool or Manchester to try to ram raid the local bank, its quiet and safe. There was some NIMBY mutterings when asylum seekers were housed in a nearby hotel but it stayed as that.
This Saturday a 16 year old was murdered in our village. Her name is Brianna Ghey.
People said how sad and horrific it was, but in the same breath turned venomously on the asylum seekers, insisting it was one of them, that no one was safe. They used Brianna as a reason to want asylum seekers gone, and glossed over her and who she was and the terrible thing that happened to her, in an attempt to back their racist argument.
Then it was revealed that she was trans. And the tide turned again. People who had been saying what a nice young girl she seemed in her pictures started using male pronouns for her, the fucking TIMES revised an article they had published to include her deadname, as though that was somehow what was important now. There are even fuckers claiming that whoever did it might have done it as panic, that she had “tricked” someone and they reacted when they realised she was trans. Instantly to them shes not just the victim, a poor girl who was brutally murdered after being bullied for years, after having to leave her school in the village to go to another further away because it was that bad, a fucking child who was lured to the park on a Saturday in a place she should have been safe, and murdered for no other reason than she was trans.
They’ve arrested two suspects. Two fifteen year olds. They lured her to a park and they murdered her. They murdered her because she was living her life as who she was. She was bullied for years and the school knew and did nothing, didn’t step in to help her, they’ve essentially left her to those murderous  bastards. She was a child and two other fucking children stabbed her multiple times and left her for dead. She should have been protected and she has been failed. I’m so sorry this was done to you Brianna.
Rest in Peace Brianna
