True they literally had Kevin and Noah’s one other friend they could of added Noah’s other friend and Kevin into the mix .
imagine how much more impactful kevin's entire arc might have been if we as the viewers had actually had the opportunity to get attached to him early on in the series. imagine how much tension could have been built up through noah's suspecting kevin is the observer. imagine how powerful that reveal might have been.
there's a reason why :D is so many people's favorite emh video. it's because there was buildup to the habit reveal. because it was a well-executed plot-twist that works even when you've already seen the series once, because the first time you watch it, you're surprised. shocked, maybe. and if you rewatch the series, that twist, knowing that habit is possessing evan, recontextualizes so much of his behavior in the early stages of the story. emh is genuinely such a good example of how to write an impactful plot twist.
every time i look at tribe twelve, i see an incredible amount of wasted potential and it's so genuinely frustrating. i'm not the arbiter of what is and isn't 'good' or 'valuable' storytelling, but oh my fucking god.

An important message
Hello again.
I’ve been looking in the TribeTwelve tags, and have noticed a significant number of people mentioning how they feel strange/worry about still enjoying TT, in spite of being 100% against Adam himself; they worry that they may be judged for it; that they’ll be seen as still supportive of Adam.
For a lot of these people, it’s a comfort/coping mechanism, or it helps them handle their mental health more easily in some manner, or the characters are close to them in some way for other, unrelated reasons.
I’ll make an important note on this, to avoid further concerns.
I, being one of the victims, personally don’t think you’re bad for still wanting to enjoy TT in some manner. I will, however, say - if you’re able to find alternatives to watching the series on the actual channel, that would be more preferable, as he wouldn’t be able to profit from the series (thus, avoiding concerns of supporting him in any way).
I believe there are people out there who have made archives of the videos and possibly other content as well. Feel free to add links to those archives in a reblog, or send me a link and I’ll add it to this post myself.
If you see somebody make claims of not wanting to support Adam but they still enjoy the series - under no circumstance should you ever go after them. I absolutely DO NOT allow any harassment going towards people who wish to still enjoy the series itself.
There is also another side to this “Should I still watch TT?” coin.
I also fully understand not being able to separate the creation from the creator - something a number of people were also concerned about.
If you, personally, cannot separate the two, I fully understand this, as Adam himself plays a large number of characters in the series, making it absolutely a challenge to keep enjoying the series in many cases.
If you would like to avoid seeing the series or content surrounding it, see if you can block any TribeTwelve-related tags to avoid further worries about that.
You, too, are equally as valid as the people still wanting to watch the series, and, just like those still wanting to enjoy it - you do NOT deserve any harassment going your way.
